Congratulations to the purchase of this Max Music product. Please read this manual thoroughly prior to using the product in order to benefit fully from all features.
Read the manual prior to using the product. Follow the instructions in order not to invalidate the warranty. Take all precautions to avoid fire and/or electrical shock. Repairs must only be carried out by a qualified technician in order to avoid electrical shock. Keep the manual for future reference.
- Prior to using the product, please ask advice from a specialist. When the unit is switched on for the first time, some smell may occur. This is normal and will disappear after a while.
- The unit contains voltage carrying parts. Therefore do NOT open the housing.
- Do not place metal objects or pour liquids into the product. This may cause electrical shock and malfunction.
- Do not place the product near heat sources such as radiators, etc. Do not place the unit on a vibrating surface. Do not cover the ventilation holes.
- The product is not suitable for continuous use.
- Be careful with the mains lead and do not damage it. A faulty or damaged mains lead can cause electrical shock and malfunction.
- When unplugging the product from a mains outlet, always pull the plug, never the lead.
- Do not plug or unplug the unit with wet hands.
- If the plug and/or the mains lead are damaged, they need to be replaced by a qualified technician.
- If the product is damaged to such an extent that internal parts are visible, do NOT plug the unit into a mains outlet and DO NOT switch the product on. Contact your dealer. Do NOT connect the product to a rheostat or dimmer.
- To avoid fire and shock hazard, do not expose the product to rain and moisture.
- All repairs should be carried out by a qualified technician only.
- Connect the product to an earthed mains outlet (220-240Vac/50Hz) protected by a 10-16A fuse.
- During a thunderstorm or if the product will not be used for a longer period of time, unplug it from the mains. The rule is: Unplug it from the mains when not in use.
- If the product has not been used for a longer period of time, condensation may occur. Let the unit reach room
temperature before you switch it on. Never use the product in humid rooms or outdoors.
- During operation, the housing may become hot.
- To prevent accidents in companies, you must follow the applicable guide lines and follow the instructions.
- Do not repeatedly switch the product on and off. This shortens the life time.
- Keep the unit out of the reach of children. Do not leave the unit unattended.
- Do not use cleaning sprays to clean switches. The residues of these sprays cause deposits of dust and grease. In case of malfunction, always seek advice from a specialist.
- Only operate the product with clean hands.
- Do not force the controls.
- If the product has fallen, always have it checked by a qualified technician before you switch the product on again.
- Do not use chemicals to clean the unit. They damage the varnish. Only clean the product with a dry cloth.
- Keep away from electronic equipment that may cause interference.
- Only use original spares for repairs, otherwise serious damage and/or dangerous radiation may occur.
- Switch the product off prior to unplugging it from the mains and/or other equipment. Unplug all leads and cables prior to moving the product.
- Make sure that the mains lead cannot be damaged when people walk on it. Check the mains lead before every use for damages and faults!
- The mains voltage is 220-240Vac/50Hz. Check if power outlet match. If you travel, make sure that the mains voltage of the country is suitable for this product.
- Keep the original packing material so that you can transport the product in safe conditions

UNPACKING INSTRUCTION
CAUTION! Carefully unpack the box upon receipt. Check the contents to ensure that all parts are present and have been received in good condition. Notify the shipper immediately and retain packaging material if any parts appear damaged from shipping or the package itself shows signs of mishandling. Save the package and all packaging materials. If the product must be returned, it is important that the product is returned in the original factory box and packaging. If the device has been exposed to drastic temperature fluctuation (e.g. after transportation), do not switch it on immediately. The arising condensation water might damage your device. Leave the device switched off until it has reached room temperature.
POWERSUPPLY
The label on the back/under side of the product indicates the mains voltage to which it must be connected. Check that the mains voltage corresponds to this. Any other voltage than the one indicated may cause irreparable damage to the unit. The unit must also be connected directly to the mains voltage and no dimmer or adjustable power supply may be used.

Always connect the device to a protected circuit (circuit breaker or fuse). Make sure the device has an appropriate electrical ground to avoid the risk of electrocution or fire.
ASSEMBLY PIANO FURNITURE STAND
- Use screws (TA4*50) to fix the angle iron on the left and right stand board separately.
- Fix the nut screws into the four holes of connection board.
- Use the screws (TM6*50) to fix the connection board with the left and right stand board, then the stand is assembled ready.
- Put the piano body on the wooden stand and use the screws (TM6*20) to fix it.

