Congratulations on the purchase of your new appliance.
You have selected a high-quality product. The operating instructions are part of this product. They contain important information about safety, usage and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all operating and safety instructions. Use the product only as described and for the specified range of applications. Please also pass these operating instructions on to any future owner.
Proper use
This appliance is for facial cleansing and care only. It is suitable for daily cleansing of normal, oily and sensitive skin, as well as for applying skin care products and removing dead skin cells and skin flakes on the face.
The appliance is intended solely for personal, private use. Do not use the appliance on animals. It is not intended for use in medical/therapeutic or commercial fields.
It is not intended for any other purpose nor for use beyond the scope described. If you are uncertain whether the appliance is appropriate for you, please consult a physician.

The following warnings and symbols are used in these operating instructions, on the packaging and on the appliance (where applicable):

Safety information
DANGER!
- Do not perform any repairs to the appliance. All repairs must be performed by our customer service department or by a qualified specialist technician.
▶ Only open the housing of the appliance to replace the batteries. There are no parts inside the appliance that require user maintenance. In addition, this will invalidate the warranty.
▶ Switch off the appliance after each use and before cleaning it.
▶ Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids!
▶ Never reach for the appliance if it has fallen into water.
- Do not use the appliance while taking a bath or shower. Do not store or keep the appliance in places from where it can fall into the bath tub, sink or other containers filled with water or other liquids.
▶ Do not use the appliance if the accessories are defective, if the appliance is not working properly or after it has been dropped accidentally.
WARNING!
This appliance may be used by children aged 8 over and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they are under supervision or have been told how to use of the appliance safely and are aware of the potential risks. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance tasks must not be carried out by children unless they are supervised.
Children must be supervised to make sure that they do not play with the appliance or its parts.
▶ Never leave children unattended with the packaging material. Keep children away from the packaging and the appliance. There is a risk of suffocation!
CAUTION!
▶ Never use the appliance on animals, after cosmetic surgery on the face or on parts of the body that have swelling, burns, sunburn, inflammation, eczema, wounds or cracked skin.
▶ Do not use the appliance on sensitive, movable parts of the eyes or on the lips.
▶ Never use the appliance without the brush attachment.
One application must not last longer than 20 seconds per face area without interruption. Do not treat the same area for too long or with too much force. Do not treat the same area several times in succession.
- Keep long hair away from the appliance.
▶ Only use the appliance with dry hands.
ATTENTION!
▶ Use the appliance only with the supplied accessories.
▶ Make sure that the drive shaft can move freely. Otherwise, the motor may overheat and the appliance may be damaged.
- Keep the appliance away from heat sources (radiators, ovens, etc.) and do not expose it to extreme temperature fluctuations.
- Avoid hard knocks or mechanical stress on the appliance and do not drop it.
- Moisture penetration can cause damage to the appliance. Make sure that no water can get inside the appliance. If necessary, remove the batteries and do not use the appliance again until it is completely dry.
▶ Do not use any aggressive cleaning liquids or solvents to clean the appliance. They could damage the surface.
Safety instructions for handling batteries
WARNING! Mishandling the batteries can cause fires, explosions, leakages or other hazards!
▶ Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
▶ Make sure that no one can swallow the batteries.
If a battery is swallowed, seek medical assistance immediately.
▶ Always use the stated battery type.
▶Never try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
- Remove rechargeable batteries from the appliance before recharging them.
Do not throw batteries into a fire or water.
▶ Never expose batteries to high temperatures or direct sunlight.
Never open or deform batteries.
Do not short-circuit the terminals.
- Remove depleted batteries from the appliance and dispose of them safely.
Do not use different types of batteries together or mix new batteries with used batteries.
Always ensure that the batteries are installed in the appliance with the correctly aligned polarity.
▶ If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period, remove the batteries.
▶ Check the condition of the batteries at regular intervals. Leaking batteries can cause injuries as well as damage to the appliance.
▶ Always use protective gloves when handling leaking batteries! Clean the battery and appliance contacts and the battery compartment with a dry cloth. Do not let the chemicals get into contact with your skin and mucous membranes, especially your eyes. In case of contact with chemicals, wash the affected area with plenty of water and immediately seek medical attention.

Before use
Inserting/replacing batteries
1) Pull the battery compartment cover ⑪ off the main part ⑥.
2) If necessary, remove the used batteries and insert 2 new AAA (L03) batteries into the battery compartment ⑫ according to the polarity shown in fig. 1.
3) Slide the battery compartment cover ⑪ back in so that the two arrows on the back align and the battery compartment cover ⑪ snaps into the main part ⑥ into place.

