USER MANUAL MWC-05 MPM

• Read the manual carefully before use.

• Take extra care, do not leave the appliance unattended when children are around.

• Do not hang the wire on sharp edges and do not let it touch hot surfaces.

• Do not let the power cord hang off the edge of the table/countertop.

• Broken device must not be used, also if the wire or plug is damaged - in such case have the device repaired in an authorised service point.

• The use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may cause the device damage or body injuries.

• Do not put the device, the wire or the plug into water or other liquids – the wire and the plug must be dry at all times.

• Never leave a device in operation without supervision.

• Place the unit on a dry, flat and stable surface.
• Do not put the device near heat sources.
• Do not use the device inappropriately.
• Do not use the squeezeer outdoors.
• Do not leave the device without break for more than 2 minutes.
• This appliance is intended for household use only.
• This equipment may be used by children of at least 8 years of age and by persons of diminished physical and mental capacity and persons with inexperience and lack of familiarity with the equipment, if supervision or instruction is provided on how to use the equipment safely so that the associated risks are understood. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children unless they are at least 8 years old and are supervised. Cleaning/ maintenance must not be carried out by unsupervised children.
• Children must not play with the device.
• Store the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
• Do not remove the plug from the mains by pulling by the cord.
• The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

• Do not plug the power cord with wet hands.

• Keep your children safe: do not leave any parts of the pack aging readily accessible (i.e. plastic bags, cardboard boxes, polystyrene inserts, etc.).

• Cleaning of the appliance, especially of the parts in direct contact with food, must be carried out before first use, immediately after use or when the appliance has not been used for a long time – for the procedure see the chapter "CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE".
• Do not use sharp objects, abrasive pastes, solvents or other strong che agents for cleaning – their use may damage the appliance.

BEFORE A FIRST USE

1. Wash the juice pot and accessories in warm water with some detergent.
2. Flush the pot and accessories and dry them.

ASSEMBLY

One base (6) put the juice pot (5) and turn it clockwise. Put the separator (3) on the pot (5). Put the squeezing cone (2) on the engine's mandrel. The unit is ready to operate.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

1. Plug the unit.
2. Cut the citrus fruit in half and place them on the cone of the squeezeer pressing down sensitively. The second hand must hold the unit.
3. The squeezeer will operate automatically. The cone will twist right or left.
4. The direction of twisting can be changed by re-pushing the cone. In this manner the juice is extracted.

NOTE! In order to change the direction of twisting cone sometimes it is necessary to push it several times. Do not exceed 2 minutes of constant unit operation time. After the afore-mentioned time has lapsed switch the unit off and wait a few minutes before switching it on!

1. Lowering of the pressure on the cone automatically makes the unit switched off. Remove the half of a fruit from the cone.
2. After extraction has been completed, remove the squeezing cone and the separator, remove the pot turning it counterclockwise and pour the juice into glasses

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Before you start cleaning, make sure that the device is disconnected from mains.
2. Take out a squeezeer's cone, a strainer, a container for juice and wash them in running water. After washing, accessories should be thoroughly rinsed and dried up.
3. The case can be cleaned with a wet cloth with detergent. It cannot be submerged into water.
4. No sharp objects, abrasive pastes, solvents or other strong chemical agents can be used for cleaning – their use may cause damage of the device.
5. After the unit has been washed and dried, fasten the protective cover.