Rotate the [Master Vol button to raise or lower the master volume.
2. TEMPO
Press the [Tempo v] or [Tempo ∧] button to raise or lower the tempo of Style, Beat or Demo. The default value of tempo is 120. Press both simultaneously to reset to default value.
3. ACCOMP VOLUME
There are 9 levels style accompaniment volume, the system default is 07, by pressing [v/ʌ] key accompaniment volume can be adjusted. Press both simultaneously to reset to default value.
4. INTRO/ENDING
Press the [Intro/Ending] button to start play the prelude, then turn to regular Style to continue. During the play of the Style, press the [Intro/Ending] button to start playing a code for ending.
5. SYNC
Press the [Sync] button to enter the Sync function before the Style was played. Press any key of 19 keys in left hand tot start Style playback. The Beat point shines on the LCD. The display shows the current tone or Style's. If the chord function has started, press the corresponding key in 19 keys chord area, the auto chord starts. Press the [Sync] button again to exit this function.
6. FILL IN
Press the [FILL-IN] button to add an interlude to the Style. The fill played is determined by accompaniment style selected. After the fill, the selected accompaniment Style will continue playing.
7. VARIATION
At the mode of style, press [Variation] button, the piano will play the style with an style of variation. Press [Variation] button to exit this function.
8. START/STOP
Press the [Start/Stop] button to play the Style, press the [Play/Stop] button again to exit this function.
9. SINGLE CHORD 1
Press the [Style] button then press the [Single chord 1] button to start single finger accompaniment. Press any key of the left 19 keys to begin Style. Press different key on left keyboard to select different chord. One key you press will always determine the root of the chord you played. Press the [Start/Stop] button to end this function.
10. SINGLE CHORD 2
Press the [Style] button then press the [Single chord 2] button to start single finger accompaniment. Press any key of the left 19 keys to begin Style. Press different key on left keyboard to select different chord. One key you press will always determine the root of the chord you played. Press the [Start/Stop] button to end this function.
11. FINGER CHORD
Press the [Style] button then press the [Finger chord] button to start fingered accompaniment. Press any key of the left 19 keys to begin Style. Press a different key on left keyboard to select different chord. Press the [Start/Stop] button to end the effect.
12. CHORD CLOSE
Press [Chord close] to stop chord accompaniment while style continues to play.
13. BASS CHORD
Press the [Bass Chord] button to create an effective of heavy bass, press the [Bass Chord] button again to exit the function.
14. ACCORDION
The digital piano designed this function specially. It can let you choose the accordion mode quickly when at other status. Press the [Accordion] button, it can enter or exit the accordion performance directly
15. REC
Press the [Rec] button and you can record the music you play.
16. PLAY
Press the [Play] button to playback recorded notes or styles.
17. PROG
Press the [Program] button to enter the Style programming mode.
18. PRC
Press the [PRC] button. The Beat voice be produced. Then each key correspond to each percussion. There are total 61 kinds of percussion. Press [PRC] button again, to exit the beat function
19. METRONOME
There are 4 kinds of metronomes stored on the keyboard: 1/4 beat, 2/4 beat, 3/4 beat and 4/4 beat. Press the [Metronome] button once to set the rhythm at 1/4 beat, twice for 2/4 beat, etc. press for fifth time to cancel function.
20. TRANSPOSE
Press the [Transpose v/A] button to transpose the tone of the notes. The transpose may be adjusted from “-6” to “+6”. Pressing the two buttons simultaneously resets transpose to the default value.
21. GUITAR
The digital piano designed this function specially. It can let you choose the guitar mode quickly when at other status. Press the [Guitar] button, it can enter or exit the guitar performance directly.
22. LCD DISPLAY
Displays current mode, notes to play, style, tempo, etc.
23. PIANO
The digital piano designed this function specially. It can let you choose the piano mode quickly when at other status. Press the [Piano] button, it can enter or exit the piano performance directly.
24. STYLE
This piano has 300 kinds of style for your choice. For style table, please refer to the Appendix II. Press the [Style] button. The default style is "000". You can select the style by pressing the number [0-9] buttons directly or press [+/-].
25. TONE
This piano has 300 kinds of tones for your choice. For style table, please refer to the Appendix I Press the [Tone] button and you can select tone by pressing the number [0-9] number or [+/-] button.
26. DEMO
This keyboard has 80 stored demo songs [000 to 079) for your selection (Appendix III). Press [Demo] and the default demo song will start to play. During playing process, press [Demo] to play the next demonstration song. Press [Start/Stop] to stop playing. During the playing process, you can also press the [0-9] number or [+ / -] to select other demonstration songs. The selected demonstration song will then play repeatedly.

