- If battery fluid gets into the eyes, it must be washed out immediately! Seek medical treatment immediately! There is a risk of losing your eyesight.
- Do not short-circuit the battery. Contacts must not be touched with conductive materials. Do not store the device with conductive materials.
- Do not allow any liquid to come into contact with the battery. A short circuit causes a very strong current flow and can lead to overheating or burns.
- Do not store the power tool or the battery in places where the temperature exceeds 50°C!
- Never attempt to burn the battery, even if it is damaged. The battery may explode in a fire!
- Ensure that the battery is never dropped or subjected to any kind of impact. Do not use a battery that has been dropped or shaken.
Notes on battery life
- Always switch off the power tool if you notice a drop in performance. Charge the battery afterwards.
• Overcharging batteries will shorten their service life. Do not charge a fully charged battery. - Always allow the battery to cool down before charging it. Charge the battery at a room temperature between 10^ and 40^ .

6. Commissioning
Remove the product from the packaging and remove all packaging material. Fully charge the device before use. To do this, use the USB charging cable supplied and connect it to a suitable DC power supply and the charging socket on the device.
Press and hold the multifunction button for about 3 seconds to switch the device on or off. At the time of switching on, all symbols are displayed on the screen. The device then switches to normal operating mode. When using the charging cable, the battery inside the device is charged.
If the power supply is interrupted, the device switches to battery operation or it can be operated directly with the built-in battery. A fully charged battery lasts about 3 days.
6.1 Battery
You can check the battery status on the display at any time by looking at the battery status symbol.
Charge the battery when no more bars appear in the battery symbol and the battery symbol is displayed continuously while the battery is charging. When the battery is fully charged, all 3 bars are displayed continuously.
7. Calibration of the CO2 concentration
Due to transport, vibration, ageing and other reasons, the detection accuracy of the sensor may be reduced. Deviations are corrected by calibration. The device has an automatic and a manual calibration option. It is recommended to use the automatic calibration. Alternatively, you can carry out manual calibration. Both methods are described below.
7.1 CO2 alarm / Automatic calibration / Alarm sound
Press the multifunction button twice in quick succession to set the carbon dioxide alarm function.
- The currently set alarm value appears on the display. The last digit starts to flash.
-
Now set the last digit of the alarm value by briefly pressing the multifunction button. Confirm by pressing the multifunction button for 2 seconds. The penultimate digit starts to flash.
-
Set the penultimate digit of the alarm value and confirm again by pressing the multifunction button for 2 seconds. The second digit starts to flash.
- Set the second digit of the alarm value and confirm again by pressing the multifunction button for 2 seconds. The first digit starts to flash.
- Set the first digit of the alarm value and confirm again by pressing the multifunction button for 2 seconds. After 15 seconds of inactivity, the device saves the currently set alarm value and switches back to the start screen.
- You can then set the automatic calibration.
As soon as the CO2 concentration exceeds the set value, an alarm signal sounds. If you want to switch off the alarm, press the multifunction button.
Automatic calibration
After you have set the last digit of the alarm value, „C-ON“ or „C-OF“ appears on the display. You can choose between these two setting options by briefly pressing the multifunction button. We recommend switching on the automatic calibration „C-ON“. Confirm your entry by pressing the multifunction button for 2 seconds.
Make sure that the sensor is in an environment where the atmospheric level corresponds to that outdoors (approx. 400 ppm) during this time.
The automatic calibration function is suitable for office, home and other non-weather environments. It is not suitable for agricultural greenhouses, farms, warehouses and other locations.

8. Manual calibration of the CO2 concentration
During calibration, the product must be positioned in an environment with a CO2 concentration equal to the outside air (approx. 400 ppm) to ensure that the CO2 concentration in the environment is stable.
Press and hold the multifunction button for about 8 seconds when the device is switched off until „-CAL“ appears on the display to enter manual calibration mode. A 200-second timer then runs down.
The device is calibrated. After the countdown is complete, the device switches on.
Note: During the calibration of the carbon dioxide value, you must place the device in a well-ventilated area and ensure that nobody is in the vicinity so as not to impair the calibration effect.
9. CO2 display
| Colour Meaning | |
| Green | If the carbon dioxide concentration is 400-699 ppm, the green indicator bar flashes, indicating that the carbon dioxide concentration is at a low level. |
| Yellow | If the carbon dioxide concentration is 700-1499 ppm, the yellow bar flashes, indicating an alarm. |
| Red | If the carbon dioxide concentration is above 1500 ppm, the red indicator bar flashes in the default setting to indicate danger (depending on how high the CO2 alarm is set, an alarm will sound). |
Note: If the product resets the alarm value and the carbon dioxide concentration exceeds the alarm value, the red indicator bar starts to flash and an alarm sounds.
10. Additional notes
The update frequency is approximately 5 seconds.
Avoid vibrating the device or direct wind on the sensor during the carbon dioxide measurement, as this can lead to a deviation in the carbon dioxide measurement value.

10. Switching °C / °F
Press the multifunction button briefly to switch the temperature display between ^ C and ^ F.
