How to assemble the VT433 fan?

First unplug the appliance. Insert the body into the base making sure the 3 hooks come out through the slots. Fix the rear grille onto the motor with the nut, then place the blade on the shaft and lock it with the nut by turning counterclockwise. Finally, join the front grille to the rear grille using the plastic ring and locking clip. Make sure the grille is firmly attached.

How to use horizontal oscillation?

To activate oscillation, press the button on the motor body. To stop it, lift the button. The fan will oscillate from right to left.

How to adjust the fan speed?

Use the selector on the body. The positions are: 1 for low speed, 2 for medium speed, 3 for high speed. To turn off, set the selector to 0 and unplug the cord.

How to clean the VT433 fan?

Always unplug the appliance before cleaning. Use a soft slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive or corrosive products. Never immerse the fan in water. If liquid penetrates inside, unplug immediately and dry thoroughly.

Can I use essential oils with this fan?

Yes, some models accept an aroma diffuser. Add a few drops of oil/essence (not supplied) onto the filter without overdoing it to avoid damaging the motor. Hang the diffuser on the front or rear grille using the hooks.

What to do if the fan does not work?

First check that the plug is properly inserted and the socket is powered. Make sure the selector is not on 0. If the problem persists, do not use it and contact a qualified technician. Do not attempt to repair it yourself.

Is this fan safe for children?

This product must not be used by children under 8 years of age without supervision. Children over 8 years can use it under supervision and after receiving instructions about the risks. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning must not be performed by children.

How to store the fan during non-use periods?

Unplug the appliance and clean it. Store it in a dry place away from dust, preferably in its original packaging.

Can I use an extension cord or adapter?

The use of adapters or extension cords is not recommended. If necessary, they must comply with safety standards and have an amperage at least equal to that of the appliance. Have it checked by a professional if needed.

How to adjust the vertical tilt of the fan?

To adjust the tilt, grasp the motor body and orient it in the desired direction. Clicks indicate the different possible positions. There is no specific button.

INSTALLATION

- After removing the packing materials, check the integrity of the heater; if you are unsure, do not use it and ask for qualified professional help. The packing materials (plastic bags, polystyrene foam, nails, etc.) must be kept out the reach of children because they are potential sources of danger. Attention: any stickers or advertising material applied to the grid removed before using the appliance. The manufacturer declines all responsibility in case this is not safe working practices will be respected.

- Before connecting the appliance, check that the voltage values shown on the data plate correspond to those of the electricity supply network. In the event of incompatibility between the electric outlet and the plug of the appliance, have the outlet replaced with another more suitable type by professionally qualified personnel, who will make sure that the section of the wires of the outlet is appropriate for the absorbed power of the appliance. In general, the use of adapters or extension cords is not recommended; if their use is indispensable, they must conform to existing safety standards and their current capacity (amperes) must not be less that the maximum of the appliance.

• Stand the appliance on a horizontal, flat surface or table; do not stand on a inclined plane (the appliance could upset).
• Do not place the appliance near an open flame, cooking or other heating appliance.
• In the event of a breakdown or poor operation, turn the fan heater off and ask for professionally qualified help.

ASSEMBLY

Before each use, verify that the unit is in good condition, the electric cord is not damaged, if the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a competent qualified electrician or a person with similar qualifications, in order to avoid any risk.

Attention: the fan can be used only when completely and correctly assembled, that is complete with its base and protection grid.

Attention: always unplug the appliance before you assemble.

If in doubt, have the appliance checked or assembled by a qualified professional person. For assembly, refer to figure.

1. Insert the lower part of the body in the base (8) (see the figure to the right), make sure that the 3 hooks come out of their relative slots.

Attention: without the base the fan can not be used.

1. Fasten the rear grid (4) to the motor casing, verify that the handle appears in the back (as shown) and lock using the appropriate ring nut (3).
2. Insert the fan (10) on the motor shaft (5) and lock with the appropriate ring nut (12) turning it tightly anticlockwise.
3. Couple the front grid (1) to the rear grid (4), blocking with the ring perimeter plastic; and secure it with the screw with nut, (11) must be in the lower part. Having done this, check that the protection grid is firmly coupled and fastened to the motor.

USE

Insert the plug of the fan in the power supply.

Ventilation: select the desired speed with the selector (9).

To turn the fan off, press the "0" key and then remove the plug from the socket.

Horizontal oscillation (right-left): this is selected with the button (6) located on the motor body. To stop the motion and keep the ventilator still, press the button.

Vertical inclination (high-low): it is regulated by gripping the motor body and orienting it in the direction desired; you will hear “click” that indicate the fan’s various position.

When not in use for long periods, the plug must always be removed from the socket.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Attention: before normal cleaning, remove the plug from the socket.

• Ensure that the fan is switched off from the supply mains before removing the guard.
• Clean the body with soft, slightly damp, cloth; do not use abrasive or corrosive products.
• Do not immerse any part of the fan in water or other liquid: if this should happen, do not put your hand in the liquid, but first remove the plug from the socket. Carefully dry the appliance and make sure that all the electrical parts are dry: in the case of doubt, ask for professionally qualified help.
• It is essential that the motor's air holes be kept from dust and lint.
• If the fan will not be used for long periods, it must be protected from dust and humidity; we recommend storing it in its original packaging.
• Should you decide not to use the appliance any more, we recommend making it inoperative by cutting the power cord (after making sure you have disconnected the plug from the socket) and make dangerous parts harmless if children are allowed to play with them (such as the blade).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THE PRODUCT IN ACCORDANCE WITH EC DIRECTIVE 2011/65/EC.

At the end of its working life, the product must not be disposed of as urban waste. It must be taken to a special local authority differentiated waste collection centre or to a dealer providing this service. Disposing of a household appliance separately avoids possible negative consequences for the environment and health deriving from inappropriate disposal and enables the constituent materials to be recovered to obtain significant savings in energy and resources.
