3. Function
As an ideal kitchen aid, the hot air fryer manufactured by Arendo allows you to fry products such as French fries in whatever way you want. The appliance requires hardly any oil (max. 1-2 tablespoons) or sometimes no oil at all, thereby contributing to a healthier diet. Large quantities can be fried owing to the high capacity of 3.2 litres.
4. Before initial use
Take the device out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Clean the appliance before using it for the first time. Heat the fryer for about 10-15 minutes. This removes any production residues.

6. Usage
- Connect the power cable to a properly installed socket.
- Then remove the frying container
- Place the items in the frying container. Ensure that you do not exceed the maximum mark.
- Place the frying container in the hot air fryer.
- Press the on/off button on the control panel of the appliance.
- To start the desired program, first select the desired time and temperature using the control elements. Alternatively, you can select one of the seven modes using the program selection button. Press the ON/OFF button to start the appliance.
- The process is completed when you hear a beep in succession. Remove the frying container and place it on a heat-resistant material. Then remove your items.
- Follow the same procedure when you use the pizza tray or grill grate.
Note:
-For a better result, we recommend that you stir the container once during the frying process.
- You can use the grill grate, e.g., for meatballs or meat.

Please note that these are only sample values which can be adapted as desired. If you want to make cakes or pizza in the fryer, please use the appropriate container for it.
8. Cleaning and care

Caution! The following parts are dishwasher safe:

Clean the container using warm soapy water. Do not use any strong or aggressive cleaning agents or scouring agents. Then rinse all the parts thoroughly and allow them to dry adequately. Please wipe the outer body with a clean, damp cloth and then dry it thoroughly.
Caution! Ensure that water does not enter the switching mechanism or on the heating plate. Otherwise, there is a risk of electric shock.

9.1 Crispy salmon cubes
- Servings: 2
• Preparation time: 20 - 30 minutes - Ingredients: 200g salmon cubes:
• 200g salmon cubes (without peel and bones) - 100g Cornflakes
- 1 - 2 egg(s)
- 75g flour
- lemon juice
- salt and pepper
• 1 - 2 tablespoons optional sunflower oil / rapeseed oil / olive oil
At first, cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized pieces about 3 x 3 cm and season with a little lemon juice, salt and pepper. Place the flour on a deep plate. Then beat the eggs in a plate. Finally, prepare another plate with the crumbled cornflakes. Turn the fillet pieces in the flour, cover with egg and then completely with the cornflakes. Then fry the breaded salmon pieces in the Arendo air fryer with a teaspoon of oil at 190 °C about 6 - 8 minutes until it's crispy. Serve it on a plate.
9.2 Stewed Paprika with Quinoa
- Servings: 2
• Preparation time: 20 - 30 minutes - Ingredients: 100g quinoa
- 100g Quinoa
- 4 peppers (red)
• 300ml vegetable broth - 120g mushrooms
• 100g grated Parmesan cheese - curry powder
• 1 teaspoon fennel (ground) - 1 shallot
- 1 clove of garlic
• 1 - 2 tablespoons optional sunflower oil / rapeseed oil / olive oil
At first, wash the quinoa thoroughly under cold water to rinse out any bitter substances it may contain. Then heat 300ml of vegetable stock with the fennel and cook the quinoa for 10 minutes. Remove the quinoa from the heat and leave to swell for another 10 minutes. In the meantime, cut the peppers all around underneath the stalk and carefully remove them together with the stalk. Completely remove the seeds from the paprika. Also peel and chop the shallot and the garlic. Then cut the mushrooms into small pieces and fry briefly in a pan with the curry powder, shallots and garlic pieces. Finally mix the quinoa with the mushrooms, add the parmesan and fill the peppers with it. Place the peppers in the Arendo air fryer with a little oil about 12 - 15 minutes at approx. 160°C.
9.3 Homemade French Fries / Potato Wedges
- Servings: 2
• Preparation time: 10 - 15 minutes - Ingredients:
- 6 potatoes (or sweet potatoes)
- paprika spice
- salt
• 1 - 2 tablespoons optional sunflower oil / rapeseed oil / olive oil
First peel the potatoes:
To begin, peel the potatoes or rinse them thoroughly for wedges. Then cut into strips or pieces about 1 cm thick and place it in cold water for 10 minutes to remove the starch from the potatoes. Now turn the streaks in the oil and season with paprika and salt. Finally, bake the chips or wedges at 200 °C about 10 minutes until it is crispy.
9.4 Hazelnut Brownies
- Servings: 10
• Preparation time: 40 - 60 minutes - Ingredients: 70g chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
- 70g chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
- 50g sugar
- 45g flour
• 30g chopped hazelnuts - 70g butter
- 1 - 2 egg(s)
• 1 packet vanilla sugar
• 1 packet baking powder
At the beginning heat the chocolate together with the butter in a frying pan:
Carefully heat the chocolate together with the butter in a steel pan, stirring constantly to prevent the chocolate from burning. Allow to cool briefly.
Next, beat the egg, sugar and vanilla sugar with a pinch of salt in a bowl until creamy. Then add the chocolate mixture with the flour, the nuts and a pinch of baking powder and mix.
Then line the pizza tray insert with baking paper and add the dough mixture and smooth it down. Slide the tray into the air fryer and bake the dough at 180 °C for 18 - 20 minutes. To ensure that the inside of the dough is creamy, insert a wooden stick. As soon as the outside of the dough is crispy, some more dough should stick to the sticks.
Remove the dough from the air fryer and let it cool briefly. Now you can cut the finished dough into bite-sized brownies.