If the intensity level indicators ⑦ und ⑧ flash simultaneously, the batteries are low. Replace the batteries immediately.
Selecting/changing a brush attachment
1) Pull the brush attachment out gently from the main part ⑥.
2) Select the desired brush attachment ①/②/③/④ depending on the application required, as follows:

(i) Note:
Brush attachments ①/②/③/④ are marked with a letter to make identification easier.
3) Push the brush attachment ①/②/③/④ into the drive shaft ⑤ until it clicks into the main part ⑥.
(i) Note:
Replace the brush attachment ①/②/③/④ every 3 months, or at the latest when it feels or looks worn. New brush attachments are available as spare parts from our Service department (see section "Ordering spare parts").
Use
Switching on/off and selecting the intensity level
To switch on the appliance, press and hold the ON/OFF switch ⑨ for 1 second. The appliance starts at intensity level 1. The indicator ⑦ lights up.
To increase the intensity level, press the ON/OFF switch ⑨ again. The intensity level 2 indicators ⑧ light up.
If you press the ON/OFF switch ⑨ again, the appliance returns to intensity level 1.
To switch off the appliance, press and hold the ON/OFF switch ⑨ for 1 second. All indicators go out.
(i) Note: Select intensity level 1 for gentle cleansing of the facial skin. For deep cleansing, select intensity level 2.
Face cleansing
1) Remove your make-up if necessary and cleanse your face with lukewarm water to open the pores.
2) Wet the brush attachment ①/②/③/④ by holding it briefly under running water and put it on the main part ⑥.
3) Apply your skin care product to the damp brush attachment ①/②/③/④ or directly to the area of the face to be treated.
4) Place the brush attachment ①/②/③/④ directly on the skin and switch on the appliance. Select the desired intensity level 1 or 2 by pressing the ON/OFF switch ⑨.
5) Guide the brush attachment ①/②/③/④ onto the skin with small circular movements to treat the facial areas. Adjust the pressure depending on how sensitive your skin is.
6) Clean face areas a, b, and c one after the other (see fig. 2), avoiding the sensitive area around the eyes.

■ The appliance pauses briefly every 20 seconds to indicate when you should move on to the next part of the face.
- Do not use the appliance on the same part of the face for more than 20 seconds and do not treat the same area several times in a row.
■ Do not use the appliance on completely dry skin.
■ The appliance switches off automatically after 60 seconds.
■ After use, wash your face with lukewarm water to remove all skincare product residue and dirt particles.
Cleaning and care
⚠ WARNING! Always switch off the appliance before cleaning.
Cleaning the main part
ATTENTION!
Do not use abrasive or caustic cleaning agents to clean the appliance. They can corrode the surface and irreparably damage the appliance. Never immerse the main part ⑥ in water or other liquids.
- Clean the main part ⑥ with a moist cloth.
Cleaning the brush attachments
ATTENTION!
Do not use a hair dryer to dry the brush attachments ①/②/③/④.
- Clean the brush attachments ①/②/③/④ after each use to prevent skin care product residue or dirt from accumulating in the bristles.
■ Apply some liquid soap to the damp brush attachment ①/②/③/④ and switch on the appliance.
Now rub the brush attachment ①/②/③/④ over your palm until all dirt is removed. Then switch off the appliance.
- Rinse the brush attachment ①/②/③/④ under running water. Make sure that no water can enter the appliance (see fig 3).

■ Shake off the excess water and let the brush attachment ①/②/③/④ air dry completely.
Storage
■ Remove the batteries if you are not going to use the appliance for a long time.
■ Store the cleaned appliance and accessories in a dry and dust-free place.

The product, its packaging and the operating instructions are recyclable. They are subject to an extended manufacturer responsibility and will be collected separately.
Disposal of the appliance

This directive states that this appliance may not be disposed of in the normal household waste at the end of its useful life, but must be taken to specially set-up collection locations, recycling depots or disposal companies.
The disposal is free of charge for the user. Protect the environment and dispose of this appliance properly.
If your old appliance has stored any personal data, you are responsible for deleting it yourself before returning it.
If it is possible to do so without destroying the old appliance, remove the old batteries or rechargeable batteries before returning the appliance for disposal and take them to a separate collection point. In the case of permanently installed rechargeable batteries, you must indicate during disposal that the appliance contains a battery.

Your local community or municipal authorities can provide information on how to dispose of the worn-out product.
Disposal of the packaging

The packaging material is labelled with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with the following meanings: 1–7: plastics, 20–22: paper and cardboard, 80–98: composites.
Disposal of batteries

Batteries/rechargeable batteries may contain toxic heavy metals.
The heavy metals contained are identified by letters below the symbol:
Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
For this reason, do not dispose of batteries/rechargeable batteries in domestic waste. Take them to a specialist collection point.
Only return batteries that are fully discharged.

This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this product has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The warranty period starts on the date of purchase. Please keep your receipt in a safe place. This will be required as proof of purchase.
If any material or manufacturing fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you or refund the purchase price (at our discretion). This warranty service requires that you present the defective appliance and the proof of purchase (receipt) within the three-year warranty period, along with a brief written description of the fault and of when it occurred.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the beginning of a new warranty period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.
Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or to fragile parts which could be considered as consumable parts such as switches, batteries or parts made of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used or improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the product regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions that are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against must be avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes. The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use of force and modifications / repairs which have not been carried out by one of our authorised Service centres.
Warranty claim procedure
To ensure quick processing of your case, please observe the following instructions:
■ Please have the till receipt and the item number (IAN) 436012_2304 available as proof of purchase.
■ You will find the item number on the type plate on the product, an engraving on the product, on the front page of the operating instructions (below left) or on the sticker on the rear or bottom of the product.
If functional or other defects occur, please contact the service department listed either by telephone or by e-mail.
- You can return a defective product to us free of charge to the service address that will be provided to you. Ensure that you enclose the proof of purchase (till receipt) and information about what the defect is and when it occurred.
