Operation
Note
When using the steam brush for the first time, you may notice a slight amount of smoke and hear some noises caused by the expanding plastics. This is completely normal and will subside after a short time. We also recommend running the garment steamer over a cloth before using it for the first time.
Ironing glove
The ironing glove could also be described as a “mobile mini ironing board” - and that is precisely its purpose. If you are right-handed, pull the ironing glove over your left hand while holding the garment steamer in your right hand. If you are left-handed, it works the other way round. Move the glove behind the garment to be ironed while ironing it with the garment steamer. The ironing glove is heat-resistant and protects you from burns.
Anti-scaling system
A special resin filter in the water tank softens the water and prevents limescale deposits on the heating element. The resin filter is permanent and does not need to be replaced. Only use tap water. Distilled and demineralised
water renders the anti-scaling system ineffective as it changes its physical and chemical properties.
Do not use any chemical additives, fragrances or descaling agents. Failure to do so will invalidate the guarantee.
Fig. 1 Press the water tank lock button and remove the water tank from the housing. Open the filler opening. Fill the tank with water, taking care not to exceed the maximum fill level of 250 ml. Close the filler opening again.
Fig. 2 Place the water tank back on the housing.
Fig. 3 Attach the brush attachment to the front of the appliance until you hear it click into place. Press the rear part of the brush and it will automatically detach from the housing.
Fig. 4 Attach the steam protection attachment to the front of the appliance until you hear it click into place. This allows you to achieve drier ironing effects. Press the rear part of the steam protection attachment and it will automatically detach from the housing.
Fig. 5 Insert the mains plug into a suitable socket.
Fig. 6 Set the main switch I/O to I. The garment steamer starts to heat up and the power LED flashes blue for about 20 seconds. When the heating process is complete, the power LED lights up blue.
Fig. 7 ① Press the steam button to iron with steam. ② If you require constant steam, press the steam lock button downwards.
Note
The power LED flashes blue during heating. If you press the steam button at this time, no steam can be generated. Steam will only be released by the electronic control once the heating process is complete.
Automatic switch-off
If the steam brush is switched on and the water pump does not work for more than 8 minutes, the appliance switches off automatically. In this case, the blue power LED goes out and flashes red instead. Press the steam button to allow the appliance to heat up again (the LED flashes blue) and to restart (the LED lights up blue).
Cleaning and care
Before cleaning the steam brush, you must disconnect it from mains power.
Deposits or starch residues on the heating element can be wiped off with a damp cloth or a non-abrasive liquid cleaner.
The plastic parts can be cleaned with a damp cloth and then wiped with a dry cloth.
You can wash the ironing glove carefully in warm soapy water. Allow it to dry completely afterwards. Do not dry it in direct sunlight.

Warning!
Do not immerse electrical parts of the product in water or other liquids during cleaning. Do not hold the product under running water.

Warning!
Never use solvents, abrasive cleaners, hard brushes, metal or sharp objects for cleaning. Solvents are harmful to health and attack the plastic parts; abrasive cleaners and aids scratch the surface.
Storage
Fill the tank with clean water and shake it carefully. Then pour the water out of the tank. Allow the steam brush to cool down completely. Roll up the power cable.
English
Ironing tips
To prevent silk, wool or synthetic garments from becoming shiny, iron them inside out. To prevent velvet garments from shining, iron only in the direction of the fibres. The more laundry is washed in the washing machine, the more creased the garments become. Many fabrics are easier to iron if they are not completely dry. Silk, for example, should always be ironed damp.
Troubleshooting
If faults occur during operation, switch the garment steamer off and on again. If the problems cannot be rectified, contact your specialist dealer.
