SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USER
- This product is intended for indoor, non-industrial, non-commercial; household use. Do not use the item outdoors or for any other purpose. Misuse or improper handling may cause problems in the appliance and cause injury to the user.
- Ensure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.
- Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.
- Always remove the plug from the power socket when the appliance is not in use. Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on.
- Before cleaning or storing your appliance, always unplug the appliance from the power supply and let it cool down.
- The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

Do not place or operate this appliance near water sources.

Don’t use the appliance if it has fallen or appeared to be damaged.
- Never immerse the appliance or the plug-in water or any other liquid. In the event of the appliance falling in water, disconnect immediately from the mains supply and take it to an authorized service agent for repair before reusing.
- Do not place or operate the appliance and its power cord on or near hot surfaces (e.g., stove plates) or open flames.
- Do not leave the power cord hanging from sharp edges and keep away from hot objects and flames. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
- Avoid to do the following: pull or carry by the cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not operate appliance over cord or cord / plug is wet.
- Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged. In case of the cord be damaged, it must be replaced only by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid Hazard.
- In case of appliance malfunction, or if it has been damaged in any manner, return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
- In case of hardware problems, do not attempt to repair the product yourself. Repairs should only be carried out by
qualified technicians.
- Never use accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
- The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.

- When you want to remove the plug from the wall contact, please do this at the plug itself and not by pulling on the cable or the appliance itself.

- This appliance is not a toy, when used by or near children, close attention is necessary, and store this appliance to a safe place, out of the reach of children.
- Keep away from moving parts.
- Do not contact the hot sealing element located on edge of the top housing of this machine. It is hot and may get burn.

A short power supply cord is provided with this product. An extension cord is not recommended for use with this product, but if one must be used, the marked electrical rating of the cord must be at least as great as that of the product.

It’s no need to use any lubricant, such as lubricating oils or water, on this appliance.
- This appliance can't be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. - Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Intervals for 60 seconds is recommended every time after seal.

This unit works with silicone sealing gasket to make optimal and perfect sealing in order to keep the food fresh for a long time.
2. SEALING FOAM GASKET
The main function of Sealing foam gasket is to ensure, that vacuum chamber must airtight, so that the bag can be vacuumed properly.
3. VACUUM NOZZLE
Vacuum nozzle is used to remove the air from bags / canisters / bottles. Ensure not to block the vacuum nozzle when vacuuming a bag. Accessory hose is required when vacuuming a canister or bottle.
4. VACUUM CHAMBER
An airtight chamber for vacuuming.
5. SEALING STRIP
Works with silicone contact bar for sealing function.
6. ACCESSORY BUTTON
Press to vacuum canister/wine stopper with the help of accessory hose.
ACCESSORIES
This product includes: 1 pc detachable power cord of 1.2m, 1 pc Vacuum hose for cans and wine bottles and already prepared vacuum bags of 15 x 20 and 20 x 30cm, 3 pcs in each size.
SPARE VACUUM BAGS AND VACUUM BAG ROLLS
This appliance can be used with the Vacuum bag and Vacuum plastic bag rolls up to 30 cm width. These bags and rolls you can find in any nearby supermarket or small electronic store. But as in SOGO we do believe in giving the customer full after sales service, so in order to provide that SOGO offers you its wide range of Vacuum bags and Vacuum plastic bag rolls, which are completely safe and made of food grade material. These bags you can find in our website www.sogo.es and your nearest electronics store as well, where usually you buy the Best Quality SOGO products.
The models and sizes of Plastic bags and Plastic vacuum rolls are as given below (appropriate for our model SS-13030):
BR-2025 Pack of 100 bags of 20 x 25 cm
BR-2230 Pack of 100 bags of 22 x 30 cm
BR-2205 Pack of 2 rolls of 22 cm width and 5 m long roll
BR-2805 Pack of 2 rolls of 28 cm width and 5 m long roll
VACUUM BAG ROLL CUTTER
This Appliance is provided an inbuilt vacuum bag roll cutter on the top of the lid. In order to get the required size of the bag, place the roll on the top of the lid and pull the desired bag length, hold the one side of the bag with one hand and slide the bag cutter across the roll to obtain the desired bag length.

MOIST DRY FOOD SEAL VAC SEAL STOP 1 2 3 41. DRY /MOIST FOOD SETTING BUTTON
This mode is used to seal the food bags with the dry ingredients as well as moist. To use this mode, press the Food Touch button and the DRY indicator light illuminates as default function of the sealing the food bag, to seal the bag with the moist food ingredients press the food button again the moist indicator light illuminate. Usually, it takes longer time to seal the moist food bags than the dry food bags.
2. SEAL BUTTON
This function is used to just seal the bag without vacuuming. To use this function, place the food bag opening into the vacuum chamber and close the lid. Press the SEAL button and the seal button indicator light illuminates and top bar with the indicators lights starts moving and blinking, when the Seal indicator light turn off it means the bag has been sealed.
Note: Wait for 60 sec and let the appliance to cool down in between 2 sealing processes.
3. VAC & SEAL BUTTON
This function is to use vacuum and seal the bag. To use this function, place the food bag in to the VACUUM CHAMBER, Close the lid and press the VAC / SEAL button and indicator light of VAC / SEAL turn on and it start vacuuming the bag, within few seconds it vacuums the bag and VAC / SEAL light will turn off and it starts sealing the bag automatically as per described seal function previously. Once the bag being sealed the seal light will also turn off.
Note: Wait for 60 sec and let the appliance to cool down in between 2 sealing processes.
4. STOP BUTTON
During any working mode, press STOP button to stop immediately any function.
5. INDICATOR LIGHTS
The indicator lights illuminate when this appliance works in VAC / VAC SEAL / SEAL mode.
HOW TO OPERATE THE VACUUM SEALER

