Before use make sure to read all of the below instructions in order to avoid injury or damage, and to get the best results from the appliance. Make sure to keep this manual in a safe place. If you give or transfer this appliance to someone else make sure to also include this manual.

In case of damage caused by user failing to follow the instructions in this manual the warranty will be void. The manufacturer/importer accepts no liability for damages caused by failure to follow the manual, a negligent use or use not in accordance with the requirements of this manual.

  1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  2. Children shall not play with the appliance.
  3. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  4. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  5. Unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning.
  6. The appliance is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking.
  7. Before inserting the plug into the mains socket, please check that the voltage and frequency comply with the specifications on the rating label.
  8. If an extension cord is used it must be suited to the power consumption of the appliance, otherwise overheating of the extension cord and/or plug may occur. There is a potential risk of injuries from tripping over the extension cord. Be careful to avoid dangerous situations.
  9. Ensure that the mains cable is not hung over sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects and open flames.

  15. Keep the fabric steamer and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years of age when it is energized or cooling down.
  16. The fabric steamer must not be left unattended while it is connected to the supply mains.
  17. This appliance is not designed for commercial use.
  18. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
  19. Never use the appliance if damaged in anyway.
  20. When leaving, even when only for a short while, always unplug the appliance.
  21. Burns can occur from touching hot parts, hot water or steam.
  22. Unplug from power outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, filling, emptying water reservoir and before cleaning.
  23. When the appliance is hot, grasp it only by the handle.
  24. Care should be taken when using the appliance due to the emission of steam.
  25. Do not open the water reservoir while the appliance is in use. Allow the appliance to cool down completely before filling.
  26. Never iron clothing while still wearing it! Never turn the steam toward people or animals. Injury may occur.

Caution, hot surface.

WARNING!! Please do not touch surface while in use. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating.

  1. The appliance allows the user to steam garment with a large flow of steam. High temperatures are generated during use which could cause burns. Always position your hands at the neck of the appliance when holding it and warn others (especially children) of the possible dangers of burns from steam, hot water or hot parts, especially when steaming vertically.

  2. Do not touch the steam head during use. When using the appliance, make sure the steam head is facing away from you and in an upright position.

  3. Always ensure the appliance is properly assembled before use. Only use the attachments or accessories provided and specified in this manual.

  4. Do not use outdoors or in bathrooms.

  5. Allow the appliance to cool completely before storing. Do not store it with water in the water tank. Always empty the water tank after use.

  6. The appliance must be used and rested on a stable surface. Do not place the appliance near the edge of a bench or table during operation. Ensure that the surface is level, clean and free of water and other substances.

  7. The appliance is designed for household use and to be used with the tap water. Do not put perfume, vinegar, or other chemicals in the tank. This appliance is not designed to work with these chemicals.

  8. The appliance incorporates a thermal safety fuse to protect from overheating. Special care should always be taken when there are children in the vicinity of the appliance.

  9. Position the appliance at a minimum distance of 20cm away from walls, curtains and other heat or steam sensitive materials and provide adequate space above and on all sides for air circulation.

  10. Do not fill the water tank exceed the "MAX" indicator line as this may cause the water to leak.

  11. There may be leakage from the steam head if the appliance temperature is not high enough to vaporize water and create steam. Therefore, ensure that the appliance is always preheated for 2-3 minutes prior to use.

BEFORE USE (Assembling/operating your appliance)

  1. Remove all packaging material. Make sure the appliance is unplugged.
  2. Hold the water tank and rotate off the main body by the handle. Open the rubber cover of the water tank and fill it with water by using the provided measuring cup, making sure the water is not above the "MAX" level marked on the water tank. Close the cover tightly and rotate back the main body.
    Note: Your appliance has been designed to be used with tap water. In case you live in an area with very hard water, fast scale build-up may occur. Therefore, it is recommended to use distilled water to prolong the lifetime of your appliance. Do not put perfume, vinegar, starch, descaling agents, ironing aids or other chemicals in the water tank, as your appliance is not designed to work with these chemicals.
  3. Attach the fabric brush onto the steam head until it's locked in position with a click sound.
  4. Allow it to preheat before use. Plug in the appliance. Press the power button, the indicator light will flash and the appliance will begin to heat up. When the light stops flashing and remains illuminated, the preheating is finished. Now your appliance is ready to use.
  5. Press the steam button, the appliance will send out steam; press the steam button again, the appliance will stop sending out steam.
  6. Press the power button again, for 2 seconds the appliance will power off and the indicator light will turn off.
  7. This appliance is equipped with an intelligent automatic power off function. When users stop operating the appliance over a certain time, the internal control circuit will cut off the power supply preventing an accident and can save electricity. To restart your appliance, press the power button and the unit will begin to heat up again.

