Î Keep these safety instructions for future references. Î Do not use this apparatus near water or liquid. Î Only clean with a dry and soft cloth. Î Do not block any aperture (vents) of the device. Î Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, stoves, or any other apparatus (including ampliers) that produce heat. Î Only use accessories specied by the manufacturer. Î Be sure that the stand/table/furniture is strong enough to support the apparatus. Î Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particulary at the plugs and also protect the connector where it exit from the apparatus. Î Unplug the apparatus during lightning storms or when it’s unused for long periods of time. Î The plug of the apparatus must t with the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Apparatus should be connected to a mains socket outlet with protective earthing connection. UNPACKING Open the box, and take out the speakers and accessories. If you notice any defects in one of the elements as you unpack, please get in touch with your reseller. Before disposing of the packaging, make sure there is nothing left inside. Each box contains : Î 1 x active SENSA speaker Î 1 x passive SENSA speaker Î 1 x remote (pull out the plastic tab from the battery compartment before use) Î 8 x adhesive anti-slip feet to place below the speakers Î 1 x AC power cord Î 1 x 3 meters speaker cable to link the speakers Î 1 x RCA cable to connect your sources Î 1 x 1/8-inch (3.5mm) jack cable to connect your sources INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS Before the installation Before making any connections, turn off the devices. Be sure to always set the active speaker switch to OFF before removing or plugging connection cables. Do not plug in the power cord before all connections are made. Moving the device Always remove the power cord and disconnect the cables between all components when moving the device. This will prevent a short-circuit or the damage to the plugs or connection cables. Before turning on the device Check one last time if all the connections are correct. Location to avoid Install your speakers in a temperate place and avoid humid locations or direct sunlight. Recycling Protection of the environment: Your products contain valuable materials which can be recovered or recycled. Take them to the appropriate collection points.21
POWERING To protect the bottom of your speakers, we recommend using the rubber feet provided. They also make it possible touncouple the speakers, thus reducing the transmission of vibrations. Connecting the speakers The SENSA speakers must be interconnected with the 3 meters speaker cable provided (black cable mentioning “High performance OFC cable”). Ensure that the speaker connection polarity is correct: the red and black terminals on the passive and active speakers must be connected respectively to one another. To aid with the setup, the connection cable includes a colour-coding system, the colour blue is dedicated to the red terminal (+) and the colour brown to the black terminal (-). Powering on Once you have checked the amplier on the active speaker is set to the “OFF” position, plug the power cord into the designated input and into an AC power outlet. The speakers are then ready for use and can be turned on.

When using the remote, always direct it towards the receiver on the front of the main speaker. The LED on the front panel blinks when the remote is being used.24
CONNECTING SOURCES The SENSA speakers can be paired with a variety of sources. Here are the various options : Connection via Bluetooth SENSA lets you play music from any Bluetooth-enabled sources: smartphone, tablet, computer... To do so : Î Slide the power switch on the back to the ON position to activate your SENSA speakers. Î Select the “Bluetooth” input using the remote or the “INPUT” button on the back of the speaker. The blue LED indicates that the source is connected via “Bluetooth”. Î When selecting the source, the LED is blinking blue indicating that the system is seeking to connect to a Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet...). Î When you search on your Bluetooth device (refer to the owner’s guide if needed), the SENSA speakers should appear under the name "SENSA SN01A" or "SENSA SN03A", you can then connect to them. Your speakers are now linked to your device and will reproduce the sound from the device. The connection will be done automatically next time you switch on your speakers if Bluetooth is selected and enabled on your device. Î If you wish to connect another device while the previous one is still connected, press and hold the “PAIRING” button on back of the speaker for 2 seconds. The previously paired-device will automatically be disconnected and the seeking mode (blinks of the blue LED) of the speaker activated. Repeat the previous step to connect your new device. Î SENSA’s Bluetooth interaction allows you to change track, play and pause directly from your remote, without using the connected device. Î Your Bluetooth device now controls your speakers and you can change the volume directly from this device.25
Connection via an RCA cable An RCA cable (included) enables you to connect your SENSA speakers to your television, CD player or other devices. To do so : Î Plug the red and white connectors into “RCA INPUT” on the back of the SENSA speaker, following the colours and do the same on the source. Î Select the “RCA” input using the remote or the “INPUT” button on the back of the active speaker. The green LED indicates that the source is connected to the “RCA” input. Your system is ready to operate. Connection via an RCA cable for turntables An RCA cable (not included) enables you to connect your SENSA speakers to your turntable. To do so : Î Plug the red and white connectors into “RCA INPUT” on the back of the SENSA speaker, following the colours and do the same on the source. Î Attach the ground cable connector to the designated terminal on the amplier. Î Select the “RCA” input using the remote or the “INPUT” button on the back of the active speaker. The green LED indicates that the source is connected to the “RCA” input. Your system is ready to operate.26
Connection via a 1/8-inch (3.5mm) jack cable A 1/8-inch (3.5mm) jack cable (included) enables you to connect your SENSA speakers to many devices: smartphone, audio player, tablet, computer, television... To do so : Î Plug one end of the jack connector into the “AUX INPUT” terminal and the opposite end into your device. Î Select the “AUX” input using the remote or the “INPUT” button on the back of the active speaker. The white LED indicates that the source is connected to the “AUX” input. Your system is ready to operate. Connection via an optical cable : The optical input enables you to connect your SENSA speakers to any audio devices with an optical output: audio player, DVD player, television... To do so: Î Plug one end of the optical cable into the back of the SENSA active speaker in the “OPT INPUT” and the opposite end into your device. Î Select the “OPTICAL” input using the remote or the “INPUT” button on the back of the active speaker. The purple LED indicates that the source is connected to the “OPTICAL” input. Your system is ready to operate.27
Connecting amplied external devices such a subwoofer Your SENSA speakers can be paired with a subwoofer or an additional pair of SENSA speakers. To do so, follow the designated colours to connect an RCA cable to the RCA OUTPUT and to your second system (please refer to the user manual of the second device), you can then use a subwoofer or connect an additional pair of amplied speakers. The signal will then be delivered to the second system. The level will be adjusted on the main speaker. For the subwoofer, depending on the type of connections, you can use a Y split RCA cable.28
BASS AND TREBLE ADJUSTMENT
Your SENSA speakers have a band equalizer that enables you to adjust the low and high frequencies as you like. Adjusting the amount of bass: 6 positions available in 2dB steps over a range between 30 and 400Hz. (-6dB, -4dB, -2dB, 0dB, +2dB, +4dB, +6dB). The factory setting defaults to 0dB. The low-frequency output will increase or decrease each time the remote control is pressed. Adjusting the amount of treble: 6 positions available in 2dB steps over a range between 2 and 30KHz. (-6dB, -4dB, -2dB, 0dB, +2dB, +4dB, +6dB). The factory setting defaults to 0dB. The high-frequency output will increase or decrease each time the remote control is pressed. When the speaker goes on standby, the settings will be stored for the next use. To restore the factory presets, you just need to press the “RESET” button on the remote.
AUTO STANDBY FEATURE
If no signal is received for 15 minutes, the speakers will automatically switch to standby. To exit the standby mode, simply switch the speakers back on with the remote. HOW THE LED ON THE FRONT PANEL WORKS The LED on the front panel switches off automatically after 10 seconds to avoid visual discomfort while using the product. Pressing on a button on the remote will turn the LED back on for 10 seconds.29
