Frequently Asked Questions - 66906 Lund

What type of water to use in the humidifier?
Use cold tap water at a temperature not exceeding 35 °C. Never pour hot water to avoid burns and deformation of the tank.
Can I add essential oils or fragrances?
Yes, but only fragrances specially designed for ultrasonic humidifiers. Mix them with water outside the device before filling the tank, respecting the proportions indicated on the fragrance packaging.
How to adjust the steam intensity?
Press the button marked with a droplet after starting the device. A single beep increases intensity, a double beep decreases it.
What does the timed mode (3H, etc.) mean?
The button with the clock symbol allows you to choose an operating duration. Press successively to switch to continuous mode (LED ON) or timed mode (e.g., 3H, 6H…). The device switches off automatically after the selected time.
How to turn off the LED backlight?
Press and hold the button marked with a sun until the backlight turns off. A single press changes the color or activates automatic mode.
How often to clean the humidifier?
Empty and clean the tank at least every 3 days to prevent microbial growth. Use a tablespoon of citric acid diluted in 100 ml of hot water (70 °C) for 5 minutes, then rinse with clean water.
What to do if the device no longer produces steam?
Check that the tank is filled with water, the lid is properly closed, and the water level does not exceed the maximum. If the problem persists, unplug and clean the ultrasonic generator at the bottom of the tank with a soft cloth (without tools).
Can I use the humidifier in a humid room (bathroom)?
No, the device is designed for indoor use only in dry rooms. Avoid excessive humidity around the device and do not place it near water or rain.

cause fire and/or electric shock. The location for setting the device should be chosen so that the steam jet can freely humidify the air in the room. Warning! The steam outlet must not be obstructed. A minimum of 0.5 m free space above the device must be maintained so that the steam jet can escape freely. Select the location which will ensure that the power cord does not pose a risk of tripping or moving the device. When filling and cleaning the device, remove the device's power plug. Fill the device's tank with cold water only – water temperature should not exceed 35°C. Filling with hot water can cause burns and deformation of the plastic tank. Do not use flammable substances such as alcohols or solvents to fill the tank. The device's tank should be filled so that the water level does not exceed the maximum level marked on the tank wall. Overfilling the tank is forbidden. Only pure water or water mixed with a fragrance may be poured into the tank. If fragrances are used, they must be added to water outside the device, mixed and then poured into the device's tank. Use only fragrances designed for ultrasonic devices. The fragrances must be mixed with water in the proportions specified in the instructions accompanying the fragrance. Read the entire content of the fragrance instructions before use. After each application, unplug the power cord plug from the socket. The water tank cannot be opened during use. Do not use the device if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage, or if it is leaking. It is important to be aware that high humidity levels can promote the growth of biological organisms in the surroundings. Do not allow the area around the humidifier to become wet or damp. If moisture is discovered, turn off the humidifier. Use the humidifier in intervals if it cannot be switched off. Moisture-absorbing materials such as carpets, curtains, drapes or tablecloths should not be allowed to become damp. Do not leave water in the tank when the device is not operating. USING THE DEVICE

Preparing the device for use

Unpack the device and remove all packaging components. It is recommended to keep the packaging for later storage. Clean the water tank, the lid, and housing according to the instructions found in the “Device maintenance” section.

Put the power cord plug into the socket on the base of the device (II). Do not connect the plug at the other end of the cord to the power supply yet. Set the device in the location where it will be used. Remove / open the device's lid (III). Fill the device's tank with water or a mixture of water and fragrance. Reattach / close the lid so

GB

that it fits the device housing's entire circumference (IV). Connect the device to the power supply by inserting the power cord plug into the socket. The device is ready for use.

Warning! Never move the device with a filled tank.

Using the device

The device has a touch panel with three buttons. The button with the clock symbol is used to start the emission of steam. The "ON" LED will light up to indicate continuous emission of steam. The subsequent pressing of the button will start the timed steam emission mode. The mode is described by the number and letter H (e.g. 3H) and indicates the number of hours after which the device will automatically switch the steam emission off. The device is switched off after touching the button the number of times required for all of the LEDs to stop illuminating the operating mode. The steam emission will stop.

The button with the droplet symbol is used to increase and decrease steam emission. The steam jet's intensity can only be set after the emission has started. If a single sound signal is heard after touching the button, it means a higher intensity of the steam jet. A double sound signal means less intense steam jet.

The button with the sun symbol turns on the backlight and allows to control it. The first touch of the button activates the automatic backlight colour change mode, the next touch stops the automatic backlight colour change and leaves the backlight in the selected colour. The next touch of the button changes the intensity and colour of the backlight. The backlight is switched off by touching and holding the button until the backlight is switched off.

DEVICE MAINTENANCE

Caution! All maintenance works must be carried out with the device's electric power supply disconnected. Pull the plug from the power socket and disconnect the cord from the device.

Carefully open/remove the lid and pour water out of the device's tank. Water should be removed from the tank not less frequently than every three days. Do not keep the water in the tank due to the possibility of growth of microorganisms. Before refilling, clean the tank with clean water. Remove any scale, sediments or film which has accumulated on the walls or inside the tank. Then wipe the tank dry. Pour one tablespoonful of citric acid into the tank and 100 ml of warm water with the temperature not exceeding 70°C. Mix the acid and leave the solution in the tank for 5 minutes. Next, empty the tank, rinse with clean water, and wipe dry omitting the opening in the bottom of the tank under which the ultrasonic generator is mounted. This manner of maintaining the tank will allow to keep it clean, reduce the growth of microorganisms, and prevent the build-up of scale in the tank. Never use solvents, acids, or alcohol for cleaning. Clean the base and the lid with a soft, damp cloth. Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid. After cleaning, leave the lid and the base with the tank to dry completely. Store the device in a place protected from dust, moisture, and direct sunlight. Before first use, wipe the inside of the tank with a damp cloth.
