Thank you for choosing a BEARWARE product. Please read the following user manual carefully so that you can enjoy your purchased product for a long time. Before using the delivered product, check that it is complete, faultless and undamaged.

3. Important tips
When the device is put into operation for the first time, check the intactness of the product or components and their function again. Do not connect any devices, where the current of 16 (3) A is exceeded. Make sure that the device plug is fully inserted into the timer port. If you need to clean the product, first disconnect the timer from the mains completely and wipe the device using a dry cloth. Never immerse the timer in water or other liquids! Heaters and similar devices should never be left unattended during operation. The manufacturer recommends not to connect any such devices to the timer.

4. Functional overview
The timer offers the following functions and setting options:
- Configurable timer programmes
- Can be switched on / off manually
- The random function allows a random switching delay between 6:31 pm and 5:30 am.
16 different combinations of the weekdays can be set
The individual days of the week are shown in the timer display in the form of English abbreviations. The following table shows the abbreviations and the corresponding day of the week:

5. Commissioning
Take the product out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Then, plug the timer into any socket at home whose voltage matches the specifications of the timer.
Leave the timer plugged in for about 12 hours so that the backup battery charges fully. After charging, press the RESET button using a pointed object to clear or completely reset the current configuration of the timer.
The device is now ready to be used. The following sections of this manual describe how to make the individual settings.
6. Setting the current time
Press and hold the CLOCK button and simultaneously press the WEEK button until the current day is shown on the timer display.
Keep the CLOCK button pressed and set the current time using the HOUR and MINUTE buttons.
Then, release the buttons. The current time and day of the week are now set.
7. Setting the timer programmes
Press the TIMER button briefly. You can first set the time at which the connected device has to be switched on (ON).
Press the WEEK button until the desired days of the week on which the timer programme has to be executed are shown on the display. Now set the desired time using the "HOUR" and "MIN" buttons.
Then press the TIMER button again. You can then set the time at which the connected device has to be switched off (OFF). Configure the time and days of the week using the WEEK, HOUR, and MIN buttons as described in the previous step.
Note: Please remember that the days of the week for switching on and switching off have to be configured separately. The selected combination is not automatically adopted for the entire timer programme.
Press the TIME button briefly. You can then configure the second timer programme.
A total of 10 timer programmes are available, which you can configure in this way. Once all the programmes have been customised as needed, please press the CLOCK button. The display again shows the current time and the day of the week. The timer is now ready to use.
Note: Please ensure that the times of the individual timer programmes do not overlap in order to avoid unintentional switching on or off.
To disable a timer programme again or to enable a disabled program, press the TIMER button until the desired program is shown in the display. You can now enable or disable the timer programme using the RES / RCL button.
8. Switching on and off manually
You can manually switch on and switch off the device connected to the timer using the ON/AUTO/OFF button or enable the automatic control according to the configured timer programmes again.
Press the button to change between the different modes. The display changes between "AUTO", "ON" and "OFF".
Please note that when changing from "ON" or "OFF" to "AUTO", the last timer state is retained until one of the configured timer programmes triggers a change.
9. Random function
The random function allows a random switching delay between the times 6:31 pm and 5:30 am. In the random mode, the timer is randomly switched on and off with delays up to half an hour.
Press the "RANDOM" button to enable/disable the random function. If the function is enabled, the "RANDOM" symbol is shown in the display.
Note: Ensure that you configure the programmes between these times if you want to use the random function. If you want to configure several programmes, ensure that the "OFF" time of the previous program is at least 31 minutes before the "ON" time of the next program.
10. Summer time and 12/24 hour display
Press the button "CLOCK" and "AUTO/ON/OFF" simultaneously to toggle between summer and winter time. If summer time is set, then the symbol is shown in the timer display. The clock is advanced in this case by one hour. Press the "CLOCK" and "TIMER" buttons simultaneously to toggle between the 12 and 24-hour display. The "AM" or "PM" symbol is shown in the display as soon as the 12-hour display is enabled.

11. Safety instructions and liability disclaimer
Never try to open the device to carry out repairs or conversions. Avoid contact with mains voltages. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not certified for use in the open air; only use it in dry conditions. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Keep it away from high temperatures. Do not subject the device to sudden changes in temperature or heavy vibration as this might damage electronic components. Examine the device for damage before using it. The unit should not be used if it has received an impact or has been damaged in any other way. Please observe national regulations and restrictions. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in the instructions. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally impaired persons. Any repair or alteration to the device not carried out by the original supplier, will invalidate the warranty or guarantee. The product may only be used by persons who have read and understood these instructions. The device specifications may change without any separate prior notice to this effect.

12. Disposal instructions
Electrical and electronic devices may only be disposed of in accordance with the European WEEE Directive and not with household rubbish. Components must be disposed of or recycled separately as dangerous, toxic elements can inflict sustained damage on the environment if they are disposed of incorrectly. As a consumer, you are bound by the Electrical and Electronic Devices Act (ElektroG) to return electrical and electronic goods free of charge at the end of their useful life to the manufacturer, the place of purchase or to specially set up, public collection points. The details in each case are governed by national law. The symbol on the product, the operating instructions and/or the packaging refers to these regulations. By separating materials in this way, recycling and disposing of old devices, you are making an important contribution towards protecting our environment.

13. Instructions on the disposal of batteries
With regard to the sale of batteries or the supply of devices containing batteries, the supplier is obliged to draw the customer's attention to the following:

The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meanings: Pb = battery contains more than 0.004 percent by mass of lead, Cd = battery contains more than 0.002 percent by mass of cadmium, Hg = battery contains more than 0.0005 percent by mass of quicksilver.

The symbol of the rubbish bin with a cross through it indicates that the battery may not be put in household waste.
