Assembling the Chopper

ADE KA 2110 - Assembling the Chopper - 1

natural_image Line drawing of a kitchen appliance with a blender and a side bowl (no text or symbols)
  1. Place the anti-slip base on a flat, dry, non-slip work surface.

  2. Place the glass container on the anti-slip base.

  3. Place the blade attachment onto the rod in the container (if necessary, turn it slightly, so that the blade attachment can be put on completely).

  4. Put the ingredients into the container. The bowl must not be filled more than 2/3 full.

  5. Place the lid onto the bowl.

  6. Place the motor onto the end of the shaft of the blade attachment that sticks out from the opening in the lid. The motor must sit flush in the lid recess and must noticeably engage with the shaft.

If necessary:

- Detach the motor and turn the shaft of the blade attachment a little by hand.

- Put the motor back into place.

  1. Plug the chopper into an easily accessible power socket.

Chopping Food

Select the appropriate power level using the On/Off button: I or II.

- Power level I operates at lower power and is particularly suitable for processing soft foods.

- Power level II operates at higher power and is particularly suitable for harder foods.

  1. Press the appropriate button for a maximum of 30 seconds to chop your ingredients. Then let the motor cool down for approx. 3 minutes.

  2. If the ingredients are not sufficiently chopped, repeat step 1 again.

  3. Unplug the power cord from the mains outlet.

  4. Remove the motor and the attachment.

  5. Pull the blade attachment out of the glass container.

  6. Take the ingredients out of the glass container.

Processing Tips

  • To ensure that ingredients are chopped evenly, switch the device off after each burst of chopping. Then use a rubber scraper to push the ingredients back into the middle of the bowl. You can then switch the device back on again.
  • You can also use the device in pulse mode by pressing the I or II button briefly. When the blades stop turning, some of the food will fall back underneath them. This helps to ensure even processing.
  • In many cases, the chopper will get the job done in seconds. Avoid mixing for too long in order to preserve the structure of the food.
  • The processed food should either be consumed immediately, or used further as required. The container is not intended to be used for permanent storage.

Overheat protection

The device has a built-in overheating protection. If the overheat protection triggers, the device will switch off immediately during use.

In this case:

  1. Release the power level button (I or II) and take the plug out of the power socket.
  2. Let the device cool down for at least 30 minutes.
Eventually, you can use the device again as usual.

Separating the Blade Attachment

ADE KA 2110 - Separating the Blade Attachment - 1

WARNING against injury

- The blades are very sharp - do not touch them with bare hands. If the blade attachment is still clean, we recommend that you put the protective covers onto the blades.

The blade attachment is formed of two sections. When the blade is very dirty, it is useful to separate it in order to clean it.

ADE KA 2110 - WARNING against injury - 1

natural_image Illustration of two hands assembling a propeller (no text or symbols present)
  1. Take the blade attachment in your hand.

  2. Turn the upper section away from you, or clockwise, as far as it will go.

  3. Pull off the upper section of the blade attachment.

Assemble by reversing this process.

NOTE on material damage

- Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, brushes with metal or nylon bristles, or sharp or metallic cleaning objects such as knives, hard spatulas and the like. They can damage the surfaces.

- Never put the motor in a dishwasher. This would destroy the motor.

The device must be cleaned after every use. Whenever possible, clean the device immediately after use to prevent the ingredients from drying out.

  1. Disconnect the plug from the power socket and let the motor cool down completely.
  2. Clean the motor by wiping with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
  3. If necessary, separate the blade attachment, see "Separating the Blade Attachment".

  4. Clean the blade attachment, the lid, the glass container and the anti-slip base in warm soapy water, using a soft, damp cloth. Alternatively, you can also clean these parts in the dishwasher (but not the motor!)

  5. Rinse all these parts with clean water.
  6. Dry the individual parts thoroughly with a tea towel.

ADE KA 2110 - NOTE on material damage - 1

There is a rubber seal around the edge of the lid. When cleaning the parts, you can simply pull the seal off, wipe it clean with a cloth and then put it back on.

Storage

  1. Clean the chopper as described in the "Cleaning" section.
  2. Store the chopper out of reach of children in a clean, dry and frost-free place.
