1. General Safety Instructions
Please read the following operating instructions carefully and familiarise yourself with the unit prior to using for the first time. If used for purposes other than that intended, our guarantee conditions will become null and void. We are not responsible for damages caused by mishandling of the unit. Please keep these instructions for any future reference and hand them over when passing the unit on to a new owner.
Persons not conversant with the contents of these operating instructions must not use this device.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
The pump must be supplied through a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Instructions with these symbols are particularly to be noted:

Hazardous for persons or equipment if the safety instructions of this unit are ignored or disregarded.

Hazardous, as electrocution leading to death or severe injuries to persons could result from this unit if the safety instructions are ignored or disregarded.
Please check the unit for any damage due to transport. Any damage caused during transportation has to be reported immediately – and within 8 days from purchase date – to the shop/seller.
2. Intended Use
The pump is designed to aerate aquaria and pond water. Do not place the pump above water to avoid slip into water, it must be installed and used outside the water.

Use the appliance only indoor, do not install outdoor.

4. Installation
4.1. General Safety Instructions on installation

Disconnect the unit from the mains before installation.
Do not force single components while assembling as this may damage the unit.
Pay due attention to the attached pictures at the end of this manual of instructions. The figures hereafter which are put in brackets are referring to these pictures.
4.2. Safety guidelines (see fi g. 1)
-Mains voltage and type of current have to correspond to the data on the type plate.
-Pull out mains plug before starting to work or maintenance on the pump, in the pond or aquarium (disconnect the pump).
The pump should be placed so that it cannot fall in the water. Keep the pump dry. Fix the pump by means of a string (A) which can pass through the hole at the back side of the pump. Caution! The pump may travel due to the vibrations that result during operation. Ensure the pump is fixed by the string (A) securely before operation.
The pump should be placed at higher level than water surface (B).
The pump is designed for indoor use only!
The pump should not be used, if mains connection, plug or housing are damaged. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. Any repair work should be done only by the manufacturer or by an authorized repair shop who has on hand all the special tools.
Run a part of the cable downward in a curve so as to prevent water flowing freely along the cable to the plug or the plug socket (C). In case plug or socket have got wet, do avoid any contact! Interrupt current supply to the plug socket!
Run a part of the hose downward in a curve so as to prevent water flowing freely along the hose to the pump (D). In case the pump has got wet, pull out mains plug!
-Do never hang up or transport the pump by the cable!
-Protect the pump from freezing in winter!
-Take special care in following these safety guidelines when children are near by.
4.3. Installation
-Order of setting up (see fig. 1):
- aerating pump, 2. hose approx. 10 cm, 3. non-return valve, 4. hose and 5. air stone.
5. Electrical connection
The appliance is supplied with line cord and plug. Do not carry or pull the unit by the line cord or plug. Protect the plug and the line cord from heat, oils and sharp edges.

Check that the voltage shown on the label of the unit corresponds to the voltage of the mains supply. The person responsible for the installation must ensure that all electrical connections are earthed according to the electrical regulations of the authority in the area.

Connect the unit only to power supplies with residual current circuit breaker (RCCD) with sensitivity of 30mA (DIN VDE 0100T739). (earth leakage system)

7. Maintenance and Remedy of faults

Prior to any maintenance disconnect the power supply to all units immersed.

We are not responsible for any consequential damages what so ever or any damage caused by misuse and tampering. Any inappropriate attempts to repair will lead to loss of any guarantee claim.

The pump must be protected from freezing temperature.
Regular maintenance and careful cleaning extend the life of this unit and reduce the possible danger with resultant operational faults.
7.1 Operation and maintenance
The aerating pump is suitable for continuous use. The diaphragms inside the pump are parts subject to wear, these may be replaced when the pump performance is decreasing. Replacement of the diaphragms should only be effected by the manufacturer or an authorized repair shop. Air stone and suction filter (in the bottom side of the pump) should be cleaned occasionally.
7.2. Remedy of Faults
In the case of faulty operation first check if any error or other problems have occurred during installation and which are not due to faults of the unit, such as for example power failure.
In the following charts we indicate some remedies of possible faults with probable causes and give our advice for a solution. Please only implement any suggestions after disconnecting the unit from the power supply. If a fault cannot be repaired refer to customer service immediately, or to the shop where the item was purchased. The guarantee does not cover cases of damages which may result from tampering and negligence.
8. Warranty
This unit has been manufactured according to the most advanced manufacturing processes. The seller guarantees high quality materials and manufacturing specifications in compliance with the Safety Norms of the country in which the product has been sold. This Warranty is valid from the day of purchase and the following conditions:
Within the warranty period all materials or manufacturing faults will be settled free of charge.
Any complaint has to be advised upon immediately after checking of the appliance.
The warranty claims will be not valid if there is any interference from the buyer or third party. This warranty does not cover any mishandling, damage, technical modification or faults due to improper maintenance or installation due to external influences. This warranty does not cover parts subjected to normal wear and tare (i.e. rotors). Each single component has been carefully developed and checked to provide the highest satisfaction with long lasting usage. Natural wearing and tare is however subjected to the installation environment of unit, to the duration of operation and to the frequency of maintenance and cleaning. Following the installation manual and maintenance procedure set out, will contribute to a long life for the unit.
We reserve the right to repair or replace the faulty parts or the whole unit in case of a claim. Replaced parts will remain our property.
Consequential damage claims and claims for compensation will not be entertained unless they are due to negligence of the producer.
Only the written conditions of this warrantee will be valid and no additions or subtractions will be entertained. The warranty will be honoured only if the unit is returned in its entirety with the receipt or proof of purchase. This warranty condition is valid in the country where the product has been purchased.
Particular safety remarks:

In case the unit no longer works, please check first if any error was caused during installation before sending it back for repair.

In case you have to return the unit for repair or replacement always include following documentation:
- Receipt of purchase.
- A in-depth detailed description of the fault (the greater the accuracy of the fault report the greater the chance of a solution)
- Before returning the unit for repair please remove any additional part which you may have added and that was not in the original unit. We do not take any responsibility for parts added to the appliance.
9. Customer Service
In case of guarantee claims or faults please return the unit to the shop /seller.
