Important safety guidelines for this appliance

- If the power cable is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, his specialist dealer, or an equally qualified person, so as to prevent any risk.

- Children should use or clean the appliance only under supervision or guidance.

- In the interest of child safety, do not leave any packaging material (plastic bags, cardboard, polystyrene, etc.) lying around.

- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

- Operate the appliance in accordance with the voltage specified on the appliance label.

• Disconnect the power plug from the mains socket when the appliance is not being used or for cleaning.
• Keep it on an suitable surface so that it does not tip over.

Thank you for choosing an Arendo product. Please read the following user manual carefully so that you can enjoy the purchased product. Before using the product, first check that the delivered item is complete, accurate and undamaged.

3. Function

The multi-functional oven from Arendo is an ideal kitchen appliance that permits you to fry, dehydrate, rotating grill, roast, bake, au gratinate, toast, warm and cook. Large quantities can be prepared owing to the high capacity of 10 litres.

4. Before initial use

Check that the product and the components are intact and that the appliance is working properly when using it for the first time. Take the appliance out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Clean the appliance before using it for the first time. Heat the multi-functional oven for about 10-15 minutes. This removes any production residues.

6. Trays

Frying container

To fix the handle to the basket, open the handle lock, press the removable handle of the frying container and attach it to the basket handle insert. Once the handle is connected to the basket, close the handle lock to secure the basket handle. To release the handle from the basket, open the handle lock, press the handle and pull it up.

First, insert the two outer plates onto the rod and tighten the screws. Then, place the skewers in the outer notches and guide the bent ends into the holes (see figure).

Rotating skewer for roasting/poultry/kebab (6/12)

Insert the rod in a longitudinal direction through the centre of the poultry or roast. Push the forks of the rotating skewer through the rod and into the poultry or the roast and lock the forks using the screws. Make sure that the size of the poultry or the roast leaves adequate space in the oven for the skewer to rotate.

Rotating cage (e.g., for chicken legs or French fries)

Place the lid on the rotating cage. Then turn the lid to lock it into place.

Caution! The accessories are very hot during and after the cooking process! Never touch the hot objects directly. Use oven gloves or something similar. Place the hot accessories only on heat resistant surfaces or use the stand provided (accessory no. 11).

6.1 Inserting the rotating skewer for roasting/poultry/kebab (6/12) or rotating cage (9)

1. Insert the appropriate tray into the multi-functional oven. Make sure that the right side of the rod slides into the groove on the right side of the oven. Press and hold the red unlocking button (B) while pushing the tray into the oven. This releases the lock (A) on the left inside the oven. Once the tray is in position, release the unlock button. Ensure that the tray has been inserted correctly.

2. Close the oven door.

3. Press the "Rotate" button to turn on the rotation.

4. To remove the trays after cooking, take the hook of the rotating cage (10) and hook it from below to the tray. Press the unlock button and remove the tray slowly.

7. Usage

1. Place the appliance on a flat, heat-resistant and level surface.
2. Place the drip tray on the base inside the appliance.
3. Prepare the desired tray (kebab accessories, rotating cage, rotating skewer for roast/poultry, frying container or dehydration tray) with the desired food first and then place it in the oven and close the oven door.
4. Connect the power cable to a properly installed socket.
5. Press the "ON/OFF" on the control panel to switch on the appliance.
6. Then select the desired program. You can choose between the following programs:
   French fries, Pizza, Bread, Steak, Fish, Dehydration, Chicken and Cake.
   Once you press the appropriate program icon, the time and temperature is shown on the display.
7. To adjust the temperature the time manually or to change it, use the "+" and "-" buttons in the temperature and time setting to adjust the default temperatures and times.
8. Press the "ON/OFF" button to start the cooking process immediately, or wait

a few seconds until the appliance starts automatically.

1. Once the set time has elapsed, you will hear an audible beep. Open the oven door and remove the appropriate tray (kebab accessories, rotating cage, rotating skewer for roast/poultry, frying container or dehydration tray) and place it on a heat-resistant surface. Remember that the inner part of the multi-functional oven and the accessories used in it can still be hot.

2. If the food item still needs to be cooked for some time more, set the time and the temperature individually and restart the cooking process.

3. To heat the food again, press the "REHEAT" button. The timer is automatically set to 6 minutes and 140^ C .

4. Press the "ON/OFF" button briefly to stop the current cooking process. Press and hold the "ON/OFF" button to stop the cooking.

5. To switch off the appliance completely, disconnect the mains plug from the socket.

8. Function programs

Please note that these are only sample values which can be adapted as desired. If you want to make cakes or pizza in the oven, please use the appropriate tray

for it.

9. Cleaning and Care

! The following parts are dishwasher safe:

Kebab accessories (7 + 8), rotating cage (9), rotating skewer for roasting/poultry (6/12 + 13), frying container (14) and trays (16 + 17)

Disconnect the power cable from the mains socket and make sure that the appliance is not carrying current. Clean the container using warm soapy water. Do not use any strong or aggressive cleaning agents or scouring agents. Then rinse all the parts thoroughly and allow them to dry adequately. Please wipe the outer body with a clean, damp cloth and then dry it thoroughly.

You can remove the protective grille of the heating element (18) at any time to clean it. Pull it out of the guides towards the door and wipe it with a slightly damp cloth. Remember to insert the grille again before using the appliance.

