How to correctly install the EMW9545VPDINOX washing machine?

Installation requires removing the 4 transport bolts at the back, connecting the cold water inlet hose, securing the drain hose (height between 60 and 100 cm) and balancing the appliance by adjusting the feet. Make sure the machine rests on a solid, flat, dry surface, away from frost and heat sources.

Why does my washing machine display error code E30?

Code E30 means the door is not closed properly. Check that no clothing is trapped and close the door firmly. Then restart the program.

How to use the steam function (SteamCare)?

The SteamCare function is available with the Cotton, Mixed, Bedding and Baby clothes programs. Press the corresponding button before starting the cycle. Cannot be combined with pre-wash or quick wash. You will see steam in the drum.

What is the initial calibration for and how to perform it?

Calibration allows the machine to detect the load and optimize consumption. To do this, remove all accessories, close the door, plug in the machine, turn it on, then press simultaneously on Temp. and Dirt level for 10 seconds until 't19' is displayed, then press Start/Pause. Wait for '*****' to appear.

How to clean the drain pump filter?

Turn off and unplug the appliance. Open the service filter at the bottom right, turn the filter counterclockwise, remove it and clean it. Warning: hot water may drain. Perform this operation every 3 months.

What are the available wash programs?

The machine offers 13 programs: Cotton, Synthetics, Mixed, Bedding, Baby clothes, 20°C, Self-cleaning, Spin only, Rinse and spin, Wool, ECO 40-60, Intensive and Express 15'. Choose according to the fabric type and degree of soiling.

How to activate child lock?

Press simultaneously the Delay start and SteamCare buttons for 3 seconds. A beep sounds and the indicator lights up. To deactivate, repeat the same action. The lock prevents any action on the buttons except ON/OFF.

Why does my laundry come out very wet after spinning?

Check the selected spin speed. You can increase it up to 1400 rpm via the Spin button. Also make sure the load is balanced; washing a single garment can cause imbalance and reduce spin efficiency.

How to set a delayed start?

Select a program, press the Delay start button to choose a delay from 0 to 24 hours, then press Start/Pause. To cancel, press Delay start until '0h' is displayed, or turn off and on.

What to do in case of water leakage under the machine?

Check the connections of the inlet and drain hoses. Tighten the fittings if necessary. Make sure the drain pump filter is properly closed. Clean the water inlet filter if flow is low. If the problem persists, contact technical service.

COMMERCIAL GUARANTEE CONDITIONS FOR WHITE PRODUCTS

This appliance has a two-year repair guarantee, from the date of sale, against all malfunctions originating from manufacturing, including labor and spare parts. To justify the purchase date, it will be mandatory to present the invoice or purchase receipt. This guarantee will only be effective in Spain.

GUARANTEE EXCLUSIONS

1. Remote controls, drain intake rubbers, dockings and door seals, weather stripping.
2. Damage to enamels, paints, nickel plating, chrome plating, oxidation or other types of aesthetic parts or components that do not affect the internal functioning of the appliance.
3. Damage to wear parts due to use, corrosion or oxidation, whether caused by normal use of the appliance or accelerated deterioration due to unfavorable environmental or climatic circumstances. Not suitable for outdoor use.
4. Damage to fragile pieces of glass, glass ceramic, plastics, handles, baskets, doors or light bulbs when their failure or breakage is not attributable to a manufacturing defect.
5. Faults produced by fortuitous causes or accidents of force majeure, or as a consequence of abnormal, negligent or inappropriate use of the device.
6. Civil liabilities of any nature.
7. Consequential damage to the appliance as long as it has not been caused by an internal malfunction.
