4. Installation and Assembly

Take the device out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Before installing, make sure that the device is not externally damaged.

Insert the battery

Before commencing the installation, insert the battery into the battery compartment. To do this, open the battery compartment at the back of the device and the wireless sensor (Reed sensor). Insert one 3V type CR2032 battery in the battery compartment of the sensor and two 3V type CR2032 batteries in the battery compartment of the bicycle computer. Installing the bracket

Glue the wide foam plate on the inside of the curve to avoid any possible slippage. Place the bracket with the curve facing down in the desired position on the handlebar of your bicycle. Fix the computer to the handlebar and secure it using the cable ties provided.

  1. Please align the base with the computer and insert for mounting.
  2. Thread the cable ties through the slits under the base to secure them to the handlebar.

Installing the wireless transmitter

Glue the wide foam pad to the inside of the curve to avoid any slipping. Place the bracket with the curve facing down in the desired position on the handlebar of your bicycle. Fix the sensor using the cable ties provided. The sensor side of the transmitter should point towards the spokes. Ensure that the sensor makes contact with the spokes.

Installing the magnet

Unscrew the magnet from the magnet holder. Then place the plastic plate with the guide at the top in a spoke. Screw the magnets and the nut onto the plastic plate so that the spoke is tightened.

Guide the bicycle spokes through the plastic hole at the bottom of the magnet and tighten it. The magnet is designed for spokes with a thickness of less than 2mm .

Fix the speed sensor to the front fork using the cable ties. The computer and sensor should be installed on the same side of the fork, with a distance of less than 60~cm between them. The arrow on the sensor should point towards the magnet. Fix the magnet as shown in the figure. The distance between the sensor and the magnet should be 3 - 5mm to ensure the best possible connection. To check the installation, turn the front wheel with the computer in speed mode and check the computer screen for any display. Adjust the sensor and magnet position if the signal is weak or absent.

Fixing the mode button

There is a cable with mode button extension on the bracket of the bicycle computer. You can fix it to the desired location using the adhesive pad on the back or by attaching it with cable ties.

5. Initial use

The system is completely reset when you replace the battery. We recommend you to reset the device once before using it. To do this, remove the battery and insert it again.

Settings

During initial commissioning, you have the option of setting the required language using the "MODE" and "SET" buttons.

There are two ways to access the system settings.

  • The system settings can be accessed when the battery is replaced or newly inserted.
  • Press the "SET" button in the time mode (Clock) or alternatively in the total kilometres (GESAMTKM / "TOTALODO") mode for 3 seconds in the default screen.

Press the "MODE" button to change the current value. Press the

"SET" button to access the next setting menu. The setting sequence is as follows: SET LANGUAGE (language setting) -> KM/h / Mp/h -> Wheel size -> Total kilometres -> Total riding time -> Weight -> Maintenance interval in km (main dist) -> Time format -> Hours -> Minutes -> Year -> Month -> Day -> Weekday (0-> Monday to 6-> Sunday)

Note: Measure the wheel circumference (WS) before specifying it. The following measurement methods can be used:

  • Note the selected size of the wheel and refer to the table below to find the appropriate circumference.
  • Mark a point on the desired bicycle tyre and push the bicycle forward until the tyre rotates once. The wheel circumference is the distance covered.

Make sure that the wheel circumference is precise as this will greatly affect the accuracy of the readings.

6. Functions

The speed bar moves according to the current speed while riding. This means that the bicycle computer is receiving a speed signal. The display shows the current speed.

Other functions

Time countdown (Time DN / Zeitrück)

In the countdown setting mode, press and hold the "SET" button for 3 seconds and then use the "MODE" button to set the hour value. Press "SET" again to access the minute value. After entering the correct value, press the "SET" button to confirm and move on to the seconds value. Set the seconds value and press the SET button to confirm and return to the time countdown setting mode. The set timer is then shown in the display and counts down as long as the bicycle is moved.

Trip Countdown (Trip DN / Navirück)

In the trip countdown setting mode, press and hold the "SET" button for 3 seconds and then use the "MODE" button to set the hour value. Press "SET" again to access the minute value. After entering the correct value, press the "SET" button to confirm and move on to the seconds value. Set the seconds value and press the SET button to confirm and return to the time countdown setting mode. The set timer is then shown in the display and counts down as long as the bicycle is moved.

Hide menu items

Total kilometres (GESAMT-KM / TOTALODO)

The odometer shows the total kilometres travelled when the computer is active. This ranges from 0.01 to 99,999 KM. Press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds in this mode to set the parameter.

Daily kilometres (TAGES-KM / DIST.DAY)

The daily distance shows the distance covered since the last reset. It ranges from 0.01 to 9999.9 KM and is reset to zero as soon as the maximum value is reached.

Average speed (DURCHKMH /AVGSPEED)

The average speed is shown in the display.

Maximum speed (MAX-KMH / MAXSPEED)

The maximum speed is shown in the display.

Riding time (FAHRZEIT / RIDETIME)

RIDE TIME shows the riding time of a single trip, which ranges from 0:00:00 to 99:59:59 and is reset to zero as soon as the maximum value is reached.

Total ride time (GESFAHRZ / TOT TIME)

Displays the total riding time. Press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds in this mode to set the parameter.

Temperature (TEMP)

Displays the current temperature, which ranges from -20^ to 60^ or -4^ to 140^ .

Maximum temperature (MAX-TEMP)

Displays the maximum temperature, which ranges from -20^ to 60^ or -4^ to 140^ .

Minimum temperature (MIN-TEMP)

8. Replacing the battery

Replace the batteries when the battery icon appears on the display or the display becomes difficult to read.   • Check the distance between the sensor and the magnet at regular intervals.
  • Do not use alcohol or any aggressive or chemical cleaning agents to clean the device.
  • Pay attention to the traffic while riding. Do not allow yourself to be distracted by the bicycle computer.