Caution! Ensure that water does not get into the switching mechanism or into the appliance. Otherwise, there is a risk of electric shock. Never immerse the oven in water!

10. Troubleshooting

11. Safety instructions and disclaimer

Do not operate the appliance unattended and check it for damage and proper as-sembly before using it each time. Please do not try to open the appliance to carry out repairs or modifications by yourself. Avoid contact with the mains supply. The appliance does not carry current only when disconnected. Please do not short-circuit the product. Do not forget to disconnect the power cord when the appliance is not being used or during thunderstorms. The appliance is not approved for outdoor use. Therefore, please use it only in dry surroundings.

Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Do not expose the appliance to high outside temperatures. Do not expose the appliance to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic components. Check the appliance for any damage before using it. The appliance should not be used if it has been subject to impact or has been damaged in some other way. Please follow the local regulations and restrictions.

Do not use the appliance for purposes other than those described in this user manual. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally disabled persons. Use the appliance only with the base plate supplied. Any repairs or modifications to the appliance not carried out by the original supplier will void any warranty and guarantee claims. The appliance should be used only by persons who have read and understood this user manual. The specifications of the appliance may be changed without prior notice.

12. Disposal instructions

In line with the European WEEE directive, electrical and electronic appliances should not be disposed of along with domestic waste. Their components must be separately sent for recycling or disposal, as improper disposal of toxic and dangerous components may permanently damage the environment. According to the Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG), you are obliged (as a consumer) to return (free of charge) all electrical and electronic appliances to the manufacturer, the point of sale or public collection points at the end of their service life. The relevant local laws regulate the details in this regard. The symbol displayed on the product, in the user manual or/and on the packaging refers to these regulations. Crunchy salmon cubes

• Serves: 2
  • Preparation time: 20 - 30 minutes
• Ingredients:
  • 200g salmon cubes (without skin and bones)
• 100g cornflakes
• 1 - 2 egg(s)
• 75g flour
• Lemon juice
• Salt and pepper
  • 1-2 tablespoons of sunflower oil/rapeseed oil/olive oil

First, cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized pieces of about 3 x 3 cm and season it with lemon juice, salt and pepper. Keep the flour ready in a deep plate. Then break the eggs into a plate. Finally, prepare another plate with crumbled corn flakes. Apply flour to the fillet pieces, then cover them completely with egg and cornflakes. Then, bake the coated salmon pieces in the Arendo multi-functional oven with a teaspoon of oil at 190°C for about 6 - 8 minutes until it becomes crispy and serve on a plate.

Stewed peppers with quinoa

• Serves: 2
  • Preparation time: 20 - 30 minutes
• Ingredients:
• 100g Quinoa
• 4 peppers (red)
  • 300ml vegetable stock
• 120g mushrooms
  • 100g grated parmesan
• Curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon fennel (ground)
• 1 shallot
• 1 clove of garlic

• 1-2 tablespoons of sunflower oil/rapeseed oil/olive oil

First wash the quinoa thoroughly under cold water to flush out any bitter substances that may be present. Then, heat 300ml of vegetable stock with the fennel and allow the quinoa to cook in it for 10 minutes. Then remove the quinoa from the stove and keep it aside for 10 more minutes. In the meantime, cut the peppers below the stalk into circular pieces and detach them carefully with the core. De-core the peppers completely. Also peel and chop the shallots and garlic. Then slice the mushrooms and sauté them briefly with the curry powder, the shallot and garlic pieces in a pan. Finally, mix the quinoa with the mushrooms and add parmesan and fill the peppers with it. Place the peppers with a little oil for about 12 - 15 minutes at about 160°C in the Arendo multi-functional oven.

Homemade French fries/potato wedges

• Serves: 2
  • Preparation time: 10 - 15 minutes
• Ingredients:
• 6 potatoes (or sweet potatoes)
• Paprika seasoning
• Salt
  • 1-2 tablespoons of sunflower oil/rapeseed oil/olive oil

First, peel the potatoes or wash them thoroughly for wedges. Then cut them into strips of about 1cm thick or into pieces and put them in cold water for 10 minutes

to dissolve the starch from the potatoes. Now turn the strips over in the oil and season them with pepper and salt. Finally bake the French fries or wedges in the Arendo multi-functional oven at 200^ C for about 10 minutes until they become crispy.

Hazelnut brownies

• Serves: 10
  • Preparation time: 40 - 60 minutes
• Ingredients:
• 70g chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
• 50g sugar
• 45g flour
  • 30g chopped hazelnuts
• 70g butter
• 1 - 2 egg(s)
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet baking powder

Initially, heat the chocolate with butter in a steel pan gently, by stirring it constantly to prevent the chocolate from being burnt. Then allow it to cool down briefly.

In the next step, beat the egg, sugar, vanilla sugar with a pinch of salt in a bowl. Then add the chocolate mix to the flour, nuts and a pinch of baking powder and stir.

Then place a baking paper on the Pizza tray and pour the dough on it and spread it evenly. Slide the tray into the Arendo multi-functional oven and bake the dough at 180^ C for 18 - 20 minutes. To ensure that the dough is creamy inside, insert a wooden skewer into it. Once the dough is crispy outside, a small amount of dough should still be sticking to the wooden skewer.

Remove the dough from the multi-functional oven and allow it to cool briefly. You can now cut the finished dough into bite-size brownies.
