If only water comes out without brewing coffee, here are the checks to perform on your LIVOO DOD217:

1. Locking handle

Make sure the locking handle is fully lowered after inserting the Nespresso capsule. If it is not properly clipped, the capsule will not be pierced correctly and the water will flow through without passing through the coffee. Listen for or feel the locking "click".

2. Red indicator light

Check that the red light is stable (not blinking). According to the manual, this light blinks during heating and becomes steady when the machine is ready. If you start brewing too early, the flow and pressure may be insufficient to extract the coffee properly.

3. Water level in the tank

Ensure that the tank contains enough water between the MIN and MAX levels. A lack of water reduces pump pressure and prevents coffee extraction.

4. Intensity selector

Check that the water volume selector (levels 1 to 7) is not at the minimum level (1). A level that is too low produces very little coffee. Try starting with a mid-level (4 or 5).

5. Descaling

If all of this is correct, there may be slight clogging even though the machine is new. Perform a descaling with a mixture of 1 part white vinegar to 3 parts water, then let this mixture pass through the machine and rinse well with clear water.
