What to do if I cannot access the internet?

Check that your SIM card is compatible with LTE/WCDMA and that it is in a service area with sufficient balance. Log in to the router's web interface via http://tendawifi.com to start diagnostics. Enable data roaming if necessary. If the problem persists, contact technical support.

How to reset the router?

Once the startup is complete, press the WPS/RST button for about 8 seconds. Release when all LEDs turn off and then on again. The router will be reset in about two minutes.

How to access the router's web interface?

Connect your device to the router's Wi-Fi network or via an Ethernet cable. Open a browser and type http://tendawifi.com or http://192.168.0.1 in the address bar. Make sure mobile data is turned off on your smartphone and that the device receives an IP address automatically.

How to change the Wi-Fi password?

Log in to the router's web interface. Go to Wi-Fi Settings > Wi-Fi Name and Password. Enter a new password and confirm. Note that all connected devices will need to reconnect with the new password.

How to enable automatic failover between SIM and WAN?

Log in to the router's web interface. Go to Internet Settings and enable the Failover function. Insert a SIM card (4G) and connect the Ethernet cable to the WAN/LAN port. The router will automatically fail over in case of network outage.

What if I forgot my Wi-Fi password?

Connect a computer to the router via an Ethernet cable. Access the web interface, then Wi-Fi Settings > Wi-Fi Name and Password. The current password will be displayed.

How to use the WPS function?

Press the WPS/RST button briefly (about 3 seconds) to start WPS negotiation. On your device, enable WPS in the Wi-Fi settings. The Internet LED will blink quickly during connection.

How to update the router's firmware?

Go to Tenda's official website and download the firmware corresponding to your model 4G03 Pro. Log in to the web interface, go to Administration > Firmware Update. Select the downloaded file and start the update. Do not turn off the router during the operation.

What to do if the router overheats?

Place the router in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight. Avoid covering the ventilation holes. If overheating persists, reduce the number of connected devices or network load.

How to know if the 4G signal is good?

Observe the Signal LED on the router: 3 bars indicate good signal, 2 bars medium signal, 1 bar weak signal. You can also check the web interface under the Internet Status tab to see the signal strength.

Q1: What should I do if I cannot access the internet?

A1:

• Check that your SIM card supports LTE or WCDMA.
• Check that your SIM card is in your ISP's service area.
• Check that your SIM card balance is sufficient.
• Start a web browser on the device connected to the router, and access http://tendawifi.com. You will be redirected to the troubleshooting page. Then, perform troubleshooting as prompted on the page.
• Confirm with your ISP if you are in a roaming service area. If yes, log in to the web user interface of the router and navigate to Internet Settings to enable Data Roaming.

A2: First, try to visit http://tendawifi.com or

http://192.168.0.1 in the address bar (not the search bar). If you log in with a Wi-Fi-enabled device, such as a smartphone:

• Ensure that your smartphone is connected to the Wi-Fi network of the router.
• Disable the cellular network of your smartphone.
• Clear the cache of your web browser or use another web browser and try again.

If you log in with a wired device, such as a computer:

• Ensure that the computer has connected to the router properly.
• Ensure that the computer is set to Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically.
• Clear the cache of your web browser or use another web browser and try again.

If the problem persists, refer to Q3 to reset the router and try again.

Q3: How to reset the router?

A3: When the device completes startup, press the WPS/RST button for about 8 seconds, and release it when all indicators light off and then light up. The router will be reset successfully in about two minutes.

Q4: How do I access the internet through the SIM card or (and) WAN port?

A4: Connect your smartphone to the router's Wi-Fi, log in to the router's web user interface, and enable the Failover function on the Internet Settings page. Insert a SIM card (if available), connect the WAN/LAN port to the internet using an Ethernet cable, and configure the corresponding internet parameter.

Tips

- When you access the internet through the SIM card and WAN port, the WAN port is prioritized for internet access by default. You can manually switch the SIM card or WAN port to the current internet connection method on the Internet Status page as required.

- If there is a network failure, the router will automatically switch to an available internet connection method.

Q5: What should I do if I forget my Wi-Fi password?
