The following are important notes on the installation, use and maintenance; save this instruction manual for future reference; use the equipment only as specified in this guide; any other use is considered improper and dangerous; therefore, the manufacturer cannot be held responsible in the event of damages caused by improper, incorrect or unreasonable use.
Before use, ensure the equipment is undamaged; if in doubt, do not attempt to use it and contact the authorized service center; do not leave packing materials (i.e. plastic bags, polystyrene foam, nails, staples, etc.) within the reach of children as they are potential sources of danger; always remember that they must be separately collected. Make sure that the rating information given on the technical label are compatible with those of the electricity grid; the installation must be performed according to the manufacturer's instructions considering the maximum power of the appliance as shown on the label; an incorrect installation may cause damage to people, animals or things, for which the manufacturer cannot be considered responsible thereof. If it is necessary to use adapters, multiple sockets or electrical extensions, use only those that comply with current safety standards; in any case do not exceed the power consumption limits indicated on the electrical adapter and / or extensions, as well as the maximum power shown on multiple adaptor.
Do not leave the unit plugged; better to remove the plug from the mains when the device is not in use. Always disconnect from power supply if you leave it unattended.
Cleaning operations should be carried out after unplugging the unit. If unit is out of order and you do not want to fix it, it must be made inoperable by cutting power cord. Do not allow the power cord to get closer to sharp objects or in contact with hot surfaces; do not pull it to disconnect the plug.
- Do not use the appliance in the event of damage to the power cord, plug, or in case of short circuits; to repair the product only address an authorized service center.
- Do not handle or touch the appliance with wet hands or bare feet. Do not expose the appliance to harmful weather conditions such as rain, moisture, frost, etc.. Always store it in a dry place.

Since temperatures are perceived differently by different people, this device should be used with CAUTION. Hold the appliance exclusively to grip surfaces intended to be touched.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Use the product only for the purpose for which it was designed. Place the unit on a stable surface.
Do not use the apliance for more than 40 hours in a row.
After a course of 40 hours, it is necessary to turn off the appliance and unplug it from the power oulet.
Always use the lid when the product is operating.
WARNING : The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating. Handle with care.
Never leave the appliance unattended while it is running. Once finished using appliance, unplug it and wait for the complete cooling of each part before storing or cleaning. Do not immerse in water or other liquids. In any case avoid water or other liquids sliding on it. When the unit is running, leave enough space on either side of the product.
Do not use the oven as shelf support for objects or as place to store food, pots, containers, etc..

OPERATING
Dehydrate the food is the best and most efficient way to store food while preserving the properties nutrients. In this way, you can freely enjoy all kinds of fruits and vegetables all year round. In addition, you can use the dryer to dehydrate flowers, grass, grain, etc. ...
1) Lay the food on trays (2), without stacking it up so that the heat can circulate freely between each tray.
CAUTION! Always use the lid (1) when the product is working.
2) Turn the food dryer on rotating the knob (5).
3) The function light switches on and the product starts working: hot air flows and the trays rotate
4) At the end of process rotate the knob (5) to "OFF" to turn off the machine. Place the food in a sealed container once it has completely cooled. Disconnect the power plug.
Note: to avoid overheating, all trays must be stacked on the device, even empty ones.
Hints for use
- Before drying process, you should wash and dry foods thoroughly before hanging on trays
- Clean the food from any damaged parts or gears and remove the skins.
- Cut the food in such a way that they can be placed without difficulty on the trays.
- During the drying process, you may want to move up or down the trays if the food does not become dehydrated on a regular basis. Before proceeding, make sure you have turned off the power and unplugged the unit from the electrical outlet.
- Some foods with skin or peel need more time to dry. The best way to solve the problem is to boil for 1-2 minutes and let them cool in cold water. Place them on trays only after having carefully dried all parts.
- The drying time is affected by temperature, air humidity, type of food, size and quantity.
Note: The drying times shown in this user's manual are indicative.
Storage
- Thoroughly wash and dry the container before storing food.
- It is recommended to store dried food in a glass bottle with metal cover.
- Store food in a dry place at a temperature of 5-20 °C and away from direct sunlight.
- In the first week, ensure that the foods are dehydrated completely: if this is not the case, subjecting them to a new drying cycle.
CAUTION! Wait for complete cooling down of dehydrated food before storing in a sealed container.
GENERAL COOKING TABLES
The appliance is equipped with a thermostat to control dehydrate temperature, from 40 to 70°C.
Different food requires different temperature for best result:

2. Vegetables
It is recommended to boil for 3-5 minutes, some vegetables such as beans, broccoli, asparagus, potatoes etc. . . Let them cool and dry thoroughly before drying. If you want to add a little flavor to the beans or asparagus, you can add a bit of lemon juice for 2 minutes before boiling.

3. Meat and fish
The drying of meat and fish takes about 2-8 hours. Before drying the meat or fish, it is necessary to cook or marinate the food. It is recommended to choose lean meats to be dried, as these remain softer.
The meat of poultry and pork should be cleaned, cut and then cooked (steam, pan-fried, baked or fried) before being dried. Similarly, boil the fish or put it in the oven (200 °C for 20 minutes) before drying it.
CLEANING - Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet and allow the complete cooling down of each part before starting the cleaning operations.
Do not immerse the unit in water; do not leave it under the stream of tap water. In any case, avoid water or other liquids sliding on the cooking surfaces. Lid and trays can be washed as normal dishes.
Clean the main body with a damp cloth.
