Intended use

The ash vacuum cleaner is only suitable for vacuuming dry, adequately cooled ash and dry dirt. The blower function of the appliance can be used for cleaning large areas and for fanning fires outdoors. Use the appliance only for personal use. It is not intended for commercial use.

4. Initial use (standard vacuuming mode)

Take the product out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Attach the filter to the bottom of the motor base. The filter should be removed and cleaned after heavy use.

Ensure that the temperature of the ash is not more than 50 °C.

  • Connect one end of the hose (7) with the locking tabs firmly to the suction opening (10) of the lid with motor unit (3). The hose can be locked by slightly turning in the clockwise direction. Connect the other end of the metal hose (7) to the aluminium pipe (6).
  • Then connect the mains plug to a properly installed socket.
  • Turn on the ash vacuum cleaner by pushing the "On/Off" switch (2) in the direction of the "I" position.

  • The appliance is ready and can now be used to vacuum, for e.g. ash.

  • Move the aluminium pipe closely, slowly and evenly over the dirt. Always make sure that the product is upright.

5. Initial use (Blower mode)

In addition to the vacuuming mode, the Brandon ash vacuum cleaner provides the option to use the exhaust air through the so-called blower mode.

To do this, insert the end of the hose (7) with the locking tabs into the opening (11) of the lid / motor unit (3).

The hose can be locked by slightly turning in the clockwise direction.

You can now blow dust, chips or ash from surfaces or equipment or fan the embers on your grill by guiding the hose / aluminium pipe.

6. Disassembling the hose

To disassemble the hose, slightly rotate the end attached to the motor unit (3), in the counterclockwise direction and remove it by pulling lightly.

7. Filter

The appliance has a HEPA filter (9) on the back of the motor unit (3).

Turn off the product and remove the lid from the container.

Rotate the lid so that you can see the filter. Now you can simply remove the filter.

Note: The filter protection bag is used to keep the filter clean. The filter protection bag is used to cover the filter.

8. Cleaning and Care

Disconnect the mains adapter from the socket before cleaning.

Clean the product using a slightly moist cloth.

Open the lid and empty the container into an appropriate garbage can.

Caution! Make sure that the vacuumed ash has completely cooled down.

Remove the filter from the appliance and empty the dust compartment.

8.1 Cleaning the filter unit

Remove the filter protection bag from the filter and remove the filter unit from the appliance. Then clean all the parts of the filter unit using a brush. If a lot of dirt has accumulated, clean it using a vacuum cleaner.

Note: You can rinse the filter using cold or lukewarm water if needed. Dry the filter thoroughly before replacing it in the filter unit!

Then mount the filter back on the lid and reattach the filter protection bag over the filter.

9. Emptying the container

The vacuuming capacity is reduced if the container of the appliance is full.

Open the two locks on the motor unit (3) and then remove the lid from the container (5).

Empty the contents of the container into an appropriate garbage can.

Caution! Make sure that the contents of the container have cooled down completely.

10. Safety instructions and disclaimer

Never try to open the appliance to repair or make modifications. Avoid contact with the mains voltage, the appliance does not carry current only when it is disconnected. Do not short-circuit the product. Please disconnect the power cord when not in use or during storms. Use the appliance only in dry conditions. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Do not expose the appliance to high temperatures. Do not expose the appliance to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic components. Check the appliance for damage before using it. The appliance should not be used if it has been subject to impact or has been damaged in any other manner. Please follow the national regulations and restrictions. Do not use the appliance for purposes other than those described in the manual. This product is not a toy. 11. Disposal instructions
