What is the difference between the COA8005 model and other models in the series?

The COA8005 (ref. 40702) is a large oven with 4 racks, equipped with a steam function. Unlike models 40701 and 40703, it does not have a grill function.

How to install the COA8005 oven?

Installation must be carried out by a qualified installer. Maintain a clearance of at least 12 inches (30.4 cm) around the appliance. Use the supplied 4 inch (10 cm) feet for NSF compliance. Plug into a properly grounded outlet matching the voltage on the nameplate.

How to use the steam function?

The steam function is activated by pressing the push-button on the front panel. Use it at the beginning of the cooking cycle, once the oven has reached the desired temperature. Do not press for more than 2 seconds per pulse to avoid overpressure.

How to clean the COA8005 oven?

Turn off and unplug the appliance, then let it cool completely. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth soaked in soapy water. For deep cleaning, you can remove the oven door (see manual). Do not use caustic or abrasive cleaners.

How to remove the oven door?

Open the door, then place the hinge latches over the hinge arms on both sides. Tilt the door slightly upward and lift it off. To reinstall, reverse the procedure, ensuring the arms are properly seated under the pins.

How to replace the oven light bulb?

Unplug the appliance and let it cool. Unscrew the lamp cover, remove the old bulb, and install a new 25 W / 220 V bulb (ref. 40702). Screw the cover back on. Use only high-temperature bulbs.

What to do if the heating indicator light does not turn on?

Check that the appliance is plugged in. If the indicator light is defective, replace it. If the thermostat is faulty, have it replaced by a professional. Contact Vollrath technical service.

Why is the steam function not working?

Ensure the water supply is open and the pressure is between 3 and 30 PSI. Check that the hose is not blocked. If the problem persists, contact technical support.

Can the oven be used without the feet?

No, using it without the feet is dangerous and may cause overheating or fire. The 4-inch (10 cm) feet are mandatory for compliance and safety.

DPilotLights. Thislight indicates that the oven is heating and the timer is activated. Once the temperature has been reached the light will go out. Equipment will continue to maintain heat and temperature as the light cycles on and off. This light is not a power "ON" indicator. The timer pilot light will illuminate when the timer is operating.

1. Set the timer control to the desired time. The fan and oven light will operate continuously. The heating elements will cycle on and off to maintain a consistent temperature.
