Frequently Asked Questions - EOC6H56H ELECTROLUX

How to use steam cooking on the Electrolux EOC6H56H?
For steam cooking, open the water tank lid, fill it with 900 ml of water, then replace it. Select the steam cooking mode with the knob, set the temperature, and place the food in a suitable dish. Use the injection tube for direct cooking. Do not open the door during cooking to avoid burns.
How to clean the oven with the Aqua Clean function?
Pour 300 ml of water into the cavity tray, select the Aqua Clean function (or activate Top/Bottom mode), set the temperature to 90 °C and let it run for 30 minutes. After cooling, wipe the interior with a soft cloth. This method uses moisture to loosen grease.
What to do if the display shows 00:00?
This means a power outage occurred. You need to set the current time again. Turn the cooking modes knob to the menu, select Current time, then adjust with the control knob and confirm with OK.
How to use the timer?
Press the clock function key (usually a clock icon) to access the timer. Turn the control knob to set the desired time, then press OK. The countdown starts immediately. Once finished, an audible signal sounds.
How to change the oven bulb?
Turn off the appliance and unplug it. Let it cool. Turn the glass diffuser of the rear bulb. Replace with a suitable halogen lamp that withstands 300 °C (same specifications). Use a cloth to handle the bulb. Refit the diffuser.
Why is the steam cooking not working?
Check that the water tank is sufficiently filled and that the indicator is not off. Make sure there are no limescale residues in the steam inlet tube opening. If the problem persists, clean the tank and water circuit.
How to lock the control panel keys?
Press and hold the lock key (usually a padlock icon) until a beep sounds. The lock symbol is displayed. To deactivate, press and hold the same key again. This prevents accidental changes to settings.
What accessories are supplied with the oven?
The oven is supplied with a wire shelf, a baking tray, and a roasting pan. Telescopic rails are not included. For steam cooking, a food cooking dish (injector, tube, cover, grill, and bowl) is available separately.
How to set delayed start?
Select a cooking mode and set the temperature. Press the clock function key several times until Start appears. Turn the knob to choose the start time, confirm with OK. Then set the end time in the same way. The oven will turn on automatically.
What to do if water accumulates inside the oven?
If water appears in the cavity, check that the water tank is not overfilled. After steam cooking, leave the door open to dry. If the problem persists, drain the water tank via the drain tube and clean the circuit. Contact after-sales service if the indicator remains on despite a full tank.
