* Clean your appliance with soapy water before use to remove any impurities from the packaging, not forgetting the cooking stone and the paddle. Rinse with a soft sponge and clean water and dry thoroughly.

USER INSTRUCTIONS

* Place the appliance on a firm, flat and heat-resistant surface.
* Open the oven door and place the cooking stone on the casters at the front of the cavity and slide it all the way to the base.
* Close the oven door and plug the power cord into an earthed socket. The interface lights up for a few seconds and then turns off. The On/Off button ⏻ remains lit and flashes.

LAGRANGE 709001 - USER INSTRUCTIONS - 1

ARNING:

Make sure you use just enough flour or semolina to prevent the mixture sticking to the paddle. Excess flour will burn on the stone and give a bitter taste to your preparation.

Excess flour will also increase the amount of smoke and the risk of fire in the oven once the preparation has been removed. If flames begin to appear, don't worry. Close the door if it is still open. If the fire does not extinguish itself within 20 seconds, unplug the appliance and keep the door closed until the fire is out.

* Press the Start/Stop button ⏻ start the cooking cycle countdown. Think about rotating your preparation on the stone once during the cooking cycle to ensure perfectly even cooking.
* Once the cycle is complete, 5 beeps will sound and the time will flash. Open the door and remove your preparation from the oven using the pizza paddle. Close the door immediately.
* To cook a new batch, start a new cycle. Open the door and place your preparation on the cooking stone. Close the door and press the On/Off button restart the cooking cycle countdown.

Note: if no button is pressed for ten minutes after the cycle has finished (the appliance has beeped 5 times), the appliance will switch off automatically and the display will show "END". If this is the case and you wish to continue cooking, you will need to restart the appliance by selecting the desired programme and waiting for the necessary preheating time.

Note : at any time, to stop a cycle or return to the control panel's initial status to change programmes, simply press and hold the On/Off button 📋r at least 3 seconds.

SETTING THE TIME AND TEMPERATURE:

To adjust the time of a cycle, press the "Temperature/Time/Preheat" button for 3 seconds and the time will flash. Adjust the time using the "+" and "-" buttons. The countdown will then start automatically. To adjust the temperature, press the "Temperature/Time/Preheat" button and the time will flash. Press the "Preheat" button a second time and the temperature will flash. Adjust the temperature using the "+" and "-" buttons.

* If the selected temperature changes from low to high, the time displayed will remain fixed: the oven preheats to reach the required temperature. Once the appliance has reached the required temperature, 5 beeps will sound to signal the end of pre-heating. You can start a new cycle as described above.

* If the selected temperature changes from high to low, the appliance displays the message "COOL" and beeps 5 times every 10 seconds. "COOL" flashes to indicate that the temperature is high (you can open the door to dissipate the heat). Once the appliance has reached the desired temperature, the temperature and time display will appear and 5 beeps will sound. You can start a new cycle as described above.

The operation is identical for the manual mode, but you can independently select top or bottom heating by pressing the "top heating element" or "lower heating element" button.

DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAMMES :

Cooking times vary depending on the preparation (weight, thickness, ingredients, temperature). The cooking times given in this table are for guidance only and should be adjusted according to your preparation and preferences.
