2. Safe use

CAUTION! Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury or death.

2.1. Electrical safety

a) The device plug must fit into the socket. Do not modify the plug in any way. Original plugs and matching sockets reduce the risk of electric shock. b) Avoid touching earthed items such as tubes, radiators, heaters and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed and touches the device exposed to direct rain, wet floor and humid environment. If water penetrates into the device, there is an increased risk of damage to the device and electric shock. c) Do not touch the device with wet or damp hands. d) Do not use the cable in a wrong way. Never use it to carry the device or to pull the plug out of the socket. Keep the cable away from heat sources, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or tangled cables increase the risk of electric shock. e) If you cannot avoid using the device in a wet environment, use a residual current device (RCD). a) Do not operate the device if you are tired, ill or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication which might impair your ability to operate the device. b) The device is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with reduced mental, sensory or intellectual functions or lack of experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have been given instructions by them on how to operate the device. c) The device may only be operated by persons who are physically fit, capable of handling the device and who have been adequately trained, who have read these instructions and have received training in health and safety. d) Be careful and use common sense when operating the device. A short moment of distraction during operation may lead to serious personal injury. e) To prevent accidental start-up, make sure the switch is in the OFF position before connecting the device to the power source. f) Do not overestimate your capabilities. Maintain body balance at all times during operation. This allows for better control of the device in unexpected situations. g) The device is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.

2.4. Safe use of the device

Hot steam causes skin burns! o) Never use the device with an empty water tank. p) It is forbidden to fill the water tank. q) Do not use the device in a horizontal position, always hold the nozzle upwards - if condensed steam cannot flow back into the tank, water drips from the nozzle, etc. r) It is forbidden to hold clothes with your hands during ironing - risk of skin burns. s) Always disconnect the device from the power supply when emptying the water tank or refilling it. t) Take special care when emptying or refilling the water tank. There is a risk of skin burns. u) It is forbidden to iron clothes on the body.

v) Caution: the steam supply hose and nozzle become hot during use. Take care to avoid skin burns.

3. Rules of use

The device is designed for ironing clothes with steam.

The user is responsible for any damage caused by improper use.

3.2. Preparation for work

LOCATION OF THE DEVICE

The ambient temperature should not exceed 40°C and the relative humidity should not exceed 85%. Position the device in a way that allows for good air circulation. Maintain a minimum distance of 10 cm from any wall. Keep the device away from any hot surfaces. Always operate the device on a level, stable, clean, fireproof and dry surface and out of the reach of children and persons with reduced mental, sensory and intellectual abilities. Position the device in such a way that the power supply plug can be reached at any time. Make sure that the device's power supply corresponds to the data on the rating plate!

ASSEMBLY OF THE DEVICE

Caution: It is forbidden to assemble the device when it is connected to the power supply or is still hot after previous use.

  1. Assemble the telescopic tube. Connect the tubes by turning them clockwise.

3.3. Working with the device

  1. Place the garment to be ironed on the hanger (not included).

  1. Remove the water tank from the device, unscrew the cap and fill the tank with clean, cold water. It is forbidden to pour hot water into the tank. Close the cap and place the tank back in the device.

  1. Connect the device to the power supply. Switch it on by setting the switch I/O in position "I".
  2. The device will begin to heat up and will be ready for use in approx. 60 seconds.
  3. It is not forbidden to fill the water tank when the device is switched on. To refill the tank, switch off the device and let it cool down to avoid skin contact with hot steam and heated parts.
  4. To switch off the device, set the I/O switch to the "O" position and disconnect from the power supply.
  5. When you have finished working with the device and allowed it to cool down, always empty the residual water from the tank to avoid limescale deposits.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

  • Start ironing with steam by testing on a small area of the fabric in the least visible place.
  • It is forbidden to add detergents, fragrances etc. to the water tank. It may damage the device.
  • Avoid kinking the steam hose.

- Always try to straighten the garment on the hanger as much as possible by hand before ironing.

- Depending on the garment to be ironed perform vertical or horizontal movements. Follow the clothing manufacturer's recommendations.

• Garments of considerable thickness require longer steam ironing.

- Be especially careful when ironing garments decorated with stones, sequins etc., as the hot steam may damage them.

- It is forbidden to refill the tank with hot water! Filling with hot water may deform the tank.

- Always switch off the device when not in use, before moving to another location and when refilling/emptying the water tank.

- Check the water level in the water tank. Do not switch on the device with an empty water tank.

- It is recommended to wear a protective glove when it is necessary to hold clothes during ironing.

- It is recommended to use distilled or demineralised water. Using tap water may cause limescale build-up in the device, which results in reduced performance.

3.4. Cleaning and maintenance

a) Before cleaning, adjustment or replacement of accessories, and when the device is not in use, pull the power supply plug and let the device cool down completely. b) Use only non-corrosive agents for cleaning the surface. c) After each cleaning, all components should be well dried before the device is used again. d) Store the device in a dry and cool place protected from moisture and direct sunlight. e) Do not spray the device with a stream of water and do not immerse it in water. f) Ensure that no water enters through the ventilation openings in the housing. g) Clean the ventilation openings with a brush and compressed air. h) Regularly inspect the device for technical failure and damage. i) Always empty the water tank after using the device to prevent limescale build-up.
