Frequently Asked Questions - AVerVision M5 AVERMEDIA

How to capture a still image with the M5?

Press the capture button for 1 second. The image is saved via the AVerTouch software.

How to record a video?

Press the capture button for 3 seconds to start recording, press again for 3 seconds to stop.

How to adjust focus?

Briefly press the AF button for automatic focus. You can also use the software for manual focus.

How to turn on the LED light?

Press the LED button for 1 second. Each press changes the level: 1, 2, 3, then off.

How to rotate the image?

Press the LED button for 3 seconds to rotate by 180°.

What resolutions are available?

Resolutions include 3264x2448, 1920x1080, 1280x1024, 1280x720, 1024x768, 800x600, 640x480, etc.

What field of view does the camera cover?

At a height of 350 mm, it covers an A3 sheet (420x315 mm).

How to connect the M5 to a computer?

Plug the included USB cable into a USB 2.0 port on the computer. The device is recognized automatically.

Where to download the AVerTouch software?

Go to https://www.avereurope.com/download-center to download the software.

What to do if the camera does not work?

Check the USB connection, make sure the cable is not damaged, and restart the computer.

	■ Press for 1 second to capture a still image via AVerTouch.■ Press and hold 3 seconds to start recording via AVerTouch. To stop recording, press and hold 3 seconds again via AVerTouch.
	■ Press for 1 second to automatically adjust the focus.
	■ Press for 1 second to adjust the LED lamp brightness.1st press: lamp on (level 1). 2nd press: lamp on (level 2).3rd press: lamp on (level 3). 4th press: lamp off.■ Press and hold 3 seconds to rotate 180^ .
	Press together for 1 second to freeze via AVerTouch.

[CAUTION] To avoid damage the camera head, hold the edge of the camera head to rotate the camera head.