Note:

When operating the appliance for the first time:

  • allow it to steam for a few minutes. This will remove any impurities and odours that might have been left by the manufacturing process;
  • you may want to try it on an old piece of fabric before steaming your garment. Always test the appliance on a small part of the fabric to be steamed to ensure the temperatures is not too high for the fabric.

Warning:

To avoid an electrical circuit overload, it is recommended that no other appliances are plugged into the same circuit when your appliance is in use.

OPERATION (How to steam your garment)

The appliance is easy to use and is perfect for removing wrinkles/creases from garments and curtains as well as refreshing furnishing fabrics. It can be used on most fabrics as long as the fabric is hanging or where the appliance can be easily used in an upright position moving over the fabric in an up and down motion.

NOTE: the appliance is designed to be used in an upright position on hanging garments. Refrain from using the appliance in or on garments in a horizontal position.

  1. Check that there is ventilation behind the fabric otherwise moisture may build up causing mildew. Check that the garment pockets are empty and turn-ups such as cuffs and hems are down.

  2. Hang the garment from a hanger and stretch the fabric slightly with one hand checking that there is nothing behind the fabric that can be damaged by the steam.

NOTE: we recommend you do not steam over metal accessories. Use caution and steam around the metal accessories.

  1. Press the steam button. You will feel vibrations and hear a subtle humming sound while steaming; this is normal. Steam facing away from you and in an upright position.

  2. Gently press the fabric brush against the garment, moving your arm in an up and down motion targeting creases in the fabric.

  3. Press the steam button again to stop the steam.

NOTE: ensure that the fabric to be steamed is being stretched whilst steaming for best results.

WARNING: the appliance generates high temperatures of steam. Do not touch the steam head. Make sure the appliance is facing away from you in an upright position.

  1. If using the appliance without the fabric brush, keep a distance of at least 5cm between the steam head and the garment.

To steam curtains

  1. Wash and dry curtains as directed, according to the fabric type.
  2. Hang the curtains and steam when they are hanging in place.
  3. Lightly stretch the curtain with one hand while steaming to help remove creases more easily.

To steam upholstery

  1. The appliance can be used to help freshen up upholstery, slip covers on furniture and cushions from furniture. Before steaming, always test on a small area of the fabric that is not visible.
  2. Keep the appliance in an upright position and use an up and down motion. Lightly steam over the fabric of your furniture. Cushions should be removed and held upright for steaming. Allow cushions to dry thoroughly before replacing on the furniture.

Note:

  • It is recommended that you use the fabric brush attachment when steaming delicate fabrics such as silk. This will minimize the garment steam whilst steaming. For better result when removing stubborn creases, remove the fabric brush attachment from the steam head and continuously steam over the selected area until the creases are removed.
  • If the appliance becomes noisy with a loud humming sound and no steam is being generated, check the water level in the water tank. This may indicate that the appliance is out of water and needs to be refilled.

Warning:

  • If your garment has metal accessories, be cautious and do not steam directly over the metal as this may discolour the metal.
    • Always unplug the appliance before attaching or detaching the fabric brush.
    • Only use attachments or accessories provided.
  • Do not use the appliance directly on the body, animals, or while wearing the garments.

After each use

  • Press the power button to turn off the appliance and unplug it.
  • Open the water tank inlet and (over a sink or bucket) invert the water tank to empty the remaining water from the tank.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Before cleaning, ensure the appliance is disconnected from the power supply and has completely cooled down.

  2. Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth and then polish with a dry one.

  3. To prevent damage to the appliance do not use alkaline cleaning agents when cleaning, use a soft cloth and mild detergent. Never use souring pads, abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive liquids such as alcohol, petrol or acetone to clean the appliance.
  4. Remove the fabric brush from the steam head and clean using a damp cloth.
  5. Do not attempt to disassemble the appliance.
  6. The appliance is designed for household use only and to be used with normal tap water. Do not put perfume, vinegar, or other chemicals in the tank. The appliance is not designed to work with these chemicals.
  7. Always empty the water tank after each use and rinse with clean water.
  8. Avoid operating the appliance in humid or moist places.
  9. Do not place the appliance near a heat source or direct sunlight.
  10. Always ensure the steam outlet hole is clean and free from scaling and not blocked.

Storage

Once the appliance has been disconnected from the mains power socket, allow it to cool, empty the water in the water tank and clean. It is recommended to wrap the mains power cable safely around the appliance and store in an upright position on a flat surface.
