Because the decoupling takes place via a balanced resistance matrix, the merge box can be used with phantom power, which means that condens- er microphones can also be used (two condenser microphones: phantom power P max 1/2). Avoid connecting a dynamic and a condenser microphone together on the summing mixer, as the microphone types have very different levels and sound characteristics.
