1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8BEFORE THE FIRST USE
- Remove all packaging materials and any promotional stickers.
- Remove any stickers and protective film from the soleplate.
- Heat the iron to the maximum temperature and iron over a damp cloth for several minutes to remove any residue from the soleplate.
Attention:
- The appliances are tested briefly each time after production. It is therefore normal for condensation droplets to have formed in the water tank.
- It is normal for a strange smell to be released during initial use. This smell will disappear after a while.
- There may be particles coming out of the ironing soleplate during the first use. This is normal. The particles are not harmful and will disappear after a while.
- While heating up the soleplate, a little steam will automatically come out of the soleplate. This is also normal and will last about 3 seconds.
- The iron must always be at "Min" if you put the plug in or take it out of the outlet.
- Never pull on the cord but on the plug itself.
USE
- Fill the water reservoir as indicated in "Filling the water reservoir".
- Put the plug of the device in the outlet.
- Make sure that the steam regulator is set to the no steam position.
- Turn the temperature regulator to the desired position: see "Temperature selection". The indicator light will turn off when the appliance has reached the selected temperature.
the indicator will turn on and off while ironing. This is to maintain a constant temperature. This is normal.
⚠️ If you put the iron down while it is hot, set it upright on a flat surface.
IRONING WITH STEAM
- Turn the temperature regulator to a temperature that includes steam. This is for "cotton" and "linen".
- Make sure that the water reservoir is always at least 14 full. If the water level is too low, steam will not be produced.
- The steam regulator allows you to either use or not use steam:
•roning without steam
• ECO: continuous steam with low consumption
• continuous low steam
• pulse high steam
- After use, turn the temperature regulator to MIN, move the steam regulator button to the "ironing without steam" position and remove the plug from the outlet.
FILLING THE WATER RESERVOIR
- Remove the plug from the outlet. Set the steam regulator to ironing without steam ✉
- Open the lid of the fill opening. Hold the iron at a slant and fill the water reservoir through the opening. So not fill it beyond the MAX level. Close the lid of the fill opening.
- If you live in an area with hard water, it is recommended you use 50 % tap water and 50 % demineralised or distilled water. Do not use chemically modified water or perfumed water.
- Never store the device with a filled water tank.

Line drawing of a mechanical component with a triangular base and internal structure (no text or symbols)TEMPERATURE CHOICE
- Check the ironing instructions on the item of clothing that you wish to iron. Use the dial to set the right temperature for the right fabric.
| Symbol Fabric Temperature dial | ||
![]() | Synthetic fabric/nylon | ● SYNTHETIC |
![]() | Wool/silk | ● ●WOOL- SILK |
![]() | CottonLinen | ● ● ●TTON - LINEN |
![]() | This symbol means that the article must not be ironed! | |
- Silk and materials with a separate shiny layer or other extra finishings should be ironed inside out at the lowest temperature.
- If a fabric consists of several types of fibres, always choose the lowest temperature to iron the combination of these fibres.
- Sort your laundry by type of fabric and temperature at which it must be ironed. Begin with the items of clothing for low temperatures and end with the laundry for the highest temperature.
- If you turn the temperature down, give the appliance time to cool off.
- Wools and other delicate fabrics such as silk, velour, etc., can best be ironed with a pressing cloth to prevent the fabric from being damaged. Always keep the iron moving.
- Never iron over zips or other metal objects in a garment. This can damage the soleplate. Always iron around such objects.
SPRAYING

- Pushing the spray button will cause water to be sprayed out of the opening and moisten materials difficult to iron.
- To prevent staining, it is recommended not to use the spray function on delicate materials such as silk.
- This function can be used with every temperature and will not interfere with the other functions.
- With the first use of the spray button, it will need to be pressed several times to activate it.
- Make sure there is always enough water in the reservoir.
STEAM BOOST

- You can remove stubborn wrinkles with a steam boost.
- The steam shot works best with the temperature regulator set at MAX.
- Press on the steam boost button. Wait a few second for the steam to penetrate the fabric before you press again.
- The steam shot can also be used when the iron is upright. This allows you to remove wrinkles from garments or curtain that are hanging up.
Do not use the steam boost button more than three times in a row in order to maintain optimal steam quality. Using the steam boost several times in a row will cool the iron. For this reason, pay attention to the temperature indicator light before and after you use this function.
EMPTYING THE WATER RESERVOIR
- Set the steam regulator to ironing without steam
- Pull the plug from the outlet.
- Open the water reservoir and remove the water. Shake the iron to remove the excess water.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Unplug the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning.
- Wipe off any residue on the ironing sole with a damp cloth or a non-caustic (liquid) cleaning product.
- Clean the upper part of the iron with a soft, damp cloth.
- If you do not use the steam iron for a long time, pour the water out of the water tank.
⚠️Do not immerse unit, cord, or plug in water or other liquid.
⚠️ Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive products to scrub the soleplate clean.
SELF-CLEANING
This function removes the lime scale and minerals that build up in the steam chamber. This treatment is best done once a month to keep the iron in optimal working condition. Depending on the hardness of the water, this treatment may have to be done more than once a month.
- Fill the iron as described in "Filling the water reservoir". Fill the water tank halfway.
Caution: Never fill the iron with vinegar or other liquid decalcifiers. - Place the iron straight up on a flat surface.
- Put the plug in the mains.
- Put the device on at the max. temperature. Wait until the device is at temperature.
- Hold the iron horizontally above the sink.
- Move the steam regulator to the self-cleaning position: 'CALC CLEAN'. Keep it pressed in.
Steam and boiling water will come out of the holes in the sole of the iron, rinsing the lime scale and minerals out.
⚠️ Note: Make sure you do not come into contact with the hot water. - Move the iron gently back and forth, until the water tank is empty.
- Release the steam regulator button when you are finished cleaning.
- Place the iron in a vertical position and allow it to cool completely
- Dry the sole with a cold, damp cloth.
