How to connect the camera to my smartphone?

Download the Motorola Nursery app from the App Store or Google Play. Create an account, then follow the app instructions to pair the camera via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.

What to do if the camera LED flashes red?

The red flashing means the camera is not paired with the app. Make sure your phone is connected to the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and restart the pairing process in the app.

Can I use the camera without an Internet connection?

No, the camera requires a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection to work with the app. An Internet connection is required for remote viewing.

How to mount the camera on the wall?

Use the included wall mount. Drill two holes, insert wall plugs, screw in the screws, then hang the bracket. Attach the camera to the bracket with the provided screw.

Is night vision automatic?

Yes, the camera automatically switches to night mode when it detects low light thanks to its light sensor. The infrared LEDs then turn on.

How to clean the camera?

Use a soft, dry cloth. Never use chemical or abrasive products. Unplug the device before cleaning.

What to do if the Wi-Fi connection is unstable?

Check that your router is nearby (ideally in the same room). Reduce interference by moving the camera away from other electronic devices. Restart the router and the camera.

Is the camera compatible with my smartphone?

The app requires Android 7.0 or higher, or iOS 11.0 or higher. Make sure your device is up to date and connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

Can I add multiple cameras to the app?

Yes, the Motorola Nursery app allows adding multiple cameras. Follow the same pairing procedure for each additional camera.

What to do if the power adapter is lost?

Use exclusively a 5V/1000mA power adapter. Contact Motorola customer service to obtain a replacement adapter.

1. Plug the DC plug of the power adapter into the power socket on the rear of the camera unit and plug the other end of the AC adapter into the wall socket.
2. The camera unit turns on and the power indicator lights up in blue first and changes to red flashing if not paired to the Motorola Nursery App.

WARNING

Strangulation Hazard. Children have STRANGLED in cords. Keep this cord out of the reach of children (more than 1 meter or 3 feet away). Do not remove the tags from the AC Adapters. Only use the AC Adapters provided.

Use only the supplied power adapter (DC5V / 1000 mA).

1. Mark the positions of 2 screw holes on the wall. Drill a screw hole at each marking.
2. Install the supplied wall anchors into 2 screw holes on the wall.
3. Insert the supplied wall mounting screws into the wall anchors.
4. Fix and fasten the underside of the baby (camera) unit and the wall mount bracket with the supplied separate screw.
5. Hang the wall mount bracket on the wall mounting screws on the wall.
6. Adjust the camera manually if necessary.

Note

The pack includes a power adapter with a longer cord which is beneficial for wall mount application, where your wall socket is far from the camera.

4. View the baby through your device

Minimum system requirement of your device

• Android™ System: Version 7.0 or above
• iPhone® iOS: Version 11.0 or above
• High Speed 2.4GHz (Wi-Fi®): At least 0.6 Mbps upload bandwidth per camera (you can test your internet speed on this site: http://www.speedtest.net).

Connect to internet via Wi-Fi ^® router

View your camera from any compatible device remotely

1. Scan the QR code with your smart device and download the Motorola Nursery App from App Store for iOS devices or from Google Play™ Store for Android™ devices.
2. Install the App on your device.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to run and sign up or log in to the App.
4. Open the Motorola Nursery App on your compatible smartphone.
5. Follow the in-app instructions to create your account and connect the camera to your device.

Note

If the connection is lost, check your Wi-Fi® settings and reconnect your Wi-Fi® if necessary. Ensure the camera unit is switched on. Wait for a few minutes for the camera unit to reconnect with your device.
