Kids' Drawing Projector
- Introduction
We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high quality product. The instructions for use are part of the product. They contain important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. Only use the unit as described and for the specified applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.
- Intended use

This Kids projector is designed to trace images from the projector by using color pencils on the paper.
Any use other than that described above is prohibited and will result in product damage. The product is suitable for use in private households and not intended for commercial use. Damage compensation claims arising from unintended use, improper repairs, unauthorised alterations or the use of unapproved replacement parts will not be accepted. The user shall bear the sole risk.

Generalsafety instructions
Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use! When passing this product on to others, please also include all the documents! Damage due to failure to comply with these operating instructions will avoid the warranty! We assume no liability for property damage or personal injury caused by improper handling or failure to observe the safety notes!

WARNING. Not suitable for children under 36 months. Small parts. Choking hazard.

WARNING. To be used under the direct supervision of an adult.
■ WARNING. Keep away from fire.
■ Mounting/Dismantling only by adults due to small parts which can be swallowed.
WARNING. All packaging materias are not part of the toy and for safety reasons should always be removed before it is handed over to children to play with.
Never leave children unattended with the product or the packaging material. There is a danger of suffocation. Children frequently underestimate the dangers. The product is suitable for children aged from 3 years old.
This product may be used by children as well as persons with physical, sensory or mental impairments or lacking experience and knowledge so long as they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the product and they understand the associated risks. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.
■ Use the product only in dry indoor areas.
This product's illuminant is not replaceable. The entire product needs to be replaced if the illuminant has reached the end of its service life.

Avoid the risk of damage to property
- Check the product for damages before each use! Stop using the product if you notice any damages!
- Keep the product away from moisture, dripping water and splashing water!
● Special safety instructions for handling batteries
■ Only an adult may insert and remove the batteries.
■ Rechargeable batteries may only be charged under adult supervision.
■ Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging.

Safetyinstructions for batteries/rechargeable batteries
■ DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries/rechargeable batteries out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention.
■ Swallowing may lead to burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death. Severe burns can occur within 2 hours of ingestion.


DANGER OF EXPLOSION!
Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not short-circuit batteries/rechargeable batteries and/or open them. Overheating, fire or bursting can be the result.
■ Never throw batteries/rechargeable batteries into fire or water.
- Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries/rechargeable batteries.
Risk of leakage of batteries/rechargeable batteries
- Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect batteries/rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators/direct sunlight.
If batteries/rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes with the chemicals! Flush immediately the affected areas with fresh water and seek medical attention!


WEAR PROTECTIVE
GLOVES! Leaked or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries can cause burns on contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event occurs.
In the event of a leakage of batteries/rechargeable batteries, immediately remove them from the product to prevent damage.
■ Only use the same type of batteries/rechargeable batteries. Do not mix used and new batteries/rechargeable batteries.
■ Remove batteries/rechargeable batteries if the product will not be used for a longer period.
Risk of damage of the product
■ Only use the specified type of battery/rechargeable battery!
- Insert batteries/rechargeable batteries according to polarity marks (+) and (-) on the battery/rechargeable battery and the product.
■ Use a dry lint-free cloth or cotton swab to clean the contacts on the battery/
rechargeable battery and in the battery compartment before inserting!
■ Remove exhausted batteries/rechargeable batteries from the product immediately.

Start-up
- Inserting/replacing batteries (see Fig. B)
Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the projector 1. To do this, remove the fastening screw 7 using a cross-tip screwdriver.
Remove any used batteries from the battery compartment 8 and insert three new batteries 5 (LR6 (type AA)) in the battery compartment 8.
Put the battery compartment cover back on the battery compartment 8 and fasten it by screwing the fastening screw 7 back on with a cross-tip screw-driver.
The product is now ready for use.

Use
Lay the projector base flat on the table, making sure that it stands firmly and does not wobble.
Place the projectdr in the opening provided in the projector base 2 and let it click into place (see Fig. C).
Select a motif disc and carefully insert it into the slot provided in the projector 1 (see Fig. D).
IMPORTANT: Do not touch the foils of the motif discs 3.
Place a sheet of drawing paper under the projector base 2 (see Fig. E).
☐ Switch off the light in the room or dim it if possible.
☐ Switch the projector on using the on/off button 1b. The projector projects the subject, e.g. a vehicle or an animal on the drawing paper 6.
Use the focus contrab to adjust the focus so that the desired subject is shown in focus on the drawing paper 6 (see Fig. F).
Turn the motif d[sɛ] to select a different motif, if necessary (see Fig. G).
Slide the drawing paper so that the projected subject appears in the desired location on the drawing paper 6.
Draw the motif on the drawing paper with a color pencil 4 (see Fig. H).
Tip: Alternatively use a pencil (not included) to trace the outline.
Then use the color pencil to color in the motif.
Change the motif as you wish by turning the motif disc 3 (see Fig. I) or replace the motif disc 3.
- Cleaning and care
■ Never use harsh cleaning agents or abrasives, as these will damage the material.
Do not clean the product with water or other liquids.
Use a dry, lint-free cloth when you are cleaning the product.
Storage
■ Store the product in a dry environment, protected from dust and direct sunlight.
During long periods of storage: to prevent the battery performance from deteriorating, always switch off the product after use. Remove batteries from the product if you are not using it for a prolonged period.
●Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1–7: plastics/20–22: paper and fibreboard/80–98: composite materials.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.
Faulty or used batteries/rechargeable batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC and its amendments.
Please return the batteries/rechargeable batteries and/or the product to the available collection points.

Environmental damage through incorrect disposal of the batteries/rechargeable batteries!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste.
They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of used batteries/rechargeable batteries at a local collection point.
