Once the screws are removed, lift and close the glass in an upright position. Remove the screws holding the hinge to the glass bracket hardware. Once removed, the glass can be lifted from the firebox and placed on a soft, non-abrasive surface.

natural_image
Technical illustration showing a mechanical assembly with a tool and a close-up of a server rack (no text or symbols present)4.5 trim installation
There are 2 options for the trim installation depending on the Finishing material and personal preference for the finished look. A trim less installation allows for the finished material to butt against the finishing edge of the fireplace to create a minimalist exposed surface of the fireplace. Or the 2" trim can be installed to hide the rough-cut edge of the finishing material and allow for a bigger finished look. Trims are installed after the glass has been secured in an upright position.
Trim-less Installation
- For a trim-less installation place the bottom cover over the glass hinge location which will be held in place by magnets.
- Identify the left and right side panels and align with the corresponding sides of the fireplace. The side panels have tabs at the bottom which will fit into slots of the bottom panel. Once the tabs are inserted push the panel against the side of the firebox from which it will be then held in place by magnets.
