1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

  • Never insert fingers, pencils or other objects through the grill when the appliance is running.
  • Make sure the appliance is placed on a stable surface when in use.
  • Do not use your appliance near a window. The rain could cause an electric shock.
  • Never leave the appliance running unattended.
  • Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the rating label of the appliance

WARNING: Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid, nor expose the electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.

WARNING: if the appliance falls accidentally in water, unplug it immediately. Do not reach into the water!

  • Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec, in order to avoid any type of danger.

2. BEFORE USE

  1. Remove the nut (2) and the back grid fixing nut (4) by turning anticlockwise both of them, then remove the two pieces.

  2. Place the back grid (5) with the handle on the top part.

  3. Place and firmly tighten the back grid fixing nut (4) to fix the back grid (5).

  4. Place the blades (3) on the central hub (6) until they match the back grid fixing nut. (4).

  5. Place the nut (2) shaft and turn it clockwise until it is fixed.

  1. Put the back (5) and front (1) grid together. Make sure the holes on each one match perfectly and use the 3 closing clips to keep them safely attached.

  2. Insert the fan (11) in the base (12) and screw with the nut (13).

3. OPERATION

  1. To activate or stop oscillation, press the button or pull (7).
  2. To adjust the direction of the fresh air, tilt the fan's head up or down.
  3. You can adjust speed with the speed buttons:

0: Off / 1: Slow / 2: Medium / 3: Fast

  1. Plug the power cord into a suitable power socket.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Always disconnect the appliance from the mains by switching it off and removing the plug from the power outlet before cleaning.
  2. It is advisable to use a neutral detergent and a soft cloth and to rub dry. Do not use solvents, acidic detergents, petrol or alcohol etc., to clean the plastic components, as these could be deformed or damaged.
  3. Do not allow water to penetrate the motor during cleaning.

The warranty will not cover the following situations:

  • The product has been used for purposes other than those intended for it, misused, beaten, exposed to moisture, immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any other fault attributable to the customer.
  • The product has been disassembled, modified, or repaired by persons, not authorised by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
  • Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due to use.

The warranty service covers every manufacturing defects of your appliance for 2 years, based on current legislation, except consumable parts. In the event of misuse, the warranty will not apply.
