INTRODUCTION

LANAFORM® would like to thank you for choosing their new travel shaver for men.

The “MEN’S TRAVEL SHAVER” is a travel shaver for men equipped with a Ni-Mh rechargeable battery and which has the environmental benefit of containing neither cadmium nor lead, two very polluting materials. What’s more, this battery gives the “MEN’S TRAVEL SHAVER” a charge time of only a few hours for 45 minutes of use as well as a reduced sensitivity to the memory effect. This travel shaver for men is equipped with a high speed engine and a broad floating shaver head, giving it incredible manoeuvrability and perfect precision. Equipped with very useful and practical accessories such as: a USB cable, allowing you to recharge it through any USB port, a travel box, a cleaning brush, a mains adapter, the “MEN’S TRAVEL SHAVER” will be a faithful and perfect travel companion.

PLEASE READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO USING YOUR «MEN'S TRAVEL SHAVER», IN PARTICULAR THESE FEW BASIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

• Only use this appliance for the purposes described in this manual.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental capabilities are impaired, or by persons lacking experience or knowledge, unless they have had the benefit of prior supervision and instruction in using the device from a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• Please do not use accessories which are not recommended by LANAFORM® or which are not supplied with this appliance.

• Do not use this appliance if the power lead is damaged, if it is not working correctly, if it has been dropped on the floor, if it is damaged or if it has fallen into water. If this is the case, have the appliance inspected and repaired by the supplier or its after-sales department.

• If the power supply lead is damaged, it must be replaced by a similar lead available from the supplier or its after-sales service.
  • Always disconnect the appliance from the mains after use or before cleaning it.
• Should the appliance fall into water, unplug it immediately before retrieving it.
• An electrical appliance should never be left plugged in and unsupervised, except during the charging time. Make sure to unplug the appliance once it has charged.
• Keep the power lead away from hot surfaces.
• Never allow anything to fall into or insert any object (drawing pin or other metal clip) into any of the openings on this device.
• Never use this appliance in a room where aerosol products (sprays) are used or in a room where oxygen is administered.
• Do not expose this device to humidity, dust or dirt.
• The equipment is designed for indoor use only.
• Never use the appliance on any part of the body other than the face.
• Do not use this device if the grid is cracked or broken. Contact the supplier or the after sales service.
• Do not use the appliance for shaving wet skin, use only on dry skin.
• Close monitoring is required if the appliance is used in the

presence of children.

• The appliance should never be left unsupervised when it is activated.
• Do not touch the blades as they are very sharp.
• Make sure that your hands are dry before using or activating a switch on the product.
• When unplugging the appliance, please make sure that the «On/Off« button is switched off before removing the plug.
• If you feel any pain while using this appliance, stop using it immediately and consult your doctor.
• Never use this appliance on a part of the body which is swollen or inflamed or if you have any form of skin rash.
  • This appliance is designed for personal use only.

HOW TO USE

1) Details:

• Small, practical, designer travel shaver
  • High-speed engine (7,000 rotations per minute)
• Broad floating shaver head providing manoeuvrability and precision
• Ni-Mh rechargeable battery
• Charge time 8 hours for 45 minutes of use
• Accessories: USB cable, travel box, cleaning brush, mains adapter

3) Using the "MEN'S TRAVEL SHAVER": Instructions for first use

Prior to using the shaver for the first time and to guarantee it lasts a long time, please make sure to follow the steps below:

LANAFORM®

1) Switch the shaver on for 2 minutes.
2) Press the two buttons on each side to remove the protective shield, as illustrated.
3) Wipe the lubricant from the exterior and interior of the cutting grid.
4) Make sure to charge the shaver for 8 hours prior to the first use.
5) Your shaver is now ready for use.

Comment: Please note that your skin and beard need about a month to adapt to a new method of shaving.

Instructions for standard use:

1) Remove the protection cover.

2) The "On/Off" switch has a locking button to prevent any accidental use. To switch the shaver on, unlock the button and slide the switch towards the top of the shaver.
3) Hold the shaver at a right angle (= 90°) to the surface of your skin. Start shaving by applying a light pressure to your face.
4) Tighten the skin with your free hand and move the shaver in the direction of your beard.

Comment: Applying excessive pressure will not give a closer cleaner shave and may damage the shaver as well as your skin.

5) To switch the appliance off after use, slide the switch towards the base of the shaver.
6) To prevent damage to the perforated grid and cutting blades, make sure to always replace the protective cover when you have finished shaving.

MAINTENANCE

Cleaning

1) Disconnect the shaver from the power socket and wait for a few minutes before cleaning it.
2) Press the two buttons on each side to remove the protective shield.

3) Lift the protective shield.
4) Clean the blades and interior of the protective grid with the cleaning brush supplied with the appliance.
5) Wipe the main body using a soft wet cloth.
6) To replace the protective grid, position it over the blades. Once in position, press firmly to engage the clips.

Comment:

• Never let water or any other liquid come into contact with the shaver.
• Do not immerse it in liquid to clean it.
• Do not use brushes other than the one supplied with the shaver, harsh abrasive detergents, solvents or cleaning products.

Storage

• Switch the appliance off after use.
• Clean the appliance as indicated in the “Maintenance and Cleaning” section.
• Store the appliance in a secure place away from children.
• Put the "MEN'S TRAVEL SHAVER" in its box in a dry place.

Advice regarding the disposal of waste

- All the packaging is composed of materials that pose no hazard

for the environment and which can be disposed of at your local sorting centre to be used as secondary raw materials. The cardboard may be disposed of in a paper recycling bin. The packaging film must be taken to your local sorting and recycling centre.

- When you have finished using the device, please dispose of it in an environmentally friendly way and in accordance with the law.

Limited warranty

LANAFORM® guarantees this product against any material or manufacturing defect for a period of two years from the date of purchase, except in the circumstances described below.

The LANAFORM® guarantee does not cover damage caused as a result of normal wear to this product. In addition, the guarantee covering this LANAFORM® product does not cover damage caused by abusive or inappropriate or incorrect use, accidents, the use of unauthorized accessories, changes made to the product or any other circumstance, of whatever sort, that is outside LANAFORM®'s control.

LANAFORM® may not be held liable for any type of circumstantial, indirect or specific damage.

All implicit guarantees relating to the suitability of the product are limited to a period of two years from the initial date of purchase as long as a copy of the proof of purchase can be supplied.

On receipt, LANAFORM® will repair or replace your appliance at its discretion and will return it to you. The guarantee is only valid through LANAFORM®'s Service Centre®. Any attempt to maintain this product by a person other than LANAFORM®'s Service Centre will render this guarantee void.

1) Uključite aparat za brijanje na 2 minute.
