How do I connect my phone via Bluetooth?

Enable Bluetooth on your phone, select "VMM" from the device list. No password is required. The range is about 10 meters without obstacles. Use the MODE button on the front panel to switch to Bluetooth mode if necessary.

How do I use the +48V phantom power?

Press the PHANTOM+48V switch located on the control panel of channels 1 and 2. An indicator light shows that the power is active. This function is necessary for condenser microphones. Caution: disconnect microphones before activating or deactivating phantom power.

Can I plug in instruments like an electric guitar?

Yes, the combo inputs on channels 1 and 2 accept mono signals from microphones (XLR) or instruments via 6.35 mm jack, such as an electric guitar. Adjust gain and EQ as needed.

What should I do if the peak LED (PEAK) lights up red?

The red LED indicates that the sound level is too high and may clip. Reduce the volume of the corresponding channel (gain or level) or the master stereo volume to avoid distortion.

How can I record my performance?

Use the REC output (RCA) on the rear to connect an external recorder. This output provides an unbalanced signal. You can also use the USB recording function by holding down the MODE button during USB playback (see manual for details).

How do I adjust the EQ?

Each channel (1, 2, and stereo input) has HIGH (treble) and LOW (bass) controls with an adjustment range of -15 to +15 dB. Turn the potentiometers to adjust frequencies to your preference.

What should I do if condensation occurs after transport?

If the device has been exposed to significant temperature changes, do not turn it on immediately. Leave it off at room temperature until condensation dissipates (this may take several hours). This prevents short circuits.

How do I clean the mixing table?

Use a dry, soft cloth. Never use chemicals, aerosols, or liquids that could damage the finish or get inside. Unplug the device before cleaning.

Can I use this mixing table outdoors?

Congratulations to the purchase of this Vonyx product. Please read this manual thoroughly prior to using the product in order to benefit fully from all features.

Read the manual prior to using the product. Follow the instructions in order not to invalidate the warranty. Take all precautions to avoid fire and/or electrical shock. Repairs must only be carried out by a qualified technician in order to avoid electrical shock. Keep the manual for future reference.

- Prior to using the product, please ask advice from a specialist. When the product is switched on for the first time, some smell may occur. This is normal and will disappear after a while.

- The product contains voltage carrying parts. Therefore, do NOT open the housing.

- Do not place metal objects or pour liquids into the product. This may cause electrical shock and malfunction.

- Do not place the product near heat sources such as radiators, etc. Do not place the product on a vibrating surface. Do not cover the ventilation holes.

- The product is not suitable for continuous use.

- Be careful with the mains lead and do not damage it. A faulty or damaged mains lead can cause electrical shock and malfunction.

- When unplugging the product from a mains outlet, always pull the plug, never the lead.

- Do not plug or unplug the product with wet hands.

- If the plug and/or the mains lead are damaged, they need to be replaced by a qualified technician.

- If the product is damaged to such an extent that internal parts are visible, do NOT plug the product into a mains outlet and DO NOT switch the unit on. Contact your dealer. Do NOT connect the product to a rheostat or dimmer.

- To avoid fire and shock hazard, do not expose the product to rain and moisture.

- All repairs should be carried out by a qualified technician only.

- Connect the product to an earthed mains outlet (220-240Vac/50Hz) protected by a 10-16A fuse.

- During a thunderstorm or if the product will not be used for a longer period of time, unplug it from the mains. The rule is: Unplug it from the mains when not in use.

- If the product has not been used for a longer period of time, condensation may occur. Let the unit reach room temperature before you switch it on. Never use the product in humid rooms or outdoors.

- To prevent accidents in companies, you must follow the applicable guidelines and follow the instructions.

- Do not repeatedly switch the product on and off. This shortens the lifetime.

- Keep the product out of the reach of children. Do not leave the product unattended.

- Do not use cleaning sprays to clean switches. The residues of these sprays cause deposits of dust and grease. In case of malfunction, always seek advice from a specialist.

- Do not force the controls.

- If this product is with speaker inside which can cause magnetic field. Keep the product at least 60cm away from computer or TV.

- If this product has a built-in lead-acid rechargeable battery. Please recharge the battery every 3 months if you are not going to use the product for a long period of time. Otherwise the battery may be permanently damaged.

- If the battery is damaged, please replace with same specifications battery. And dispose the damaged battery environment friendly.

- If the product has fallen, always have it checked by a qualified technician before you switch the product on again.

- Do not use chemicals to clean the unit. They damage the varnish. Only clean the product with a dry cloth.