Press to enter the one key teaching function.

Press to enter the following teaching function.
29. ENSEMBLE
Press to enter the ensemble teaching function.
30. NUM-PAD
Press [+/-] or [0 -9] in numeric group buttons to select accompaniment.
31. DOUBLE
Press the [Double] button, the digital piano enters the mode of dual voice. Namely each note is composed of two voices. The first voice is the voice before you pressed [Double] button, and the second voice is the selected voice after pressed [Double] button.
32. SPLIT
Press the [Split] button, from the left 24th button, the keyboard forms left and right two tone keyboards. In 'tone' mode, press number or [+/-] button to adjust voice for right zone keyboards. Press the [Split] button again to exit this function. The keyboard resume to the voice of low key area.
33. SUSTAIN
Press [Sustain] and the notes played on the keyboard will be decayed gradually after lifting your finger from the keyboard. Press this button again and the sustain effect will be disenabled.
34. VIBRATION
Press the [Vibrato] and the vibrato effect will be activated. Press this button again and the vibrato effect will be disenabled.
35. TOUCH
This piano is touch keyboard. When the piano is open, touch function starts automatically. When you play keyboard with different force, the piano will play different size volume. Press the [TOUCH] button, to disable the touch function. Press [TOUCH] button once again to restart touch function.
36. MEMORY
This piano has panel registration memory function, it can be used for saving your most favourite setting as to the setting can be tuned out easily and promptly when you need it. After you have adjusted the tone, style and tempo, press the [Memory] button, and press any of the [M1-M4] button, then the current tone, style and tempo will be recorded. Press any of the [M1-M4] button that had been recorded in previous to delete.

Socket for plugging in the supplied 9V adapter.
40. HEADPHONE JACK
When connecting headphones to the PHONES/OUTPUT port, the loudspeaker will be disenabled automatically. You can perform without disturbing others.

This piano has built-in speaker system. It can be connected with other external amplifier or speaker system. First turn off the power of piano and the external equipment, then insert one end of stereo audio cable into LINE IN or AUX IN jack of other hi-fi equipment and insert the other end into LINE OUT jack in the rear panel of the piano.
42. SUSTAIN PEDAL JACK
The function of sustain can produce natural sustain by stepping upon sustain pedal when you perform. Please insert the plug of sustain pedal into SUS PEDAL jack. You can open/close the sustain function through the sustain pedal plug.
43. USB PORT
Connect the keyboard to another MIDI compatible device. Transfer information with computer in both direction such as you can store the music that you played on his keyboard to the computer.

Use the special power adapter that is equipped with this electronic keyboard or a power adaptor with DC 9V out voltage 500m A. Insert the DC plug or power adaptor into the DC 9V power jack in the rear panel of the electronic keyboard, insert the other end into Main socket, turn on power switch and start performance.
RECORDING
- Press [REC] button to enter recording model. You can hear metronome sounds and the default tempo is 120. Now press any button or drum key to start recording. The maximum recording quantity is 180. When the maximum quantity is full, metronome sound will stop and recording cannot be continued. Every time you press this button, the memory in previous recorded will be cleared and the piano will enter into the recording model again.
- Press [PLAY] button to play the recorded notes.
- Press [PROG] button to enter into style programming mode, press keyboard to program a paragraph of style. This edited style can record 32pcs drum points at the most. Press [PLAY] button to play the edited drum sound in sequence, forming a kind of self-made style after programming is finished. The best style play effect can be got by adjusting [TEMPO /v] buttons. Every time, you press [PROG] button, it will clear last memory and enter into programming mode again.
TEACHING FUNCTION
Intelligent Teaching: Press the [One Key], [Follow] or [Ensemble] button to enter the teaching function then press the number keys or the [ʌ/v] button to select different teaching Songs. Press the [One key] button once again to exit this function.
- One key teaching : Only there is key pressed, then the demo will be continued. Otherwise, the demo will be stopped. No matter you play correctly or not, the song will be automatically played continuously.
- Following teaching: The main part of demo will be recovered. Follow the display to play the note correctly, then play the next note which is shown automatically on display.
- Ensemble teaching: The main part of demo will be recovered, similar as Karaoke, the demo song will not be stopped, if there is no any pressing on the keyboard within 5 seconds, the main part of demo will resume to play. After learning one song, you will repeat to learn the current song. You also can choose your favourite song to learn.
