Frequently Asked Questions - GORA 22 EDILKAMIN

How to turn on the GORA 22 boiler?

After connecting the power, press and hold the ON/OFF button on the display. The product turns to ON state and starts automatically. Set the desired room temperature with the +/- buttons.

What type of pellets to use?

Use only wood pellets of category A1 according to standard UNI EN ISO 17225-2. Do not burn waste, plastics, or other fuels.

What to do in case of H01 alarm?

The H01 alarm indicates insufficient airflow. Check that the door is tightly closed, perform regular cleaning (crucible, ash drawer), and check the flue and air intake.

How to adjust the room temperature?

From the display in ON state, use the +/- buttons to adjust the temperature. The setpoint is shown at the bottom of the display. The product modulates or turns off automatically when the setpoint is reached.

Is a buffer tank required?

A buffer tank (inertial storage) is recommended but not mandatory. It relieves the boiler from sudden demands, reduces consumption, and facilitates integration with other heat sources. Edilkamin recommends at least 20 l/kW.

What hydraulic accessories are available?

Edilkamin offers four optional internal kits: KIT B-FX (without DHW), KIT R-FX (with separator), KIT R2-FX (without DHW with separator), and KIT RW-FX (for instantaneous DHW, recommended for 22 kW). Instructions are provided with each kit.

How to clean the crucible?

When the boiler is off and cold, open the flap, remove the crucible (2), and empty residues into the ash drawer. Remove crusts and blockages from the slots. Do not discharge residues into the pellet drawer. Vacuum the inside of the firebox.

What does the message 'Clean - exchg.' mean?

This message appears after approximately 2000 hours of operation. It indicates that maintenance by an authorized technician is required. The product continues to operate, but you should schedule seasonal maintenance.

Can the boiler be installed in a bedroom?

No, installation in a bedroom, bathroom, or room with fire risk is prohibited. The room must comply with local standards (in Italy, UNI 10683) and have an external air intake of at least 80 cm².

How to activate the timer programming (Chrono)?

Access the menu with the M button, select CHRONO, then ACTIVATE. Configure temperature levels T1, T2, T3 and time slots. The Timer symbol appears on the display when the function is active.
