Frequently Asked Questions - 66900 Lund

How to clean the humidifier?
Empty the tank every three days. Clean with a mixture of one tablespoon of citric acid and 100 ml of hot water (max 70°C) for 5 minutes, then rinse. Wipe with a soft cloth. Never immerse the base.
Can I use essential oils?
Yes, but only fragrances designed for ultrasonic devices. Mix the fragrance with water outside the device before pouring into the tank. Follow the proportions indicated on the bottle.
Does the device stop by itself after a few hours?
Yes, in timer mode (3 hours) or if the tank is empty. The water level sensor automatically stops the ultrasonic generator. Do not exceed 6 hours of continuous operation.
What water to use?
Use cold water (max 35°C). Hot water can deform the tank and cause burns. Avoid distilled or demineralized water if not recommended by the fragrance manufacturer.
How to turn on the LED lighting?
Press the LIGHT button. The first press activates automatic color change, subsequent presses set a color, and a long press turns off the lighting.
What to do if the device produces no mist?
Check that the tank has enough water and the lid is properly closed. Ensure the device is on (LED lit). If the indicator is off, press the MIST button several times to select a mode.
Can I leave the device running all night?
It is not recommended to leave the device unattended. Use the timer mode (3h) if you want extended use. After 6 hours, turn off the device for at least one hour.
How to empty the tank?
Unplug the device, open the lid and empty the water. Never keep water in the tank for more than three days to prevent microbial growth. Clean regularly.
Is the device noisy?
Operation is silent. The fan noise is low. In intermittent mode, 30-second pauses reduce noise.
Where to place the humidifier in the room?
Place the device on a flat, hard, dry surface, at least 0.5 m below the mist outlet. Keep away from walls, curtains and electronic devices. Ensure the cord does not pose a tripping hazard.

Overfilling the tank is forbidden. Only pure water or water mixed with a fragrance may be poured into the tank. If fragrances are used, they must be added to water outside the device, mixed and then poured into the device's tank. Use only fragrances designed for ultrasonic devices. The fragrances must be mixed with water in the proportions specified in the instructions accompanying the fragrance. Read the entire content of the fragrance instructions before use. After each application, unplug the power cord plug from the socket. Preparing the device for use

Unpack the device and remove all packaging components. It is recommended to keep the packaging for later storage. Clean the water tank, the lid, and housing according to the instructions found in the “Device maintenance” section.

Put the power cord plug into the socket on the base of the device (II). Do not connect the plug at the other end of the cord to the power supply yet. Set the device in the location where it will be used. Remove / open the device's lid (III). Fill the device's tank with water or a mixture of water and fragrance. Reattach / close the lid so

GB

that it fits the device housing's entire circumference (IV). Connect the device to the power supply by inserting the power cord plug into the socket. The device is ready for use.

Warning! Never move the device with a filled tank.

The USB plug can be plugged into a socket in the computer's housing or into a power supply unit with a current capacity of at least 0.5A equipped with a USB socket.

Using the device

The device has two buttons. The button described MIST or MIST / TIMER is used to start the emission of the steam stream. The first press of the button starts the intermittent operation mode: 30 seconds of emission, then 30 seconds of pause. During the interruption, the ultrasound generator is turned off, but the device may still emit steam accumulated during the generator's operation. This mode is used to reduce steam emissions when such intensive air humidification is not required. This is indicated by the lighting of the dark green diode. Another press starts continuous operation. This is indicated by the lighting of the light-green diode. Another press of this button activates the steam emission mode for 3 hours, after which the device automatically turns off. This is indicated by the red LED lighting up. Pressing the button again turns the device off. The signaling diode is turned off and steam emission stops.WARNING! Do not exceed 6 hours of continuous steam emission. After this time, switch off the device for at least one hour.

The device is switched off by pressing the “MIST” or “MIST/TIMER” button several times so that none of the operating modes are illuminated. The steam emission will be stopped and the quiet hum of the device’s fans will no longer be heard.

The device has a sensor to check whether there is water in the tank. If a lack of water is detected in the tank, the device will not start the ultrasonic generator.

The “LIGHT” button turns on the backlight and allows to control it. The first press of the button activates the automatic backlight colour change mode, the next press stops the automatic backlight colour change and leaves the backlight in the selected colour. The next press of the “LIGHT” button changes the intensity and colour of the backlight. The backlight is switched off by pressing and holding the “LIGHT” button until the backlight is switched off.

DEVICE MAINTENANCE

Caution! All maintenance works must be carried out with the device's electric power supply disconnected. Pull the plug from the power socket and disconnect the cord from the device.

Carefully open/remove the lid and pour water out of the device's tank. Water should be removed from the tank not less frequently than every three days. Do not keep the water in the tank due to the possibility of growth of microorganisms. Before refilling, clean the tank with clean water. Remove any scale, sediments or film which has accumulated on the walls or inside the tank. Then wipe the tank dry. Pour one tablespoonful of citric acid into the tank and 100 ml of warm water with the temperature not exceeding 70°C. Mix the acid and leave the solution in the tank for 5 minutes. Next, empty the tank, rinse with clean water, and wipe dry omitting the opening in the bottom of the tank under which the ultrasonic generator is mounted. This manner of maintaining the tank will allow to keep it clean, reduce the growth of microorganisms, and prevent the build-up of scale in the tank. Never use solvents, acids, or alcohol for cleaning. Clean the base and the lid with a soft, damp cloth. Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid. After cleaning, leave the lid and the base with the tank to dry completely. Store the device in a place protected from dust, moisture, and direct sunlight. Before first use, wipe the inside of the tank with a damp cloth.
