Remove the product from the packaging and remove all packaging material. Remove the display from the device. Remove the battery compartment cover from the display and insert a CR2032 battery into the battery compartment. Ensure that the polarity of the contacts is correct.
Then replace the display. Then connect the water meter to the desired connection. Observe the water flow direction (see product details). The device is now ready for operation.

By pressing the “Multifunction button”, you can switch between different modes on the display.

Reset average Reset all data
FLOW MODE (flow display) - Measurement of the water flow in real time When the water flows through the flow meter, the display is activated and shows the current flow rate.
AUTO MODE (automatic mode) - Measurement of individual water consumption. When the water flows through the flow meter, the display is activated and shows the current flow rate in GAL/min or L/min. Press and hold the button for 3 seconds to switch between L/min and GAL/min.
AVERAGE MODE (average display) - Displays the daily average water consumption for the last 7 days. Press the “multifunction button” and the average water consumption of the last 7 days is displayed. Press and hold the “multi-function button” for 3 seconds to reset the average.
TOTAL MODE (total display) - The total amount of water is measured until the next reset. Press the multifunction button to display the total water consumption, maximum 99999 L / 99999 GAL. Press and hold the button for 3 seconds to reset the total quantity.
Switching the L & GAL unit - In AUTO MODE, press and hold the multifunction button for 3 seconds to switch between L/Min and GAL/Min.
Sleep mode - If no water flows for longer than 1 minute in any mode or no water flows for longer than 1 minute, the display goes into standby mode.
If the multifunction button is pressed or water is flowing, the appliance switches on automatically.
Low battery indicator - If the battery voltage is below 2.4 V, the low battery symbol flashes brightly and darkly on the screen at 0.5 second intervals. Please change the battery when the symbol appears. When changing the battery, always ensure that the polarity of the contacts is correct.

6. Safety instructions and disclaimer
At temperatures below freezing, the water flow meter should be removed from the tap and stored indoors to prevent possible freezing damage.
Never attempt to open the appliance to carry out repairs or modifications. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The appliance is not frost-proof. Always store the appliance away from water and frost in winter. Keep the appliance away from high temperatures.
Do not expose the appliance to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic components.
Check the device for damage before use. The appliance should not be used if it has been knocked or damaged in any other way.
Please observe the national regulations and restrictions. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in the instructions. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally impaired persons. Any repair or modification to the device that is not carried out by the original supplier will invalidate the warranty and guarantee claims. The device may only be used by persons who have read and understood these instructions. The device specifications may change without prior notice.

7. Disposal instructions
According to the European WEEE Directive, electrical and electronic devices may not be disposed of with household waste. Their components must be separated for recycling or disposal, as toxic and hazardous components can cause lasting damage to the environment if disposed of incorrectly. 8. Notes on battery disposal

The customer can return used batteries that the supplier carries or has carried as new batteries free of charge to the supplier's dispatch warehouse (dispatch address). The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meaning: Pb = battery contains more than 0.004 per cent lead by mass, Cd = battery contains more than 0.002 per cent cadmium by mass, Hg = battery contains more than 0.0005 per cent mercury by mass.

The crossed-out dustbin symbol means that the battery must not be disposed of with household waste.
