How to install the TV stand?

Follow the instructions in the provided quick start guide. Attach the stand to the TV using the included screws. Make sure the TV is placed on a stable surface.

How to connect the TV to the Internet?

You can use a wired connection via the Ethernet port (RJ45 cable) or a Wi-Fi connection. Go to Settings > Network to configure the connection.

What to do if the remote control does not work?

Connect a USB drive formatted in FAT16 or FAT32. From the Source menu, select USB. Use the file manager to browse and play compatible videos, photos, or music.

Why is the image frozen (burn-in)?

Avoid displaying static images (logos, menus, games) for long periods. Reduce brightness and contrast. If a persistent image appears, it may be permanent. Use screen saver functions.

How to replace the remote control batteries?

Open the compartment on the back of the remote. Insert two AAA batteries observing the polarities (+/-). Do not mix used and new batteries, or different types.

What to do in case of a storm?

Unplug the power cable and all connection cables (antenna, Ethernet) to avoid damage from lightning. Wait for the storm to pass before reconnecting.

• The instructions shown below are a safer way to set up the TV, by fixing it to the wall and will avoid the possibility of it falling forwards and causing injury and damage.
• For this type of installation you will need a fastening cord A) Using one/both of the top wall-mounting holes and screws (the screws are already supplied in the wall mounting holes) fasten one end of the fastening chord/s to the TV. B) Secure the other end of the fastening chord/s to your wall.
• The software on your TV and the OSD layout can be changed without notice.

Warning:

• When turning off the set, use the standby button on the remote control. By long pressing of this button, TV will turn off and enter the energy saving standby mode to meet the eco-design requirements. This mode is default one.
• For the electrostatic discharge (ESD) test of EN55035, it was found that manual operation by Standby button ON/OFF switch is needed to resume normal operation as intended after the test.
• Do not use TV set directly after unpacking. Wait until TV warms up to the room temperature before using it.
• Never connect any external devices to a live appliance. Switch off not only the TV but also the devices which are being connected! Plug the TV plug into the wall socket after connecting any external devices and the aerial!
  Always make sure there is free access to the TV mains plug.
• The appliance is not designed for a use in a workplace fitted with monitors.

• The systematic use of headphones at high volume might lead to irreversible hearing damage.

• Ensure environmental disposal of this appliance and any components including batteries. When in doubt, please, contact your local authority for details of recycling.

Attaching the Stand

Please follow the instructions in Technical leaflet, located in the accessories bag.

Wall mounting the TV

1. Remove the four screws that are supplied in the wall mounting holes.
2. The wall mount can now be easily attached to the mounting holes on the rear of the TV.
3. Install the wall mounting bracket to the television as advised by the bracket manufacturer.

Some TVs come with spacers and longer screws for wall mounting. When fixing the wall mount brackets on model that has spacers supplied, instead of screws provided in TV wall mounting holes, we recommend the use of longer screws and spacers included in the accessory pack. Please put spacers into TV wall mounting holes, located on the back of the TV, then put wall brackets onto them. Attach the brackets and spacers to the TV using longer screws as shown below:

Getting started - initial set up

1. If rubber parts, foam parts or tape are attached to the TV frame, please remove them gently.

2. Using the antenna cable (not supplied), connect the TV to the antenna wall socket.

3. For connecting to the Internet with a wired connection connect a Cat 5/Ethernet cable (not included) from the TV to your broadband modem/rodter.

4. Insert the batteries supplied into the Remote control.
5. Connect the power cable to the Electrical outlet.
6. Then press Standby button to power on TV.
7. After turning the TV on, you will be welcomed by the First Time Installation menu.
8. Please select language for TV menu.
9. Please set desired settings in remaining screens of First installation menu.

This TV supports playback of a wide variety of fi le types from a USB drive. However, for data security reasons, Google limit the supported fi le system types.

To playback any media from a USB storage drive, the USB drive must be formatted to a FAT16 or FAT32 file system. NTFS is not supported.
