How to turn on the baby unit?

Press and hold the power button (C) to turn the baby unit on or off.

How to charge the parent unit?

Insert the provided rechargeable Ni-MH batteries into the compartment, then plug the AC adapter into the DC jack and a power outlet. The first charge must last at least 16 hours.

What to do if the units are not connected?

Check that both units are turned on and near each other. The power/connection LED flashes if the link is lost. Remove obstacles and bring the units closer.

How to adjust the volume on the parent unit?

Use the scroll up button (F) to increase volume and scroll down (I) to decrease. Press and hold the down button to mute.

How to use the two-way conversation function?

On the parent unit, press and hold the Back / two-way talk button (H) to speak to the baby. Release to listen.

How to activate the night light on the baby unit?

Briefly press the power button on the parent unit (G) to turn the baby unit's night light (yellow LED) on or off.

How to play lullabies?

From the parent unit's main menu, select the lullaby option. You can choose a lullaby to play on the baby unit. The lullaby icon lights up on the screen.

What does the sound alert icon mean?

The sound alert (Vox) is activated from the menu. When activated, the icon is steady. If sound is detected, the icon flashes and the parent unit emits an alarm.

How to know if the parent unit batteries are low?

The battery icon on the screen indicates the level. When batteries are low, the icon flashes or shows a low level. Recharge the parent unit immediately.

Can I use standard batteries instead of rechargeable batteries?

No, only use the rechargeable Ni-MH batteries (2 x AAA) provided with your PIP11 to avoid malfunction.

1. Plug the DC plug of the power adaptor into the DC jack on the rear of the baby unit and plug the other end of the AC adaptor into the AC power outlet.
2. Switch on the AC power.

WARNING

Strangulation Hazard. Children have STRANGLED in cords. Keep this cord out of the reach of children (more than 1 meter or 3 feet away). Do not remove the tags from the AC Adapters. Only use the AC Adapters provided.

1. Lift up the battery cover to remove it from the the parent unit.
2. Insert the rechargeable Ni-MH battery cells supplied. Note the '+' and '-' markings inside the battery compartment and insert in the correct direction.
3. Slide the battery cover back into place.

Warning! Use only the approved rechargeable Ni-MH battery cells (2 x AAA Ni-MH rechargeable batteries) supplied with your PIP11.

1. Plug the DC plug of the power adaptor into the DC jack on the side of the parent unit and plug the other end of the AC adaptor into the AC power outlet.
2. Switch on the AC power. The parent unit turns on.
3. When charging the batteries for the first time, charge for at least 16 hours continuously.
4. When the parent unit is fully charged, Will appear steadily on the display.

Note

If is shown on the display, recharge the parent unit before using it again. When charging, will scroll on the display.

3. Display icons

Turns on when the parent unit is connected and within range. Flashes when the parent unit is not connected and out of range.

Turns on when listening to lullabies.

Turns on when the sound alert is activated. Flashes when the sound alert is triggered.

Turns on when the speaker volume is off.

Turns on when the night light is on.

Indicates the current battery level.

Note

If you do not press any button on the parent unit for 30 seconds, the display will automatically return to standby.
