APPLIANCE DESCRIPTION

Please read the instructions for use carefully prior to using the product. Store these in a safe place for future reference.

SAFETY MEASURES

- This product can be used by children aged 8 and older and anyone with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge, while under the supervision of an adult or that are directed on how to use it safely and who understand the dangers.

• Children must not play with the product.
- Children should not clean or carry out maintenance on the same without supervision.
- If the cord is damaged, do not use the product. The product must be taken to an authorized service centre for repair, otherwise, the product will have to be discarded.
- The product may no longer be used if water begins to leak from the same.
- The device has warmed-up areas. Anyone sensitive to heat should be careful when using the device.
• This product is for domestic use only.

Connecting to the mains:

• Prior to plugging in the product, check that your mains voltage is the same or within the margins as the one indicated on the product label.
• Keep the cable away from sources of heat, hot surface, moisture and liquids. Do not turn on the device if any liquid spills onto the floor where it is located or near to the on switch.
• Keep the device away from sources of heat, hot surface and moisture.

• Do not attempt to disconnect the device if your feet are submerged in the water.

• Do not connect or disconnect the device while your hands are wet.

• When finished using the device, set the switch to the off position and disconnect it from the mains, using the connector plastic cover at all times when picking it up, and never pulling the cable.

• The power cable must have a proper amount of looseness when plugged into the mains in order to prevent it from being accidentally disconnected from the mains during use of the device. If this is not possible, reduce the distance between the device and the mains.

Repair:

Only specialised personnel may carry out repairs on electrical devices. Any incorrectly carried out repair could lead to considerable danger to users.

Always contact the after-sales service for any repairs. Failure to do so will render the product guarantee null and void.

Contraindications:

This may never be used as a replacement for medical treatment.

This product is for domestic use only.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or who do not have the experience and knowledge necessary for the operation of the same unless they are being supervised by a person responsible for their safety.

This should not be used in the following

cases:

• While sleeping
• On animals
• If you are sensitive to heat, unless you do not use the device's heat function.
• Following the consumption of any substances that could alter your capacity of perception (such as painkillers, alcohol, drugs).
• While carrying out activities that could lead to an unexpected reaction that may pose a risk.

- Suffer from the following diseases or disorders: circulatory problems, varicose veins, diabetes, thrombosis, open wounds, contusions, lacerations of the skin, inflammation of the veins

- Have any serious ailment in the foot area.

- Muscular injury, bone fracture or sprain in the foot area.

Use:

• Only use the device for the purpose indicated in this instruction manual.
• Do not use liquids other than water for this device. No additional substances such as mineral salts or bubble bath may be used.

• The surface where the device is to be placed must be flat, horizontal, stable, clean and dry.

• Do not use the device with more water than the maximum level marked on the same (approx. 3L).

• Disconnect and stop using the device immediately if you notice any water leaking from the same.
• Do not leave the device unsupervised while it is running.
• Do not stand on the device or apply any extreme force on any of its parts.
• Do not use any electronic instruments while using this device that may fall into the same. Do not place any electronic devices into the water.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

We wish to first of all thank you for choosing UFESA for the purchase of our HM-2200 hydro-massager. Benefit from the different comfort sensations that are felt when using this device, thanks to its vibration massage, therapeutic heat and relaxing bubble treatment function.

Check that the device is intact and has no damage. Please contact the store where you purchased the product for any query you may have.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Prior to plugging in the product, check that your mains voltage is the same or within the margins as the one indicated on the product label. Ensure that the safety instructions marked the beginning of this manual are followed at all times during the use of this product.

Follow the instructions below for the start-up of this device.

1. Remove the product from its original packaging, taking special care not to damage any of its parts. Do not use any excessive force to remove the product from the box.
2. Place the device on the floor, ensuring that this is a totally flat, horizontal, clean and dry surface.
3. Add enough water not to go over the maximum level marked on the device (approximately 3L). Ensure that the water does not splash onto the outside of the container while in position. You can also use the product in dry mode if desired.
4. Connect the device to the mains.
5. Rotate the on switch (1) to select one of the 3 available operation modes.
6. Enter your feet into the water, remaining seated on a chair near the device and relax while enjoying your hydro-massage session.
   The recommended duration of each session is 15 minutes. Wait for about 15 minutes between each additional session.

This device includes a warm-up cable which runs around most of the water container base. For this reason, the water can be added directly at room temperature as the device heats it up. However, pre-heated water from external sources can be used if desired to reduce the time spent on this task. The device will ensure that the water temperature remains stable in this case, thus preventing it from cooling down.

Operating modes:

This device has three different operation modes: The therapeutic heat, vibration massage, air bubbles and infra-red light are combined in the same.

Mode 0: Turned off.

Mode 1: Infra-red and vibration.

Mode 2: Bubbles and heating up.

Mode 3: Vibration, bubbles, heating up and infra-red

Massage rollers:

This device has a total of four massage rollers. Two of these are located in the upper section (2) of the device while the other two are found at the base (6). Exercise upwards and backwards movements, leaning the sole of your feet on the massage rollers without exercising any excessive pressure in order to guarantee the transmission of a pleasant sensation

PRODUCT CONSERVATION

Unplug the product from the mains in order to extend its shelf life. The product should be stored in its original packaging in a dry, cool and clean environment without placing any load on top of the same if it is not going to be used for an extended period of time. Remove the water and ensure that it is completely dry prior to storing it.

PRODUCT CLEANING

Before cleaning the product, ensure that it is not connected to the mains and the appliance is completely cold. This product can only be cleaned by hand using a soft cloth moistened with mild soap. No abrasive cleaning products, abrasive brushes, solvents, benzene, thinner or alcohol may be used to clean the device under any circumstances. Do not submerge the device or any of its parts in water in order to clean them. Do not reuse the device until it is completely dry.

PRODUCT DISPOSAL

Do not dispose of the product at the end of its shelf-life. Contact the organic collection centre closest to your home in accordance with the waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) Directive 2012/19/EU to contribute to the protection of the environment.

Request detailed information regarding their current methods of disposing of packaging and scrappage of used devices from your distributor.

Do not dispose of this product in the bin, instead going to the electrical and electronic waste collection centre closest to your home.

B&B TRENDS, SL. guarantees compliance of this product for the use for which it is intended for a period of two years. In the case of breakdown during the term of this warranty, users are entitled to repair or else the replacement of the product at no charge if the former is unavailable, unless one of these options proves impossible to fulfill or is disproportionate. In this case, you can then opt for a reduction in price or cancellation of the sale, which must be dealt with directly with the sales vendor. This also covers replacement of spare parts provided that the product has been used according to

the recommendations specified in this manual for both cases, and has not been tampered with by any third party that is not authorised by B&B TRENDS, SL. The warranty will not cover any parts subject to wear and tear. This warranty does not affect your rights as a consumer in accordance with the provisions in Directive 1999/44/EC for member states of the European Union.

USE OF WARRANTY

Customers must contact a B&B TRENDS, SL., authorised Technical Service for repair of the product. Since any tampering of the same by anyone not authorised by B&B TRENDS, SL., or the careless or improper use of the same shall render this warranty null and void. The warranty must be fully completed and delivered along with the receipt or delivery docket for the effective exercise of rights under this warranty.

This warranty should be retained by the user as well as the invoice, receipt or the delivery docket to facilitate the exercise of these rights. For technical service and after-sales care outside the Spanish territory, please submit your query to the point of sale where you purchased the item.
