1. Before use check that the voltage of your wall
outlet corresponds to the rated voltage manner.
2. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard (*).
3. This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
4. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of
children aged less than 8 years.
5. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
6. Children shall not play with the appliance.
9. Close supervision is necessary when your
appliance is being used near children or infirm persons.
10. Do not place an appliance on or near a hot gas
or on a heated oven.
11. Do not use outdoors (Household use only).
12. The appliance is not intended to be operated by
means of external timer or separate remote-control system.
13. It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance
clean at all times as it comes into direct contact with food.
14. Regarding the instruction for cleaning surfaces

Warning: Never touch the hot parts of the
appliance (be careful, also the warm plate and the appliance is a hot part!). Only take the coffee maker by the handle. Technical Specifications 220-240V ~ 50-60Hz 1000W Drawing of the device( figure 1)
Before first use clean the detachable parts then fill the water tank. Do not add coffee. Plug power cord into the outlet and press on/off button. The appliance begins working. When the process is complete, rinse the glass pot. Use of the device Open the water tank lid and fill the water tank with water. The water level should not exceed MAX level as indicated on water gauge. Swing the funnel holder out. Put the funnel into funnel holder and then place the filter paper in the funnel. Add coffee into paper filter. Usually a cup of coffee needs one spoon of coffee powder. You may adjust the quantity according to your taste. Close the funnel holder. Insert the carafe on warming plate. Plug the power cord into the outlet. Start the device using the on/off button, the indicator will be illuminated and the appliance starts working. Upon completion of brewing coffee, after the coffee stops dripping out, you can remove the carafe, pour and serve. Turn off the coffee maker after use. Note: during brewing process you may remove the carafe to serve for a period not exceeding 30 seconds. The coffee maker will stop dripping automatically. If you do not want to serve immediately, keep the switch on. The coffee can be kept warm in the warming plate for 40 minutes and the appliance will be cut off automatically. Always turn the coffee maker off and disconnect the power supply after use. Cleaning and maintenance Do not forget to remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the appliance. Make sure that the appliance and especially the carafe are cool down before cleaning Do not wash the carafe immediately after the use in order to avoid thermal shock Clean the inside of the carafe with a soft brush in warm soapy water. Rinse with fresh water and dry it before next use. Wipe outside with soft, moist cloth when appliance is cold down completely, never use metal polish. Never immerse the cord, plug, or appliance itself in water. Descaling The appliance has to be descaled regularly (minimum twice a year). You can use descaling agent (In this case read carefully the instructions supplied with the product) or vinegar (one part vinegar to three parts water). The frequency depends on the water hardness. Generally, the descaling should be done every two months. Place the carafe onto the base. Fill the water tank up to the Max level with the prepared solution. Switch on the appliance during one minute. The switch it off and wait one half an hour. Press again the on/off button. Allow all of the cleaning solution to drip into the carafe. Throw out the cleaning solution and clean the carafe. Operate two more brewing cycles with water only to remove all descaling solution residues. Correct disposal of the unit (Electrical and Electronic Equipment). (Applicable in the European Union and the rest of Europe that have adopted separate collection systems countries). The European Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal household waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The symbol of the crossed out dustbin is marked on all products to remind the obligations of separate collection. Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their product.
