Intended use

This product is intended to grill up to two sandwiches at a time.

The product is intended for indoor use only.

The grill plates are not removable.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product. This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.

The product is intended for use in household environments for typical housekeeping functions that may also be used by non-expert users for typical housekeeping functions, such as: shops, offices other similar working environments, farm houses, by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments and/or in bed and breakfast type environments.

Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and proper functioning.

• Only use the product as described in this document.
• Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective product immediately.
• Do not let persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge of how to operate, use the product.
• Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
• Keep the product and power cable out of reach of children under 8 years of age.
• Before plugging into a power outlet, check whether the power supply voltage corresponds with the voltage printed at the bottom of the product.
• Place the product on a stable and flat surface.
• Make sure that the product can dissipate its heat.
• Do not leave the product unattended when switched on.
• Always close the product before connecting it to the power outlet.
• Do not expose the product to water or moisture.
• This product may only be serviced by a qualified technician for maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.
• Disconnect the product from the power source and other equipment if problems occur.
• Never immerse the product in water or place it in a dishwasher.
• If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Do not let the power cable hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.

• Do not place the product near heat sources, this can damage the product.

• Before cleaning and maintenance, switch off the product and disconnect the power.

• Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid or acetone when cleaning the product.
• Do not pull the power cable to move the product.
• The surfaces of the product get hot during use.
• Do not touch the hot parts of the product directly.
• Do not use external timers or remote control systems to switch the product on or off.
• Be careful when opening the lid, hot steam may escape.
• Keep the product at a distance from flammable objects such as furniture, curtains and similar.
• Do not use a metal tool to remove the food to avoid damaging the coating.

Before first use

1. Remove all packaging.
2. Clean the upper and bottom housing A 3 4 with a damp cloth
3. Clean the grill plates A 7 8 with a sponge or cloth and warm water.
4. Dry 78 with a cloth or paper towel.

Using the product

When the product heats up for the first time, it may emit slight smoke or odor. This is normal and does not affect the safety of the product.

1. Plug the power cable A 9 into a power outlet.

The power indicator LED A1 lights up red, to indicate that the power is on. The heat indicator LED A5 lights up green, to indicate that the product is preheating.

A5 switches off when the product is ready for use.

1. Unlock the handle lock A ② and lift the upper housing A ③ with the top handle A ⑥.

2. Slightly grease the bottom grill plate A 8 with edible oil.

3. Place your sandwich on A 8 and close A 3 with A 6.

4. Lock 2.

1. Cook for about 4-8 minutes, when ready open A ③ and take your sandwich out with a plastic or wooden spatula.

2. To prepare more food, repeat steps 4-7.

3. After use, unplug A 9

Cleaning and storage

1. Unplug the product from the power outlet and allow it to cool down.
2. Absorb the excess oil with a dry paper towel, brush the crumbs from the grooves and wipe A 7 8 with a damp cloth and mild soap.
3. Make sure the product is cool and dry before storage.
