The Deluxe Mass is based on the ancient therapy of reflexology that has been in use for more than 5,000 years.

Reflexology is based on the theory that the foot reflects the entire body. Vigorous massaging of parts of the foot benefits the whole body.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

• Fill the DELUXE MASS unit with water up to the «MAX. —» level.
• Place the unit on a flat, horizontal surface.
  The unit contains interchangeable accessories, which allow you to select the type of massage and foot care you desire.
• Plug in the unit and select the programme of your choice.
• The DELUXE MASS unit may only be used with water.
• The 3 programmes allow the user to heat water and to maintain the temperature of the water.

• Select the type of massage using the programme control button, which ranges from 1 to 3:

• Vibrating massage (with or without water) and infrared heating lamp

• Hydro-massage and rotating massage head

• Vibrating hydro-massage, infrared heating lamp, rotating massage head.

• Ensure that you are sitting down and place your feet inside the unit.
  After completing your session (maximum20 minutes), turn off the unit, dry your feet and then unplug the unit before emptying.

• Empty the unit by tilting it in order to pour out the water via the pouring spout (at the opposite end to the control selector switch).

Never let water pour onto the control selector switch.

• Dry the inside of the DELUXE MASS unit using a soft, dry cloth, then store the unit in a dry place.
• This unit may not be used without water. Ensure that it is correctly filled when in use and that there is sufficient water to reach the water level mark («max. —»).

When using an electrical appliance, it is essential at all times to follow certain safety rules, including the following:

In order to reduce the risk of burning, fire, electrocution or injury, please respect the following rules:

• Always disconnect the appliance immediately after use and before cleaning.
• Do not touch an appliance that falls into water but disconnect it immediately.
• Never use the appliance whilst taking a bath or shower.
• Do not place or store the appliance in a place where it could fall into or become immersed in a bath or sink; do not place or immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
• An appliance should never be left unattended when it is plugged in. Remove the electrical plug of the appliance when not in use and each time you fit or remove elements or accessories.
• This equipment is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with reduced mental, sensorial or physical faculties, nor by persons lacking experience or comprehension, unless they have received, from persons responsible for their safety, either supervision or prior instruction concerning the use of the equipment. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the equipment.
• Only use the appliance for the intended purpose and in accordance with the instructions in this manual. Never use accessories not recommended by Lanaform, in particular accessories not supplied with the appliance.
• Never use the appliance if the cable is damaged, if it does not function correctly, if it has fallen or become damaged, or if it falls into water or any other liquid.
• Never place the cable on a hot surface.
• Never obstruct the air inlets of the appliance and never place it on an unstable surface such as a bed or settee, which could obstruct the air inlets. Ensure that no ribbons, hair, etc. obstruct the air inlets.
• Never use the appliance when you are asleep and do not fall asleep whilst using the appliance.
• Never allow the appliance to fall and never insert any object into any opening.
• Never use the appliance at the same time as sprays or aerosols or when oxygen is being administered.
• Never use the appliance under a blanket or pillow. It could overheat and cause a fire, electrocution or injury.
• Do not carry the appliance by the power supply cable or use it as a handle.
• To disconnect the appliance, place the indicator on ZERO then remove the plug (except if the appliance has been immersed).
• This appliance is designed for domestic use only.
• Always check the temperature of the water before placing your feet in the Deluxe Mass.
• Do not stand up in the appliance. Sit down and then place your feet in the Deluxe Mass.
  Always disconnect the appliance when not in use and when you fi II, empty, clean or move it.
• Make sure your hands are dry when you plug in or remove the electrical plug.

CAREFULLY RETAIN THESE INSTRUCTIONS

• If you have any concerns about your health, consult your doctor before using Deluxe Mass.
• We recommend that persons with a pacemaker should consult a doctor before using this product.
• In the event of pregnancy, diabetes or illness, we recommend that you consult a doctor before using Deluxe Mass.
• We do not recommend using this product for more than 20 minutes at a time. Excessive use could cause the Deluxe Mass to overheat. In this case, stop using it and allow the appliance to cool before using it again.
• If you suffer from muscular or joint pains for a prolonged period, stop using the product and consult a doctor. Persistent pain may be a symptom of a more serious injury.
• Never use the appliance if you have an open wound, on a discoloured part of the skin or on any part of the body that is swollen, burnt or inflamed, or on parts of the body suffering from outbreaks of spots or pain, without first consulting a doctor.
• Massage should be pleasant and comfortable. In the event of pain or irritation, stop using the appliance and consult your doctor.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Disconnect the appliance and allow it to cool before cleaning. Clean only with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Always ensure that no water or any other liquid comes into contact with the selector control.

After cleaning the appliance, wipe it with a dry cloth.
- Never use abrasive products, detergents or cleaning products.
- Regularly straighten the power cable to prevent it becoming twisted.
- Store your Deluxe Mass in a dry place.

TWO YEARS GUARANTEE

LANAFORM® offers a two-year guarantee on the Deluxe Mass from the date of purchase against defective materials and manufacturing defects, with the following exceptions:

The guarantee on the Deluxe Mass does not cover damage resulting from incorrect or abusive use, accident, and the use of unauthorized accessories or other conditions outside of the control of LANAFORM. LANAFORM may not be held responsible for any type of accidental, indirect or specific damage. All guarantees, including but not limited to guarantees of proper functioning and commercialization, are limited to a period of one year as from the date of purchase.

To make a claim under guarantee on your LANAFORM® Deluxe Mass, simply hand it in to your dealer or send it to LANAFORM® by mail accompanied by your sales receipt. LANAFORM® will carry out the necessary repairs or replace it, as appropriate. Guarantee claims may only be made through LANAFORM. Any repair or maintenance carried out by persons other than LANAFORM® may render the guarantee invalid.