- Keep away from electronic equipment that may cause interference.

- Only use original spares for repairs, otherwise serious damage and/or dangerous radiation may occur.

- Switch the product off prior to unplugging it from the mains and/or other equipment. Unplug all leads and cables prior to moving the product.

- Make sure that the mains lead cannot be damaged when people walk on it. Check the mains lead before every use for damages and faults!

- The mains voltage is 220-240Vac/50Hz. Check if power outlet match. If you travel, make sure that the mains voltage of the country is suitable for this product.

UNPACKING INSTRUCTION

CAUTION! Carefully unpack the box upon receipt. Check the contents to ensure that all parts are present and have been received in good condition. Notify the shipper immediately and retain packaging material if any parts appear damaged from shipping or the package itself shows signs of mishandling. Save the package and all packaging materials. If the product must be returned, it is important that the product is returned in the original factory box and packaging.

If the device has been exposed to drastic temperature fluctuation (e.g. after transportation), do not switch it on immediately. The arising condensation water might damage your device. Leave the device switched off until it has reached room temperature.

MP3 CONTROL PANEL

1. USB PORT

Connect your USB-device to this port. Please note: The USB port on the rear panel of the device is solely for power supply.

2. DISPLAY

Press to skip to previous track. Press and hold to lower the MP3/USB volume.

4. PLAY/PAUSE

Press to start/resume or pause play.

5. MODE

Press to switch modes. If USB is inserted, it starts playing USB automatically. Press to change to BT streaming mode.

When playing USB mode, press and hold to enter RECORD mode.

6. NEXT/VOLUME +

Press to skip to next track. Press and hold to increase the MP3/USB volume.

7. VU/CLIP METER

Shows the output level of the stereo out jack. Lower the volume level if peak LED is emitting a red light.

8. DELAY

Turn to adjust the delay effect.

9. FX RTN LEVEL

Adjusts the effect volume level.

10. HÉADPHONE JACK OUTPUT

3.5mm jack headphone output.

11. STEREO VOLUME LEVEL

Turn to adjust the overall volume output of the stereo output.

12. HEADPHONE LEVEL

Turn to adjust the headphone volume.

CONNECTION PANEL

1. CHANNEL 1&2 MIC/LINE & GUITAR INPUT

Combo input jack for mono signal (XLR microphones or 1/4" line input devices) or instruments such as an electric guitar.

2. REC OUTPUT

Unbalanced RCA-output sockets. Usable to connect an external recorder.

3. LINE INPUT

RCA line input sockets.

4. STEREO OUTPUT

6.35mm jack output sockets.

5. POWER ON/OFF BUTTON

Press to turn the device on/off.

CHANNEL 1&2 CONTROL PANEL

1. PHANTOM POWER SWITCH +48V

Press this switch when using a phantom-powered condenser microphone in channel 1 or 2. When this switch is on, the LED light indicates that the unit is supplying DC+48V phantom power to the input jacks.

2. GAIN CONTROL

Turn to adjust the gain applied to the input signal level of channels 1 and 2.

3. TREBLE CONTROL

Turn to adjust the high frequency tones of channels 1 and 2.

4. BASS CONTROL

Turn to adjust the low frequency tones of channels 1 and 2.

5. FX SWITCH

Press to assign the possibility of delay FX to the corresponding channel (1 & 2).

6. MONO/STEREO SWITCH

MONO: Sound input to channels 1/L or 2/R can be heard from both the right and left speakers. If you use the 1/L or 2/R individually, set the switch to this setting.

STEREO: Sound input to channel 1/L can be emitted by the left speaker only, and input from channel 2/R can be emitted to the right speaker only.

7. VOLUME LEVEL CONTROLS

Turn to adjust the volume balance between both channels.

STEREO INPUT & MP3 LEVEL CONTROL

1. TREBLE CONTROL

Turn to adjust the high frequency tones of the stereo input channel.

2. BASS CONTROL

Turn to adjust the low frequency tones of the stereo input channel.

3. STEREO INPUT VOLUME LEVEL CONTROL

Turn to adjust the stereo line input volume level.

4. MP3 VOLUME LEVEL CONTROL

Turn to adjust the MP3 volume level.

BT CONNECTION

1. Activate the BT-function on your device (mobile phone, tablet etc.) from which you want to play the music. See the operating instructions for that device.
2. Select "VMM" on your BT-device and make the BT-connection. No password is required.

Attention: The BT distance is approx. 10 meter without any barrier.
