How to install the EMW7440GW washing machine?

Place the machine on a flat, hard surface. Remove the transport bolts at the rear. Connect the water inlet and drainage hose. Plug into an earthed socket.

What to do if the machine does not turn on?

Check that the plug is properly inserted and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Ensure the door is fully closed. A power failure may also be the cause.

How to clean the pump filter?

Unplug the machine. Open the flap at the bottom right, unscrew the filter cap and remove impurities. Place a container to collect residual water.

Which program to use for white cotton?

Use the Intensive 60°C program for heavily soiled cotton garments. For normal washing, the Intensive 40°C program is suitable.

The machine vibrates a lot during spinning, what to do?

Ensure the transport bolts have been removed. Check that the machine is level and the feet are properly adjusted. Distribute the laundry evenly in the drum.

How to descale the washing machine?

Use a special washing machine descaler. Run an empty program at 60°C or 90°C with the product. Repeat every 2-3 months depending on water hardness.

What does the displayed error code EXX mean?

Refer to the manual for the exact meaning. For example, E01 may indicate a door lock problem. Restart the machine; if the error persists, contact after-sales service.

Can I open the door during a program?

The door remains locked for safety if the water level is too high or the drum is turning. Wait for the cycle to finish or activate the Stop with water in drum function if available, then drain before opening.

How to maintain the door seal?

After each wash, wipe the rubber seal with a dry cloth. Leave the door slightly open to prevent mould. Regularly clean detergent residues.

What is the water consumption per cycle?
