5. Installation

Take the appliance out of the packaging and remove any packaging material and check the appliance for any damage. The fan heater must be placed on a flat surface. Ensure that the heater is placed at least 1m away from other objects, and not directly below a socket. A socket should be available for supplying power to the appliance.

Caution! Ensure that the appliance is not placed near any flammable materials or fluids, or with the air discharge pointing in these directions.

Note: To ensure that the heater works and heats properly, the desired temperature must be set on the heater so that it is a couple of degrees higher than the room temperature. If the heater does not seem to be heating, increase the desired temperature on the heater to activate the heating elements.

6. Commissioning

Connect the appliance to a 220-240V AC socket. Set the ON/OFF switch at the back of the appliance to position "I" to start the appliance. The heater then shows the current temperature in the display. To switch off the appliance, set the "ON/OFF" switch to the "0" position.

Press the "button" button on the control panel at the front of the fan. The ventilation starts now.

The appliance has two different heat settings. The heat settings are shown in the form of two suns in the display (see Chapter 4 under "Product details"). Press the temperature button "" to set a desired temperature. Temperatures between 10°C and 35°C can be set. As soon as the set temperature is less than or equal to the current air temperature, the heating function is switched off. The fan does not switch off and maintains the set temperature.

If the set temperature is 2^ C more than the current air temperature, then heat setting 1 (" symbol in the display) switches on and starts heating until the room temperature reaches the desired temperature. If the set temperature is 4^ C or more than the current room temperature, the heat setting 2 (two " symbols in the display) switches on and heats the room to the set temperature.

Timer function

Press the "button" button to switch on the timer. The timer function works in all the modes. Every time you press the timer button, the value increments by one hour, up to a maximum of 8 hours. Press the timer button again to reset the timer.

If the timer is set once, the countdown function starts counting down and switches off the appliance at the end of the timer count.