- Close the lid and press both ends of the lid to close it firmly and we will hear "click" sound, it means the lid has closed properly and both side release button will pop out.
- In order to seal the bag, press the seal button function and it will seal the bag instantly as per SEAL process described previously.
To vacuum and seal the bag, press the Vac / Seal button and firstly it will vacuum the bag and later seal it as per described VAC / SEAL process. - When Seal or Vac / Seal button light turn off, it means the Vacuum and sealing process has been completed. Press side button of the appliance in order to open and remove the sealed bag.
In order to bring out more of your vacuum sealer you can use it for vacuumizing canisters and bottles with the help of vacuum hose.
What is vacuum hose?
The vacuum hose is an additional accessory which is provided with this unit, with the help of vacuum hose you can remove the air from vacuum canisters, wine bottles or any type of bottles and glass jars. The vacuumizing of the vacuum canisters and bottles, helps you to preserve your food for longer duration than food placed in any normal jar or opened wine bottles kept in the refrigerator.
How to use the vacuum hose?
To use the vacuum hose just attach the one end of the hose with the vacuum sealer and other end with the vacuum canister (picture 1) or wine bottles (Picture 2) or glass jars which you want to preserve the food, press the VAC button of placed in top left side in the internal of vacuum sealer and immediately vacuum sealer start to vacuumize and indicators lights starts to flash and in matter of few seconds the vacuum canisters or wine bottles vacuumized and now you can store them for the longer period than normally you used to do.
Note: Vacuum canisters you can buy in any of nearby stores or supermarkets.

THINGS TO REMEMBER WHILE USING THE VACUUM SEALER
- Do not overfill the bag. Always leave at least 6-8cm gap between bag contents and top of the bag.
- Make sure the bag is dry. It will be difficult to make a perfect seal if the bag is wet.
- For best results, perishables still need to be frozen or refrigerated after vacuum sealing process.
- Clean the opening end of the bag inside and outside. Flatten the bag opening.
- When vacuuming a large item, to prevent wrinkles in the seal, gently stretch bag and make it flat before placing it into the vacuum chamber.
- When you are vacuum sealing items with sharp edges (such as dry spaghetti, silverware, etc.), protect the bag from getting punctures by wrapping the item in soft cushioning material, such as a paper towel or you can use a canister instead of a bag.
- When using canisters, always leave 2.5cm / 1 in of space at the top of canister.
- Allow the appliance to cool for 60 seconds between uses to avoid activating overheating protection and to ensure the long life of the appliance.
- If you are not sure whether your bag was sealed properly, simply reseal the bag.
- For best results, use bags and canisters produced by the manufacturer.
- Microwave: Don't heat sealed food in microwave
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or in any other liquid in order to Prevent water or other liquids entering into the AC power port of the appliance and damage it.
- Do not clean the appliance with abrasive cleaning agent to avoid damaging the surface.
- Wipe the outer surface with a soft and damp cloth.
- Wipe away if any food or liquid fallen into the vacuum chamber with paper towel.
- Make sure to dry the appliance thoroughly before using it again.
NTC THERMISTOR-TEMPERATURE SENSOR:
This appliance is inbuild with NTC thermistor-temperature sensor to monitor the temperature of the appliance. In case of overheating of the appliance the protection mode will be activated automatically, with lights flashing and operation unavailable. Once the appliance cools down the indicator light turns off and you can use the appliance again.
TROUBLE SHOOTING:
Appliance does not switch on when the power cord is plugged into appliance.
• Make sure the power cord is not damaged
- Make sure the power cord it correctly plugged into the wall outlet.
Appliance is plugged in but cannot vacuum
- Ensure the lid is properly closed.
- Ensure the opening end of the bag is correctly placed into the vacuum chamber.
- Check if the bag is punctured.
- Check if the foam sealing gasket is deformed or damaged
The bag is inflating after being vacuumed
- Check if there is a hole or puncture in the bag. It may be punctured by sharp items. Use a new bag if necessary and seal it again.
- Check the sealing seam. Any wrinkle along the sealing seam may cause air re-entering. If yes, simply cut the sealed edge and re-seal the bag again.
- If there is moisture or liquid at the opening end, cut the bag and wipe it away. Then choose MOIST FOOD setting and reseal it.
- If the food has been stored for a long time and the bag is full of gases, it might get spoil and it is suggested to discard.
Note:
- To prevent the appliance from overheating, allow it to cool for 60 seconds between uses. Keep the lid open to accelerate heat dissipation.
- If the bag melts, the sealing strip may be overheated. Allow the appliance to cool for 60 seconds before using it again.
- For the best preservation, do not reuse the bags after storing raw meats, fish or greasy foods. Do not reuse the bags after simmering or microwaving
WARRANTY PERIOD:
SOGO provides you 2 years warranty from the date of purchase against any defect due to defective material or workmanship of the product. If the product poses any defect or become defective during this period, SOGO will repair it free of cost (change in certain cases) in any of their own or authorized after-sales service centre.
The warranty does not cover if the product has been used in a wrong way or being used other than its intended use. Failing to follow the SOGO manual guidelines in order to ensure the product and user safety will lead to warranty extinction. Also the warrantee will be invalid, if the product servicing or repair has been done by any service centre other than SOGO'S its own service centres or officially authorized centres.
