The plugs are manufactured in accordance with the standards EN 50620 and EN62196-2 2017.
Proper use
The charging cable must only be used for electric and hybrid vehicles that are approved for this type and mode of charging. The cable must only be connected to the intended and approved charging stations. Any other use is not allowed. The user manual is valid for charging mode 3 with charging types 1 and 2. Follow the instructions in the manual, because only these instructions ensure safe charging and use of the charging cable.

3. Usage
To start charging
- Plug the type 2 socket (female) into the electric vehicle's input jack.
- Plug the type 2 plug (male) firmly into the socket of the AC charging station (EVSE).
- Lock your electric vehicle and the AC charging station (EVSE) charges the vehicle.
To stop charging
- Unplug the type 2 socket (female) from the vehicle outlet.
- Unplug the type 2 plug (male) from the EVSE outlet to disconnect the power supply.
- Stow the EV charging cable away.

- This is a mode 3 electric car (EV) charging cable specifically for electric cars with type 2 inputs. Do not use it for electric cars having other input types.
- This cable has a precise internal structure. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service. Please do not dismantle the product without professional technical support.
- The product is only suitable for charging electric vehicles. Please do not use it for other purposes, including towing, tying etc.
- Do not use the product if it is damaged.
• The device has to be earthed.
• Pay attention to the risk of electric shock or burn.
• This device does not contain any user serviceable parts.
6. Common problems
- Pins don't snap into place - When plugging in the cable, apply a little more force until the pins are properly connected to the charging station or electric vehicle.
- Charging settings on the electric vehicle - Make sure that no timers or other settings are turned on in the vehicle.
- The vehicle is locked - The vehicle must be unlocked and switched off to start charging.
- Plugging in another cable - This cable must be plugged directly into a type 2 socket.
7. Cleaning
Caution! Pull out the power plug from the vehicle and the charging station before starting to clean! The cable must not be connected!
Use a dry cloth for cleaning. The device must never be immersed in water for cleaning or come into contact with water. This could lead to electric shock or fire!
8. Safety instructions and disclaimer
Never try to open the device to repair or make modifications. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not waterproof, hence please use it only in dry surroundings. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Keep the device away from high temperatures.
Do not expose the device to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic components. Check the device for any damage before using it. The device should not be used if it was subject to impact or has been damaged in some other manner. Please comply with the local regulations and restrictions. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in the user manual. This product is not a toy.
Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally disabled persons. Any repair or modifications to the device, which is not carried out by the original supplier will void any warranty and guarantee claims. The device should only be used by those who have read and understood this user manual. The specifications of the device may be changed without prior notice.
9. Disposal instructions
In line with the European WEEE directive, electrical and electronic devices should not be disposed of along with domestic waste. Their components have to be separately sent for recycling or disposal, because improper disposal of toxic and dangerous components may permanently damage the environment. According to the electrical and electronic equipment act (ElektroG), you are obliged (as a consumer) to return (free of charge) electrical and electronic devices to the manufacturer, the point of sale or public collection points at the end of their service life. The relevant local laws regulate the details in this regard.
