Frequently Asked Questions - CU902554TMM Atag

How to clean the metal grease filters?
The grease filters must be cleaned at least once a month. You can wash them by hand with soapy water or in the dishwasher at low temperature and short cycle. After washing, let them drain well before reinstalling.
When should I replace the charcoal filter?
The activated charcoal filter must be cleaned or replaced every 2 months (or when the indicator flashes after 120 hours of use). It has a maximum lifespan of 3 years. Check the manual for the correct filter type for your model.
How to connect my hood to the ConnectLife app?
Make sure the hood is in standby (off). Press the – and + buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter the Wi-Fi menu. Press any button, then press – to activate Wi-Fi. Use the ConnectLife app to follow the pairing instructions.
Why is my remote control not working?
Check that the remote control is paired with the hood (pairing procedure: press the C and W buttons for 3 seconds). If the batteries are low, replace them with two AAA batteries. The remote goes into standby after 30 seconds; shake it to reactivate.
How to adjust the lighting and its color temperature?
Turn on the lighting by pressing the lighting button for 1 second. Use the + and – buttons to adjust brightness. For color temperature, press C (cold white) or W (warm white) after turning on the lighting.
How to activate the Boost function?
Press the + button for more than 1 second to activate Boost mode. The hood will extract at full power for 10 minutes, then return to the previous speed. You can deactivate Boost by briefly pressing –.
What is the Clean Air function?
The Clean Air function refreshes the air in your kitchen for up to 24 hours. To activate it, turn off the hood and press the Clean Air button for 3 seconds. The hood will automatically run for 10 minutes every hour at low speed.
How to reset the filter saturation indicator?
After cleaning or replacing the filter, press and hold the filter reset button (dedicated button) until the indicator turns off. For the grease filter, the indicator lights up after 30 hours; for the charcoal filter, after 120 hours.
What is the minimum distance between the hood and a gas cooktop?
In accordance with safety standards, the distance between the lowest point of the hood and the gas cooking surface must be at least 65 cm. If the cooktop specifies a greater distance, follow that.
Can I connect the hood to my cooktop?
Yes, some Atag cooktops can be paired with the hood via Wi-Fi connection. To establish the link, put the hood and cooktop in pairing mode (see respective manuals). This allows automatic functions such as activation of the hood when using the cooktop.
