How to install the Hippo mobile on the baby's crib?

Assemble the three parts of the bracket, then screw it securely onto the crib using the provided screw. Hang the music box on the bracket, then the arms with toys. Make sure the assembly is securely attached and out of reach of the child.

What type of batteries to use and how to insert them?

Use 3 AAA 1.5V batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment with a screwdriver, insert the batteries respecting the indicated polarity, then close and screw the cover back on.

How does Bluetooth work?

Press and hold the Bluetooth button (indicated by a light indicator) to activate the function. Pair your device with the Hippo mobile to play your own melodies.

Can I machine wash the plush toys?

No, the plush toys must be hand washed with lukewarm water and a mild detergent for baby clothes. Rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not machine wash.

From what age is this mobile suitable?

The Hippo mobile is designed for newborns (0+). It should be removed as soon as the child starts to push up on hands and knees (around 5 months) to avoid any risk of entanglement.

Does the projector work continuously?

The projector is activated by a short press on the dedicated button. It turns off automatically after a certain time or can be turned off manually.

What to do if the music does not work?

Check that the batteries are correctly inserted and not depleted. Make sure the On/Off button of the lullaby is activated. If the problem persists, replace the batteries.

Can the mobile be attached to a travel cot or playpen?

No, the mobile is designed only for standard cribs and bassinets. Do not install on a travel cot or playpen, as the attachment may not be secure.

How to clean the music box?

Wipe the music box with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive products, acetone, ammonia, bleach, or alcohol.

Where to dispose of used batteries?

This toy with Chipolino brand is intended to stimulate senses of newborn and very young babies (0+) and it has only entertaining functions – with different melodies, lights, projector and rotation of hanging plush toys. This toy is not meant for play or to be touched by the baby. It can be attached to baby cot.

Do not place other additional toys, objects or cords over this toy, because you will make it unstable and to avoid risk of entanglement, suffocation or falling over the child.
Do not make any settings, mount or dismount of the toy while there is a child in the crib!
- Regularly check all parts of the toy – stitches of plush toys and stability of fixing to avoid injuries. Tighten the mechanism if needed. There must not be damaged, worn out parts, loose connections

or splits on the frame. Discontinue and dismount the toy from the bed in case you find any damages. Remove the fault and only then you can continue using the toy.

The safety of this product and the materials used is confirmed by tests. Safety is guaranteed by the producer in the shape in which the product is produced and released to the market. Any modification carries serious risk of injury of the child!

ASSEMBLY AND FUNCTIONS

1-2. STAND ASSEMBLY

1. Position one to each other the base and holders of stand, as shown in the figure.
2. Untighten the mechanism at the bottom and place the stand to baby's crib. Tighten the mechanism until the stand fixes.

IMPORTANT! Make sure that you fixed the stand to the baby's crib.

Attach the module with toys onto the hook of musical box (fig. 3b).

Musical mobile for bed is assembled (fig. 3c).

Note: Before using the function of toy, make sure that there are installed batteries in the musical box.

4. FUNCTIONS

Functions: Bluetooth, melodies, projector, rotation of toys.

	Bluetooth light indication (fig. 5a)
	Lullaby selectionPress the button once for next lullaby. This button is active only if the lullaby function is ON.
	Projector – it turns on by short press of buttonBluetooth – it turns on by long press of button
	Volume control – 5 levels.Press the button to set the volume up. The volume is set in middle level by the producer.
	ON/OFF for lullabyPress the button to turn on or off the lullaby.
	ON/OFF for rotationPress the button to turn on or off the rotation.

5. BATTERIES

To use the functions of toy, you have to install batteries:

1. Untighten the screw at the cover of batteries compartment with a screwdriver and remove the cover.
2. Install 3 pcs batteries, size AAA/1,5V by obeying the given polarity.

Note: Batteries are not included in the set.

CARE AND MAINTANENCE

When you find loosen connections, broken or damaged parts of the toy, repair the damage and only then use the toy by its purpose.
Do not store the toy for long period of time in wet environment near sources of heat or under direct sunlight.
Do not use abrasive detergents, bleach, acetone, ammonia, alcohol or other aggressive detergens for cleaning.
- Plush toys are washable by hand in warm water and with mild detergent for babies' clothes. Do not wash toys in washing machine! Make you have rinsed the toys very well before let them dry!
