This appliance is intended and suitable for mixing and beating foods and liquids. All other use or modification of the appliance is not intended by the manufacturer and might entail a risk of damage or injury. This appliance is intended for commercial use!

General Safety Instructions
• Manufacturer takes no responsibility for any damage caused by incorrect use.
- Incorrect or improper use can damage the appliance and cause injuries to the user.
- Before connecting this appliance to the mains, make sure your local voltage matches the technical data of the appliance. Otherwise the appliance may overheat and get damaged.

Caution! Danger of electric shock!
- Never put the appliance, cord or plug into water or another liquid.
- Do not use the appliance near a sink or wash basin.
- Do not use the appliance with wet hands.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors.
An electric appliance is not a toy!
- Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 y and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 supervised.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of childr less than 8 years.
• Always unplug your appliance when it is not in use, and before cleaning.
- Always pull the plug - not the cord.
- Keep the appliance and the cord well away from any surfaces to avoid any damage to the appliance.
- Make sure the cord may not inadvertently be pulled or cause anyone to trip when in use. Do not allow the cord to hang over sharp edges.
- Do not bend the cord or wind it round the appliance.
Do not use the appliance,
- if the cord is damaged.
• in case of malfunction. - if the appliance was dropped or is damaged otherwise. Have it checked and, if necessary, repaired by a qualified person/Customer Service. Never attempt to make any modifications to or repair the appliance yourself.

- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means an external timer or separate remote-control system.
Special Safety Instructions

Warning! To avoid the possibility of injury/damage to the appliance, electric shock and burns!
- Only use the appliance for its intended purpose and as described in this manual.
• Make sure all parts are properly attached. Danger of injuries, due to rotating parts. - When exchanging parts make sure that the appliance unplugged and switched off (0-position).
- Always disconnect the appliance from the mains when leaving the appliance unattended, exchanging accessories or before Cleaning.
- Never affix parts (hooks) with different functions to the appliance at the same time.

Never touch the rotating parts/blades with your hands and/or other objects when using the appliance. This could lead to serious injuries and/or damage to the appliance.

Never use any boiling liquids. Allow those liquids to cool down first (lukewarm) to avoid serious injuries/burns.
- Make sure that the accessories of the appliance have come to a complete stand still, before removing the appliance from the respective container.
- Never try to process any hard ingredients with the appliance.
- Never use the appliance with an empty mixing container, to avoid damage and overheating of the appliance.
- Continuous Operation: 5 minutes. After a 5 minutes use, the appliance should be allowed to cool down for 20 minutes.

Before First Use
- Remove all packaging material and check whether the appliance is complete and undamaged.

Do not use the appliance if it shows any signs of damage and contact your dealer or customer service.
• Fully unwind the power cord (9).
- Clean the appliance as specified under "Cleaning and Care".

Warning: Plastic bags are a danger to toddlers and babies, therefore keep them away to avoid suffocation.
Inserting/Removing the beaters/dough hooks

Make sure that the appliance is unplugged and switched off (0-position)
- Make sure that the speed control switch (4) is set to 0-Position (OFF).
- Insert the ends of the beaters (7) / dough hooks (8) into the resp. opening slots (6) of the mixer (2). You may need to twist them slightly until they click into place.
- To remove the beaters (7) / dough hooks (8) push the eject button (3).
Operation

Mixing heavy ingredients can cause damage to the appliance. Incorrect or improper use are not covered by Warranty.
- Depending on which kind of dough you are preparing, insert the beaters(7) / dough hooks (8) into the opening slots (6) of the mixer (2).
- Put the required ingredients into a bowl (no glass bowls) and lower the beaters (7) / dough hooks (8) into the ingredients.
- Connect the plug to a properly installed wall socket.
- Start the mixing process by turning the speed control switch (4) to the right. You can choose from 6 speed settings (1 - 6) and Turbo (5) (see explanation underneath).
- Once the mixing process is complete switch OFF (0-position) your appliance and disconnect it from the mains. Remove the food content from the bowl and remove the beaters (7) / dough hooks (8) by pin the eject button (3).
Use the dough hooks (8) for yeast dough and shortcrust pastry.

Only switch on the appliance once the beaters / hooks are lowered into the ingredients.
Speed Setting
0 - OFF
1 - suitable starting speed for mixing "soft" ingredients, e.g. butter, flour, etc.
2 - ideal speed for mixing liquid ingredients
3 - ideal speed for mixing cake batter
4 - ideal speed for creaming butter, dessert, etc.
5 + 6 - ideal speed for beating egg whites, whipping cream, mashing potatoes, etc.
Turbo function
Same speed as level 6. This button (5) allows you to operate the appliance in each speed setting at if capacity.

Warning: DO NOT operate the appliance longer than 5 minutes (CO-time) at a time, to avoid ng of the appliance. After a 5 minute use, the appliance should be allowed to cool down for 20min .
Cleaning and Care
Due to hygienic reasons clean your appliance on a regular basis, best after each use.

Before cleaning, always switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains. Let it own. Never immerse the appliance in water. Danger! Electric Shock!
Clean the appliance as soon as possible after use with a damp cloth and do not use any aggressive cleaning agents.
Clean the stainless steel beaters (7) / dough hooks (8) in warm water using some dishwashing deterg rinse them afterwards and dry them thoroughly. The beaters (7) / dough hooks (8) are not dishwasher safe.

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
Storage
Keep the appliance away from children and store it in a clean and dry place.
The storage box (1) can be used to store the stainless steel beaters (7), dough hooks and the pow and plug. Close the storage box (1) by attaching the mixer (2) on top.
Disposal Instructions


Waste electrical devices marked with this sign must not be disposed of with your household waste, but are to be collected separately. Therefore, please return this device at the end of its life cycle to special collection points for disposal or your local dealer.

Your Hand Mixer 23012 is packed in a retail box. Such boxes are recyclable waste, i.e. they are reusable or recyclable.

CO-Time: The CO-Time (Continuous Time) describes the time how long an appliances may be used without the motor being damaged or overheating. After the appliance has run for this period of time it must be switched off to allow the motor to cool down.

This guarantee is not valid:
