How to use the coffee maker for the first time?

Before first use, wash the removable parts with soapy water, then fill the water tank without coffee. Plug in and press the switch. Once the cycle is complete, rinse the carafe. You can then make your coffee as usual.

How much ground coffee should I use per cup?

Generally, one cup of coffee requires one scoop of ground coffee. You can adjust this amount according to your taste. Place the coffee in a paper filter in the filter holder.

Can I remove the carafe during coffee preparation?

Yes, thanks to the anti-drip system, you can remove the carafe for up to 30 seconds to serve. The flow stops automatically. Replace the carafe quickly to avoid any overflow.

How long does the coffee stay hot after brewing?

The machine keeps the coffee warm for 40 minutes after brewing ends, then shuts off automatically. You can turn it off manually if you wish.

How to clean the coffee maker?

Always unplug the appliance and let it cool. Wash the removable parts (carafe, filter holder) in warm soapy water. Wipe the exterior surface and heating plate with a damp cloth. Never immerse the base or cord.

How to descale my Livoo DOD201 coffee maker?

Descale at least every 2 months. Use a commercial descaling agent or a mixture of 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water. Fill the reservoir to the max level, run for 1 minute, then let it sit for 30 minutes. Run a full cycle, discard the mixture, then rinse with 2 cycles of fresh water.

What type of coffee can I use?

This machine is designed for ground coffee only. Do not use coffee beans or pods. Use a paper filter (not included) suitable for the filter holder.

What to do if the machine does not turn on?

Check that the appliance is properly plugged in and the outlet works. Make sure the water tank does not exceed the MAX level. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

Can I use the machine outdoors?
