- Listen at high volume for long periods of time, may damage your hearing.

Avoid using it in the following cases:

Near strong heat sources, such as central heating plants or stoves.
- In very humid places such as bathrooms, swimming pools, etc.
- In very dusty places.
- In places subject to strong vibrations.

Position the appliance in such a way that there is always enough room for free air circulation (at least 5cm).

Do not block the air inlets.
- If any liquid enters the appliance, unplug it immediately from the socket and take it to the nearest TREVI authorised service centre.
- Before switching on the appliance, always check that the power cable and the connection cable are properly installed.
• No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on this. - The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing water and no object filled with water, such as vases, should be placed on the unit.
- Keep this manual for future reference.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
For cleaning it is recommended to use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid solvents or abrasive substances.
IMPORTANT
The construction of this device guarantees long flawless operation. However, if come some problem, you should consult your nearest authorized service center.
TREVI pursues a policy of continuous research and development. Therefore, the products may show different characteristics from those described.
WARNING FOR A CORRECT USE OF RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
- Recharge the battery in an ambient temperature between 5^ C and 35^ C.
- Don't recharge more than the suitable period to prevent the risk of overheating and burst.
- Recharging the battery over the suitable period or an extended period of inactivity may reduce battery duration.
- Rechargeable battery is liable to wear and tear and its performance will reduce gradually.
- To extend the duration of the battery use it when is completely charged up to the complete discharging, then recharge it fully before use it again. Recharge a battery not completely consumed, will result in reduced duration. In this case, repeat the full charging/discharging cycle many times.
- Avoid recharge the battery for the whole night.

CHARGE THE DEVICE
UNIT
The unit must be recharged when switched off.
I. Using the supplied cable, connect the side with the C-type socket to the socket (9) of the speaker and the other end to the USB port of a USB power supply (5V — IA not included);
2. The Led indicator (10) will turn on (red) to indicate the recharging function. When fully charged, it will turn off.
Note: when the battery is running low, the device will emit a beep a few times before turning off automatically.
MICROPHONE
The microphone must be recharged when switched off.
I. Using the supplied cable, connect the side with the C-type socket to the socket (16) of the speaker and the other end to the USB port of a USB power supply (5V — IA not included);
2. The Led indicator (15) will turn on (red) to indicate the recharging function. When fully charged, it will turn off.
BASIC OPERATION
ON/OFF
To switch On and Off the unit, press and hold ▶ II (3) button for a few seconds.
To switch On and Off the microphone, press and hold the key(11) for a few seconds.
Note: In Wireless and AUX IN mode, if there is no operation within 15 minutes, the unit will turn off automatically; to reactivate it, hold down the ⏻ ▶ II (3) button for a few seconds.
VOLUME ADJUSTMENT
Adjust the speaker volume using the +(1) and -(2) keys on the device.
Adjust the microphone volume using the +(12) and -(13) keys on the microphone.
WIRELESS OPERATION
Pairing to devices:
I. Place the speaker close to the Wireless device to pair;
2. Switch On the device and select the Wireless function using the M(5) key;
3. Follow the instructions of your external device to search for the speaker;
4. Search and pair the speaker named "XR 8A01";
5. Once pairing is successful (you will hear a confirmation tone) it will be possible play music tracks.
Note: When Wireless pairing with external devices fails, delete another one Wireless device in the connection list; restart the Wireless speaker and search for signal again.
Music playback management
- Hold down the +(1) button on the speaker for a few seconds to go to the next track, hold down the -(2) button for a few seconds to go to the previous track.
- Press the ⏻▶ II (3) key to pause; press it again to resume music playback.
- Hold down the M(5) key for a few seconds to lower the voice of the song being played and sing on it.
TF CARD/USB
I. Insert a TF Card or a USB memory in sockets (8) or (6) and turn on the device;
2. Playback will start automatically;
3. Hold down the -(2) key for a few seconds to go to the previous track, hold down the +(1) key for a few seconds to go to the next track;
4. Press ⏻ ▶ II (3) button to pause; press it again to resume music playback;
5. Press and hold the M(5) key for a few seconds to activate the track repeat/sequential playback function.
AUX
I. With the device switched on, connect any unit equipped with an audio output via the appropriate 3.5mm Jack cable to the AUX input (7);
2. The unit will automatically switch to this input;
3. Start playback from the external device. For all playback functions, refer to the manual of the external device.
RESET
Insert a pointed object all the way into the AUX input (7) to reach the RESET button.
LIGHTING EFFECTS
I. To view the various light effects available, press the key (4) repeatedly;
2. Press and hold the button (4) for a few seconds to completely deactivate/activate the light effects.
MICROPHONE
I. Turn on the microphone by holding down the key(II) for a few seconds;
2. Use the +(12) and -(13) keys on the microphone to adjust the volume;
3. Press the (11) button once to switch to the reverb function and press and hold the +(12) or -(13) button on the microphone to turn the reverb function on or off. Press again the (1) button to switch to volume adjustment.
4. Press the key (14) several times to vary the vocal effect.

BATTERY REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL POLICY
Attention: the removal and disposal operation is reserved exclusively to specialized technical personnel!
Regardless of the type of used battery, it must not be disposed of with household waste, fire or water. Each type of used battery must be recycled or disposed of at the appropriate dedicated collection centres.
To remove the battery:
I. Remove the grille covering the speaker by pulling it outwards;
2. Unscrew the 4 screws that fix the Led frame; disconnect and extract the Led frame;
3. Unscrew the 4 outermost screws and extract the internal black cabinet;
4. Unscrew the screws that secure the printed circuit board and those remaining in front of the speaker;
5. Separate the two plastic parts and locate the battery, disconnect and remove it.

Couplage aux appareils:
